ANNYE BEATRICE TURNER COX
TALLADEGA - Funeral service for Annye Beatrice Turner Cox will be Wednesday, Nov. 10, at 1 p.m. at Union Springs Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor Samuel Turner officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Cox died Nov. 4 at Regional Medical Center in Anniston. She was a native and lifelong resident of Talladega and a member of Union Springs Baptist Church where she served in many capacities. She also worked for the Department of Education in Randolph and Talladega counties for more than 30 years. She was preceded in death by her parents; and four brothers.
She is survived by daughter, Schreeda Johnson and husband Craig; two grandchildren, all of Menasha, Wisc.; sister, Essie T. Denson of Talladega; and a host of other relatives.
The body may be viewed at the church for one hour before the service.
Nephews and great-nephews will serve as pallbearers.
Deacons and trustees of Union Springs Missionary Baptist Church will serve as honorary pallbearers.
Sims Funeral Service will direct the service.
CASSIE MORRIS REYNOLDS
TALLADEGA - Funeral service for Cassie Morris Reynolds, 81, of 113 Jackson St., will be Wednesday, Nov. 10, at 1 p.m. at Terry's Metropolitan Mortuary chapel with the Rev. Clarence Henderson officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Reynolds died Nov. 4 at Ashville Health Care. She was a member of the Star of Zion African Methodist Episcopal of Zion Church. She was a graduate of Alabama State University, taught in the Talladega County School System for 34 years and was a member of the Talladega County Education Association, the Alabama Education Association, the National Education Association and the Retired Teachers Association of Alabama. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mark Reynolds; her parents, Henry Morris Sr. and Lilly Hallman Morris; and six siblings, Joseph, Ruby, Gladys, Henry Jr., James and Bertha.
She is survived by sister, Mary M. Baker of Orlando, Fla.; and brother, Herman Morris of Talladega.
Pallbearers will be Robert Gamble, Hayward Bibbs, Kenneth Lawson, Robert Treadwell, Ronald Bibbs, Henry Turner and Steven Sylvester.
Terry's Metropolitan Mortuary will direct the service.
BRENDA JOYCE BICE
PELL CITY - Funeral service for Brenda Joyce Bice, 61, will be Tuesday, Nov. 9, at 2:30 p.m. at Usrey Funeral Home chapel in Pell City with Brother Paul Brasher officiating. Burial will be in Broken Arrow Cemetery.
Mrs. Bice died Nov. 6 in Pell City. She was retired from the Pell City School System, was a member of New Hope Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her husband, Marion "Jr." Bice in 1989.
She is survived by son, Terry Bice of Pell City; daughters, Debby Powell (Ben) of Trussville and Vicki Oti (Jack) of Argo; sisters, Gloria Rowe of Pell City and Shirley Echols (Allen) of Pell City; brother, Alton Phillips (Mary Beth) of Pell City; grandchildren, Ashley, Adam, Brett, Angela, Amanda and Kaitlyn; and great-grandchild, Carlie Grace.
Pallbearers will be Craig Rowe, Eric Phillips, Adam Bice, Charlie Thomas, Brad Echols, Barry Hanvey, Curtis Gossett and John C. Thomas.
Usrey Funeral Home in Pell City will direct the service.

ASHVILLE - Graveside service for Lucille Burttram, 82, will be Tuesday, Nov. 9, at noon in Cool Springs Cemetery.
Mrs. Burttram died Nov. 6.
She is survived by sons, Larry Burttram and Danny Burttram; daughter, Kate Taylor; brothers, Roy Rogers and Ray Rogers; 13 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

TUSCALOOSA - Graveside service for Pauline Annette Franklin, 93, will be Thursday, Nov. 11, at 1 p.m. in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery.
Mrs. Franklin died Nov. 7 at DCH in Tuscaloosa. She was preceded in death by her husband, Willard Franklin; and a daughter, Anita Franklin.
She is survived by nephew, Wilfred W. Yeargan M.D.; and niece, Camille Naggier Williams.

