TALLADEGA - Ophelia Nix, 77, of 910 Washington Avenue, died Nov. 7 at Citizens BMC.

PELL CITY - Funeral service for Roy Edward Patterson Sr., 79, will be Tuesday, Nov. 9, at 2 p.m. at Kilgroe Funeral Home chapel in Leeds. Burial will be in Mt. Hebron Cemetery.
Mr. Patterson died Nov. 7. He was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn Patterson.
He is survived by son, Roy Patterson Jr.; daughters, Renee Cash and Margaret Ann Fleming; brother, David Patterson Jr. (D.J.); good friend, Ina Glidwell; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

MILLERVILLE - Graveside service for J. Lewel Sellers, 103, will be Tuesday, Nov. 9, at 11 a.m. in Millerville Community Cemetery
with Rogert Hugh Giddens officiating.
Mr. Sellers died Nov. 6 at Talladega Health Care Center. He was born in 1901. He was a native and lifelong resident of Clay County, was a farmer and a teacher for several years. He had received his Teacher's Certificate at Jacksonville State University.
He is survived by daughters, Norma S. Williams of Northport, Colleen Kaat of Indianapolis, Ind., Elizabeth Riddle of Prattville and Bobbie Smith of Goodwater; son, Tommy Sellers of Millerville; 13 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Russ Williams, Marty Sellers, Tracy Riddle, Brian Riddle, Scott Smith and Ben Dowling.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home until service time.

BIRMINGHAM - Graveside service for Helen Brewer Vick, 78, will be Tuesday, Nov. 9, at 2 p.m. in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery
with the Rev. Tony McGrady officiating.
Mrs. Vick died Nov. 6 at Medical Center East.
She is survived by daughters, Debbie Horton of Marietta, Ga., and Lynn Brown of Pell City; sister, Vernell Jenkins of Sarasota, Fla.; two grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from noon until 2 p.m. at the funeral home.

LINCOLN - Funeral service for Ernest W. (Son) Vincent, 81, was Monday, Nov. 8, at 1 p.m. at Blue Eye Baptist Church in Lincoln with the Rev. Harold Hazel officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.
Mr. Vincent died Nov. 6 in Birmingham. He was a native and lifelong resident of Lincoln and a member of Blue Eye Baptist Church where he served as a deacon for 45 years, director of Sunday school, Sunday school teacher and church clerk. He was a member of the Cemetery
Board, a veteran of World War II having served in the European Theater of Operations. He was retired from Anniston Army Depot. He was preceded in death by his wife, Millie Vincent.
He is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Connie Vincent O'Dell and Mike of Lincoln; sons and daughters-in-law, Shannon Vincent and Mary of Lincoln and Kenneth Vincent and Charlotte of Lincoln; grandchildren, Debbie V. Johnson, Karron V. Dukes, Scott E. Vincent, Lorrie O'Dell, Ashley O'Dell, Maggie Bell and Matt Melton; five great-grandchildren; and sisters, Majorie Malone Pressley of Oxford, Bernice V. Wier of Leeds, Mary V. Blake of Franklin, Tenn., and Elizabeth Methvin of Cheyenne, Wyo.
Pallbearers were Tom Malone, Wayne Malone, Randy Tims, Roger Tims, James Pettis and Gary Vincent.
Honorary pallbearers were deacons and trustees of Blue Eye Baptist Church, Jimmy Mellon, Joe Sparks, Carter Foil, Dan Fisher, John Phillips and Norman Lowery.
Usrey Funeral Home in Talladega directed the service.

TALLADEGA - Funeral service for Bonnie Belle Wade, 90, will be Wednesday, Nov. 10, at 2 p.m. at Union T Baptist Church with Dr. Joe Brown, the Rev. Wayne Lackey and the Rev. Benny Hamlin officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Wade died Nov. 7 at her residence. She was a native and lifelong resident of Talladega County and was a member of Union T Baptist Church.
She is survived by daughters, Mrs. Jean Haynes of Eastaboga, Mrs. Judy Harvell, Mrs. Patricia Gaither and Mrs. Myra Jo Gaither, all of Talladega; sons, Mr. Ernest Burton of Nason, Ill., Larry B. Wade and Mr. Jimmy R. Wade of Talladega; sister, Mrs. Jewell Offord of Sylacauga; 24 grandchildren; 60 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6 until 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Ronnie Gaither, Glenn Wade, Anthony Haynes, Scottie Gaither, Charles Harvell, Jarrett Wade, Zaburn Burton and Tommy Burton.
Great-grandsons will serve as honorary pallbearers.

