DOROTHY MAE MALLORY KELLEY
HARPERSVILLE — Funeral service for Dorothy Mae Mallory Kelley, 61, will be Thursday, Aug. 12, at noon at Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Harpersville with the Rev. Clarence C. Carter officiating. Burial will be in Harpersville Cemetery.
Mrs. Kelley died Aug. 7 at Brookwood Medical Center. She was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Memphis Kelley of Harpersville; daughters, Valerie D. Kelley of Childersburg and Paulette Kelley of Harpersville; three grandchildren; brother, Homer Mallory of Columbiana; sisters, Virginia L. Mallory and Lonzie E. Mallory of Columbiana; and a host of other relatives.
Mt. Olive Male Chorus will serve as pallbearers.
Friends of the family will serve as flowerbearers.
The family will receive friends Wednesday at the funeral home from noon until 9 p.m.
The body may be viewed at the church for one hour before the service.
Community Funeral Home will direct the service.

PATTERSON, N.J. — Graveside service for Mattie Edmond, formerly of Goodwater, will be Thursday, Aug. 12, at 11 a.m. in Macedonia Memorial Gardens in Goodwater.
She is survived by a host of relatives.

CHILDERSBURG — Graveside service for Lee Roy (Buck) Keeton, 79, will be Thursday, Aug. 12, at 11 a.m. in Greenhill Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Bill Gwathney officiating.
Mr. Keeton died Aug. 9 at Russell Hospital. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the Army. He was a native of Walker County and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Childersburg.
He is survived by sons, John Keeton, Stephen Keeton and Michael Keeton of Childersburg; daughter, Enid Carol Mize of Glencoe; brothers, Brien Keeton of Jasper, Ferrell Keeton of Sylacauga and Charles S. Keeton of Sylacauga; sisters, Glenda Thornton, Myra Crumpton and Janis Hutchinson of Sylacauga; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Curtis and Son Funeral Home Childersburg Chapel will direct the service.

TALLADEGA — William Shepherd, 51, died Aug. 9.

EASTABOGA — Funeral service for Lois W. White, 79, will be Thursday, Aug. 12, at 11 a.m. at Eastaboga Baptist Church with the Rev. Rodney Prickett and the Rev. Jimmy Dean officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mrs. White died Aug. 9 at Regional Medical Center. She was a lifelong resident of Eastaboga and was a long time member of Eastaboga Baptist Church. She was a member of the Joyful Servants Sunday School Class and worked at Palm Beach for more than 25 years.
She is survived by daughter, Merry Lee Gauntt of Eastaboga; sons, Ronald White of Eastaboga and Donald White of Madison; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 5 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
The body may be viewed at the church for one hour before the service.
Pallbearers will be Joe White, Tommy White, Michael Bline, Steve White, Jimmy H. White and Franklin White.
Honorary pallbearers will be the Joyful Servants Sunday School Class of Eastaboga Baptist Church.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Eastaboga Baptist Church Building Fund.

WILLIAM SHEPHERD
TALLADFEGA — Funeral service for William Shepherd, 51, will be Saturday, Aug. 14, at 1 p.m. at New Maryland Baptist Church in Alpine with the Rev. Stanley Threatt officiating. Burial will be in New Maryland Church Cemetery.
Mr. Shepherd died Aug. 9 at his residence. He was a lifelong resident of Talladega County. He confessed to Christ at an early age and joined the New Maryland Baptist Church in Alpine. He was preceded in death by his father, Fred Shepherd; and brothers, Richard Shepherd and Fred Shepherd Jr.
He is survived by his mother, Sarah Shepherd of Talladega; sons, Adrain Fuller and Eric Fuller of Childersburg and Batarus Hill of Florida; daughter, Sandra Fuller of Childersburg; sisters, Jessie Garrett, Harriett Welch and Doris Johnson of Childersburg and Marietta Shepherd and Elizabeth Holtzclaw of Talladega; brothers, Robert Shepherd of Alpine, Jerry Shepherd of Sylacauga, Andrew Shepherd of Talladega and Albert Shepherd of Childersburg; special friend, Mahalia Jemison; eight grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Friends of the family will serve as pallbearers and flowerbearers.
The body may be viewed Friday at the funeral home from 2 until 6 p.m. and at the church for one hour before the service.
Childersburg Mortuary Service will direct the service.

CHILDERSBURG — J.T. Foster, 91, of 233 15th Ave. S.W., died Aug. 11 at Sylacauga Health Care Facility.

BILLIE ANN McKINNEY
ASHLAND — Funeral service for Billie Ann McKinney, 40, will be Friday, Aug. 13, at 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church in Ashland with the Rev. Bruce Willis officiating. Burial will be in Clay County Memory Gardens.
Miss McKinney died Aug. 11 at Citizens BMC in Talladega. She was a native and lifelong resident of Clay County and was a member of First Baptist Church in Ashland and the Redeemed Sunday School Class. She was preceded in death by her father, William (Bill) McKinney.
She is survived by her mother, Emma Jean McKinney; sisters, Angelia Kerr of Ashland and Rita Rushing of Macon, Miss.; one nephew; and one niece.
Pallbearers will be Johnny Upchurch, Dale Rush, Mike Kerr, Tim Worthy, Gary Wayne McKinney, Timmy McKinney, Randy Braswell, Stan Gaither, Jimmy Watts, Danny Lovelady and Warren Barley.
Members of the Redeemed Sunday School Class will serve as honorary pallbearers.
The family will receive friends beginning at 6:30 p.m. Thursday until service time Friday.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to First Baptist Church in Ashland.