GOODWATER - Funeral service for Hannah Gaddis will be Wednesday, Nov. 10, at 2 p.m. at Hatchett Springs Baptist Church in Goodwater with the Rev. Larry Truss officiating. Burial will be in Macedonia Memorial Gardens in Goodwater.
Mrs. Gaddis died Nov. 4 at University Hospital in Birmingham. She was born April 3, 1925 in Alabama. She was preceded in death by her parents, Sam Robbins and Susie Murray Robbins.
She is survived by daughter, Ida Smith of Goodwater; sons, Marcellius Robbins, Robert Louis Robbins and James Earl Gaddis of Goodwater; and a host of grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and other relatives.

SYLACAUGA - Jerry Malcolm Gissendanner, 57, died Nov. 8 at University Hospital.

MARTHA INEZ HANN
PELL CITY - Funeral service for Martha Inez Hann will be Tuesday, Nov. 9, at 1 p.m. at Ridout's Elmwood Chapel. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
Mrs. Hann died Nov. 6 at a local hospital after an extended illness with cancer. She was formerly of Huntsville. She was born on Nov. 19, 1935 and was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert L. Windham. She was a member of Sherwood Baptist Church of Huntsville and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She was a loving, caring wife, mother and grandmother. She had an unconditional love for her family and was always there when anyone needed her.
She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Ernest L. Hann; sons, Terry Hann of Huntsville and Mark Hann of Springville; sister, Louise W. Bourne of Madison; five grandchildren; one niece; and several cousins and many friends.

SYLACAUGA - Funeral service for Ethel Dorothy Harrison, 88, will be Tuesday, Nov. 9, at 11 a.m. at Curtis and Son Funeral Home North chapel with the Rev. Dean Harrison officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery
in Atlanta, Ga.
Mrs. Harrison died Nov. 7 at Coosa Valley BMC. She was preceded in death by her husband, David E. Harrison; and a son, Ronald D. Harrison; and great-grandchildren, Ashley Davis, Kristen Taylor Sims, Brook Simmons, D.J. McGinnis and Kevin C. Vines Jr.; and son-in-law, Leroy McGinnis.
She is survived by daughters, Michelle Messer of Sylacauga, Rebecca McGinnis Davis of Talladega, Laverne Pattillo of Sylacauga and Elizabeth Hurst of Georgia; 34 grandchildren; 71 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

PINSON - Funeral service for Betty J. Hodge, 69, was Monday, Nov. 8, at 2 p.m. at Holy Infant of Prague Catholic Church with Father William Lucas officiating. Burial was in Sunrise Memory Gardens.
Mrs. Hodge died Nov. 6. She was a member of Holy Infant of Prague Catholic Church in Trussville for 47 years and a member of the Women's Soldality Club. She was retired from the U.S. Post Office with 21 years of service. She was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd Benjamin and Mary Mae Colly Moore; and a brother, Jack Vandergrif.
She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Francis Eugene "Gene" Hodge; sons, Phillip Eugene Hodge, Jeffery Floyd Hodge, James Matthew Hodge and Brian Scott Hodge; daughters, Lou Marie Martin and Susan Diane Hackett; 16 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sisters, Margie Presley Gutherie and Peggy Faye Yancey; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Jefferson Memorial Trussville directed the service.

BIRMINGHAM - Funeral service for David Wayne Letlow, 48, will be Tuesday, Nov. 9, at 2 p.m. at Kilgroe Funeral Home chapel in Pell City. Burial will be in Blue Eye Cemetery
in Lincoln.
Mr. Letlow died Nov. 6 in Birmingham.
He is survived by daughter, April Nicole Letlow; son, David Wayne Letlow II; one grandchild; his mother, Lucy Letlow; his father, Hershel Letlow; and sisters, Shelia Letlow and Carmen McDaniel.

VINCENT - Funeral service for the Rev. Hiram "Skip" Mathews Jr., 58, will be Wednesday, Nov. 10, at 2 p.m. at Kilgroe Funeral Home chapel in Leeds. Burial will be in Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery.
The Rev. Mathews died Nov. 7.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Mathews; sons, Charles Mathews of Denham Springs, La., and David Mathews of Vincent; and three grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Tuesday at the funeral home from 6 until 8 p.m.