BONNIE JEAN CABINESS BEANE
SYLACAUGA - Funeral service for Bonnie Jean Cabiness Beane, 86, will be Saturday, Oct. 16, at 2 p.m. at Curtis and Son Funeral Home North chapel with the Rev. Todd Reaves officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery.
Mrs. Beane died Oct. 15 at Coosa Valley BMC. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers and sisters. She was a lifetime member of Mignon Baptist Church.
She is survived by nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Joe Owens, Howard Hill, David Wood, Harold Brooks, Jim Sanders and Cline Rhodes.

ESTHER MARIE DAVIDSON
ASHVILLE - Funeral service for Esther Marie (Bennett) Davidson, 81, will be Saturday, Oct. 17, at 7 p.m. at Usrey Funeral Home chapel in Pell City with the Rev. E. Martin Poe officiating.
Mrs. Davidson died Oct. 15 in Pell City. She was married to Stanley C. Davidson in 1943. In 1952 they moved to Dundee, N.Y., where they lived for 30 years. She was employed as a grape trimmer while living in the Dundee area. They retired to Florida where they lived for 21 years and had spent the past year living in Ashville with their oldest daughter and her family. Mrs. Davidson was of the Protestant faith. She loved to be outside and she enjoyed reading her Bible. She had a great love for her husband, children and family. She was a lifelong member of V.F.W. Auxiliary No. 4989 of Citra, Fla., and V.F.W. No. 10733 in Orange Lake, Fla. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Jean Marie Davidson; a brother, Robert Bennett; and by a grandson.
She is survived by her husband, Stanley C. Davidson of Ashville; daughters, Carol (Larry) English of Ashville, Wilma (Norma) Presher of Penn Yan, N.Y., Reta (Ralph) Trenchard of Dundee, N.Y., Amy (James) Wilson of Graceville, Fla., and Sarah (Wayne) Judge of Brasstown, N.C.; sons, Stanley F. Davidson of Ashland, Va., and Carl (Diana) Davidson of Wisconsin Rapids, Wisc.; sister, Verna M. Bennett of Dundee, N.Y.; brother, Herb Bennett of N. Las Vegas, Nev.; 14 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 5 until 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

in Sylacauga.
Mr. Harris died Oct. 14 in Sylacauga. He was preceded in death by his son, Kenneth Harris; and his parents, Lloyd and Gracie Harris. He was a member of Westview Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Margaret Harris of Sylacauga; sons, Kelvin Harris of Sylacauga and Dewayne Harris of Sylacauga; daughters, Linda Deason of Sylacauga, Karen Shaffer of Birmingham and Barbara Turner of Boaz; brothers, Jimmie Harris of Pell City and Earnest Harris of Albertville; sister, Glenda Vernon of Sylacauga; 11 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

LINEVILLE - Funeral service for Gulema Edmondson Vinson, 84, will be Sunday, Oct. 17, at 2 p.m. at Benefield Funeral Home chapel in Lineville with the Rev. Danny Rogers and the Rev. Dan Keith officiating. Burial will be in New Hope West Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Vinson died Oct. 15 at her residence. She was a native of Randolph County and had lived most of her life in Clay County. She had been employed with West Point Pepperell Mills in Valley and Russell Manufacturing Company in Alexander City where she retired. She was a member of New Hope West Baptist Church in Randolph County.
She is survived by daughters, Jettyrene V. Shortnacy of Lineville and Brenda Joyce Watson of Jackson's Gap; sons, Willard Wayne Vinson of Easley, S.C., and Danny R. Vinson of Alexander City; sister, Gladys Stroud of Dadeville; 16 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:30 until 8 p.m. Saturday and until service time on Sunday.
