TIMOTHY SHANE WATTS ARTHUR
MUNFORD — Funeral service for Timothy Shane Watts Arthur, 16, will be Sunday, Aug. 8, at 2 p.m. at Salt Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. Curtis Collett officiating. Burial will be in Salt Creek Baptist Cemetery
in Munford.
Mr. Arthur died Aug. 5 at his residence. He was a native of Anniston and lived most of his life in Munford. He was a member of Salt Creek Baptist Church and attended Munford High School. He loved the outdoors and was an avid race fan. He was preceded in death by his brother, Jonathon Robert Watts Arthur.
He is survived by his mother, Pamela Arthur of Munford; his father, Frankey Arthur of Munford; sister, Angelica Arthur of Munford; and grandparents, James F. Arthur Sr. and Betty L. Arthur of Munford.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 4 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Jamin Hoover, Erick Tucker, Adam Tucker, Bill Waldrop, Robert Tucker and Michael Holt.
Honorary pallbearers will be Leonard Ray King, Tommy King and Allen Edwards.
Usrey Funeral Home in Talladega will direct the service.

BEVERLY, N.J. — James O. Guinn Jr. (Rebel), 79, died July 25 at his residence.
He was born in Talladega and lived in New Jersey many years where he was a self-employed air condition and refrigeration repairman. He was a retired U.S. Air Force veteran of World War II and Korea which he had served 20+ years. He was preceded in death by a son, Bob Guinn.
He is survived by his wife, Gloria Guinn (Merrell); daughter, Carol Kipybida (Tom) of Sylacauga; grandchildren, John Stidfole (Michelle), Carolyn Stewart (Ron), Stephan Stidfole, Jason Guinn (Cheri), Jamie Kozulovic (Danny); and great-grandchildren, Brett Stidfole, Brittney Stidfole, Stephen Stewart and Kendall Stewart.

WILLIAM EDWARD SWINFORD
MUNFORD — Funeral service for William Edward "Billy" Swinford, 66, will be Saturday, Aug. 7, at 3 p.m. at Usrey Funeral Home chapel in Talladega with the Rev. Randy Howell and the Rev. Mike Foreman officiating. Burial will be in Munford Memorial Cemetery
in Munford.
Mr. Swinford died Aug. 5 at his residence. He was a native of Calhoun County and had lived in Talladega County most of his life. He was a Baptist by faith and was president and CEO of Cheaha Construction. He was a member of I.B.E.W. Local 136, a member of Munford Water Board and was a 1955 graduate of Munford High School. He served in the U.S. Navy and was preceded in death by a son, Joe Swinford; his parents, Ray and Katie Swinford; and a brother, Joe Swinford.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy M. Swinford of Munford; daughter, Sherry Smith of Lincoln; son, Jackie Swinford of Munford; brothers, James Swinford and Terry Swinford of Munford; sisters, Patricia Blackerby and Bonnie Ponder of Lincoln and Shirley Haynes, Brenda Drafahl and Nancy Waters, all of Munford; grandchildren, Katie Swinford, Linda Hazel, Kris Smith and Shawn Smith; and three great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Joe Swinford Scholarship Fund at Munford High School, P.O. Box 602, Munford, Ala., 36268.
Pallbearers will be Cecil Swinford, Gerald Swinford, Wayne Swinford, Lynn Swinford, Gene Swinford and David Swinford.

PELL CITY — Funeral service for William Allen Weaver Jr., 47, will be Monday, Aug. 9, at 10 a.m. at Usrey Funeral Home chapel in Pell City with the Rev. Bobby Parker officiating. Burial will be in St. Clair Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Weaver died Aug. 5 in Birmingham. He was employed as a sales representative by Metal Products of Alabama. He was a member of Leeds American Legion and was preceded in death by his parents, Dorothy and William A. Weaver Sr.
He is survived by his wife, Wanda Weaver of Pell City; daughter, Jessica Nicole Weaver of Pell City; sons, Nathan Weaver of Homewood and Jessie Walker of Jacksonville; stepdaughter, Jennifer Honeycutt of Pell City; stepson, Johnathan Honeycutt of Homewood; sisters, Anne, Dot, Selena and Chartrice; and grandchildren, Adam Galvan of Pell City, Kaylie Honeycutt of Moody and Ethan Galvan of Pell City.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 5 until 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Nathan Weaver, Jessie Walker, Larry Franklin, Michael T. Clements Jr., Johnathan Honeycutt, Chris Sloan and Mark Bennett.

Mrs. Williams died Aug. 5. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbur N. (Squeaky) Williams.
She is survived by daughter, Gail W. (Bill) Graham; son, Larry N. Williams; three grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

MARY IDA KIDD EMBRY
CINCINNATI — Funeral service for Mary Ida Kidd Embry, 80, was Saturday, July 31, at Groesbeck Church of Christ with Brother John Starks officiating. Burial was in Crown Hill memorial Park in Cincinnati.
Mrs. Embry died July 26 in Cincinnati.
She was formerly of Talladega.
She is survived by two sons, Robert Embry of Cincinnati and Leon Embry of Fairfield Glades, Tenn.; one brother, John Kidd of Talladega; three sisters, Katie Kidd Eliza Stockdale of Talladega and Louise Butler of New York; five grandchildren; 13 grandchildren; and a host of other relatives.
Thompson Hall and Jordan Funeral Home directed the service.

MONTGOMERY — Funeral service for Oliver J. Arnold, 81, will be Sunday, Aug. 8, at 2 p.m. at Curtis and Son Funeral Home North Chapel with the Rev. Tim Wilson officiating. Burial will be in the Stewartville Church of God Cemetery.
Mr. Arnold died Friday, Aug. 6, at Crowne Health Care of Montgomery.
He was a veteran of World War II.
He was preceded in death by two sons, Jimmy Leon Arnold and Stevie Arnold, and one daughter, April Arnold.
He is survived by two sons, Phillip Arnold of Mobile and Rocky Arnold of Montgomery; two sisters, Betty Gallups of Sylacauga and Annie Mae Johns of Sylacauga; three brothers, Frank Arnold of Sylacauga, Fred Arnold of Montgomery and J.L. Arnold of Hartselle; and several grandchildren.
Nephews will be pallbearers.
Curtis and Son Funeral Home North Chapel will direct the service.
