BILLY B. BRADSHAW
CALERA - Funeral service for Billy B. Bradshaw, 73, will be Wednesday, Dec. 8, at 2 p.m. at Northside Baptist Church in Calera with the Rev. Harold Warren and the Rev. Joe Sizemore officiating. Burial will be in Shelby Memory Gardens.
Mr. Bradshaw died Dec. 5 at his residence. He was born on June 30, 1931 in St. Clair County. He was a retired Alabama State Trooper with 30 years of service and was a member of Northside Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Monta S. Bradshaw; children, Rhonda Beale, David Bradshaw, Richard Bradshaw; sisters, Elsie Black and Virginia Hurst; five grandchildren; and two great-grandsons.
The body may be viewed at the funeral home for one hour before the service.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

JERRY MATHEW GILL
BIRMINGHAM - Funeral service for Jerry Mathew Gill, 52, was Monday, Dec. 6, at 3 p.m. at Kilgroe Funeral Home chapel in Pell City. Burial was in Mt. Olive Cemetery
in Chula Vista.
Mr. Gill died Dec. 3.
He is survived by his mother, Velma L. Gill; sister, Linda Carol Gill; and brother, James L. Gill.
Kilgroe Funeral Home in Pell City directed the service.
RANDY MATHIS
MOODY - Funeral service for Randy Mathis, 47, formerly of Harpersville, will be Tuesday, Dec. 7, at 2 p.m. at Cedar Grove Baptist Church. Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery.
Mr. Mathis died Dec. 4. He was preceded in death by his father, John Robert Mathis.
He is survived by his wife, Teresa Mathis of Moody, formerly of Columbiana; daughter, Kasey Stephens; son, Colton Mathis; one grandson; mother, Mary Mathis; brother, Reid Mathis; and sisters, Sandra Partridge, Kathy Williamson and Debbie Swiney.
Kilgroe Funeral Home in Leeds will direct the service.

DADEVILLE - Mary Jo Maxwell died Dec. 4 at her residence.

HARPERSVILLE - Funeral service for Michael John Pender, 22, will be Tuesday, Dec. 7, at 2 p.m. at Vincent Revival Center with the Rev. Tim Tillman officiating. Burial will be in Harpersville Cemetery.
Mr. Pender died Dec. 5 at Dunwoody Medical Center in Atlanta, Ga.
He is survived by his parents, John and Della Pender of Harpersville; sister, Holly Gates and husband Donny of Harpersville; grandfather, Howard Roberson of Harpersville; nephews, Tyler Wood, Tim Gates and Matt Gates of Harpersville; and niece, Mary Gates of Harpersville.
Pallbearers will be Jeremy Sims, Shane Roberson, Brian Starnes, Danny Adair and Mark Green.
Curtis and Son Funeral Home Childersburg Chapel will direct the service.
GRADY LEE ROBERSON
EIGHT MILE - Graveside service for Grady Lee Roberson, 87, will be Tuesday, Dec. 7, at 11 a.m. in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery
with the Rev. Troy Aldridge officiating.
Mr. Roberson died Dec. 4 at Eight Mile Nursing Home. He was formerly of Daleville, had been in the Eight Mile Nursing Home for the past nine months and was preceded in death by his wife, Pauline; and one son, Benny.
He is survived by son, the Rev. D.L. Roberson and wife Jeanell of Eight Mile; grandson, Phillip Roberson and wife Michelle of Athens; granddaughter, Jan Aldridge and husband Troy of Auburn; cousins, Rose Moore and Judy Moore of Sylacauga; very good friend, Dale Graves of Daleville; and five great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 10 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.

