ALBERT NELSON BUNT
PELL CITY — Funeral service for Albert Nelson Bunt, 62, will be Thursday, Sept. 30, at 2 p.m. at Usrey Funeral Home chapel in Pell City with the Rev. Doug Ford officiating. Burial will be in Macedonia Baptist Cemetery.
Mr. Bunt died Sept. 26 at his residence. He was a lifelong resident of St. Clair County and he served in the U.S. Navy where he had two deployments to Vietnam. He was preceded in death by his parents, Hershel and Etta Mae Bunt.
He is survived by his wife, Lois Bunt of Pell City; daughters, Amy Oden of Point Mugu, Calif., and Beth Bunt of Ragland; son, Phillip Bunt of Ragland; sister, Iva Mae Crump of Leeds; brothers, Billy Bunt of Ragland and Robert Bunt of Pell City; and six grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 9 a.m. until service time.
Pallbearers will be David Nixon, Doug Nixon, Kevin Oden, Johnathan Barksdale, Brady Bunt and Tony Bunt.
Usrey Funeral Home in Pell City will direct the service.

SYLACAUGA — Teresa Macon died Sept. 28 at her residence.

TEDDY CARLTON MITCHELL
PELL CITY — Funeral service for Teddy Carlton Mitchell, 78, will be Thursday, Sept. 30, at 2 p.m. at Kilgroe Funeral Home chapel in Pell City with the Rev. Zane Smith officiating. Burial will be in New Hope Cemetery.
Mr. Mitchell died Sept. 28. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Castleberry Mitchell and Annie Mae Owens Mitchell; one infant daughter, Jacqueline Mitchell; one infant son, Teddy Joe Mitchell; and one sister, Ruby B. Mitchell.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Jo Robertson Mitchell; sons, Timothy U. (Tracy Smith) Mitchell and Jeffrey T. Mitchell; sister, Florene Wages; and grandchildren, Krystin Brooke and Thomas Carlton Mitchell.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

LOTTIE IRENE WAITS
TALLADEGA — Funeral service for Lottie Irene Waits, 84, will be Thursday, Sept. 30, at 11 a.m. at Usrey Funeral Home chapel in Talladega with the Rev. Ottis Graves officiating. Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Central in Ebenezer Baptist Church Cemetery
in Douglasville, Ga.
Mrs. Waits died Sept. 27 at Talladega Heath Care Center. She was born in Talladega, lived in Ragland, moved to Douglasville, Ga., in 1948 and lived there until moving to Piedmont in 1974. She moved back to Talladega in 1989 and was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church in Douglasville. She was preceded in death by her husband, L.C. Waits; and one son, Larry Waits.
She is survived by daughters, Bobbie Jacksonmuns of Newport, N.C., and Chris Blankenship of Talladega; sister, Beatrice Pierce of Ohatchee; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be David Waits, Lloyd Johnson, Ronnie Wilson, William Wilson, Andy Wilson and Michael Hester.

SYLACAUGA — Funeral service for Teresa Landers Macon, 41, will be Friday, Oct. 1, at 2 p.m. at Radney-Smith Funeral Home chapel in Sylacauga with the Rev. Tommy Thornton officiating. Burial will be in Fayetteville Cemetery
in Sylacauga.
Ms. Macon died Sept. 28 after an extended illness. She was preceded in death by her father, Ed Landers; and her nephew, Justin Landers.
She is survived by son, Steven Shane Macon of Sylacauga; daughter, Angel Star Macon of Sylacauga; her mother, Brenda Faye Landers of Bon Air; brother, Eugene Landers of Weogufka; sisters, Denise Richardson and husband Mike of Sylacauga and Kendra Mooney and husband Michael of Sylacauga; and her special friend, Mike Waddle.
Pallbearers will be Allen Bassett, Chad Maness, Marty Embry, Mike Richardson, Greg Richardson and Michael Mooney.
Honorary pallbearers will be the Rev. Matt Hilyer and Dr. Russell Reeves.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 5 until 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

BILLY J. BAZEMORE
LEEDS — Funeral service for Billy J. Bazemore, 84, will be Friday, Oct. 1, at 11 a.m. at Kilgroe Funeral Home chapel in Leeds. Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery.
Mr. Bazemore died Sept. 29. He was a veteran of World War II, retired from Anderson Square after 46 years of service and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Leeds.
He is survived by his wife, Nettie Bazemore; son, John Bazemore; daughter, Tina Patricia Unrau; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Friday from 10 until 11 a.m. at the funeral home.

ALPINE — Annie Curry, 85, of 11379 Renfroe Road, died Sept. 29 at Citizens BMC.

CHILDERSBURG — Robert L. Hall, 66, of 362 Evergreen Lane, Childersburg, died Sept. 29 at his residence.

FERN W. HOOVER
ANNISTON — Funeral service for Fern W. Hoover, 85, will be Thursday, Sept. 30, at 2 p.m. at First United Methodist Church of Anniston with the Rev. Bobby Green and the Rev. Woodfin Grove officiating. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery.
Mrs. Hoover died Sept. 28 in Oxford. She was a native of Eastaboga and lived in Anniston for most of her life. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Anniston where she was in the Carre Sunday School Class. She was also a member of the Bridge Group. She was preceded in death by a grandson; a brother; and six sisters.
She is survived by her husband, John L. Hoover of Anniston; son, John W. Hoover of Alexandria; sister, Evon Cassity of Oxford; and one grandchild.

SYLACAUGA — Funeral service for Charles Murphy Jr., 77, will be Thursday, Sept. 30, at 2 p.m. at Radney-Smith Funeral Home chapel in Sylacauga with the Rev. Tommy Reaves officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery
in Sylacauga.
Mr. Murphy died Sept. 28 at Coosa Valley BMC. He was a member of Marble City Baptist Church and served in the U.S. Navy and U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict.
He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Sara Murphy of Sylacauga; sons, Frank Morgan of Sylacauga, Keith Morgan of Sylacauga and David Morgan of Hollywood, Fla.; daughters, Linda Morgan Farley of Helena, Tammy Murphy Salter of Sylacauga and Vicki Murphy Crowe of Sylacauga; sister, Ruth Whittington of Pensacola, Fla.; nephews, B.B. McCaa and Buddy Murphy; niece, Gail Hahn; 10 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

SYLACAUGA — Funeral service for Howard Clark Roberson, 78, will be Friday, Oct. 1, at 12:30 p.m. at Radney-Smith Funeral Home chapel in Sylacauga with the Rev. Todd Reaves officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery
in Sylacauga.
Mr. Roberson died Sept. 29 in Sylacauga. He was a deacon at Mignon Baptist Church and was a member of Weogufka Masonic Lodge and Woodman of the World. He owned Roberson Supermarket for some 20 years. He was active in the Coosa County Senior Citizens Center. He was preceded in death by his wife, Grace Jewelene Roberson.
He is survived by his wife, Dera White Roberson of Sylacauga; sons, David Roberson and wife Sunny of Sylacauga and Austin Roberson and wife Jenny of Alexander City; daughter, Jean Campbell and husband Harvey of Sylacauga; brother, Kermit Roberson of Indiana; sisters, Louise Epperson of Childersburg and Odell Harwell of Childersburg; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