MARGARET SMITH
SYLACAUGA - Funeral service for Margaret "Bobbie" Smith, 73, will be Tuesday, Dec. 7, at 11 a.m. at Radney-Smith Funeral Home in Sylacauga with the Rev. Jimmy Abrams officiating. Burial will be in Andrews Chapel Cemetery.
Mrs. Smith died Dec. 4 in Sylacauga. She was a member of Andrews Chapel Church.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Lewis V. "Bud" Smith of Sylacauga; sons, Richard Smith of Acworth, Ga., and Frank Smith of Sylacauga; four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

THOMAS EARL BROOKS
ALEXANDER CITY - Funeral service for Thomas Earl Brooks, 56, will be Saturday, Dec. 11, at 1 p.m. at Armour’s Memorial Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. B.D. Walton officiating. Burial will be in Armour’s Memorial Gardens in Alexander City.
Mr. Brooks died Dec. 6 at Jackson Hospital in Montgomery. He was born Aug. 15, 1948 in Tallapoosa County. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Wadean Herron Brooks.
He is survived by sisters, Carolyn Holley of Alexander City and Patricia Rutlin of Alexander City; and a host of other relatives.
Armour’s Memorial Funeral Home in Alexander City will direct the service.
JIM BOB BURKHEAD
ASHLAND - Funeral service for Jim Bob Burkhead, 77, will be Saturday, Dec. 11, at 2 p.m. at First United Methodist Church with the Rev. David Holmes officiating. Burial will be in Ashland City Cemetery
with graveside Masonic Rites.
Mr. Burkhead died Dec. 9 at his residence. He was a native and lifelong resident of Clay County. Prior to his retirement, he had been employed with Local 1192 as a millwright for 55 years. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and a member of Ashland Masonic Lodge No. 356 where he was a 33rd Degree Mason. He was a member of York Rite of Anniston and both Scottish Rite and Alcazar Temple of Montgmery and had been a member of First United Methodist Church of Ashland for 66 years. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Sharon Burkhead; his parents, Dee and Cora Burkhead; sisters, Oleta Hodnett and Ramona Lee; and brothers, Dee Burkhead Jr., Tom Burkhead and Bill Burkhead.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Annie Jo Burkhead of Ashland; daughter, Jocelyn B. Phurrough of Jacksonville, Fla.; son, Warren Burkhead of Ashland; sisters, Glenda Burkhead of Jay, Fla., and Sue Jerkins of Brewton; brothers, John Burkhead and Buddy Burkhead of Jay, Fla.; and one grandson.
Pallbearers will be Jean Nolen, Randy Royster, Joey Crawford, Steve Roberts, Greg Roberts, Freddie Thompson, Rusty Mattox and Earl McCay.
Honorary pallbearers will be members of Ashland Masonic Lodge No. 356, members of York Rite of Anniston and members of both Scottish Rite and Alcazar Temple of Montgomery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Ashland Masonic Lodge No. 356 Scholarship Fund, c/o Sanford Suggs, 42 Sardis Road, Ashland, Ala., 36251 or First United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 305, Asland, Ala.
The family will receive friends Friday from 6 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

OLEN DENSON
LINEVILLE - Funeral service for Olen Denson, 74, will be Friday, Dec. 10, at 2 p.m. at Barfield Baptist Church with Dr. Wayne A. Stevens and the Rev. Wayne Adams officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mr. Denson died Dec. 8 at Bill Nichols Veterans State Home in Alexander City. He was a native and lifelong resident of Clay County and was a veteran of the
Korean War, having served in the U.S. Army. He retired from Higgins Manufacturing Company after 40 years, was a farmer and was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Woodmen of the World and Barfield Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Will and Ursula Denson; and brothers, Robert Denson, J.W. Denson and Elvert Denson.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Foster Denson of Lineville; daughter, Lisa Porter of Lineville; son, Kenneth Denson of Lineville; sisters, Esther Upchurch, Lucille Dickinson, Willene Upchurch and Martha Moncus, all of Lineville; brother, Lindsey Denson of Lineville; and four grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Jerrold Denson, David Upchurch, Larry Upchurch, Gary Denson, Charles Denson, Steve Foster, Bobby Crenshaw and Doug Foster.
Honorary pallbearers will be Barfield Baptist Church Men’s Sunday School Class.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home until one hour before the service.
The body may be viewed at the church for one hour.
