LORENE STEVENS BARBER
TALLADEGA — Funeral service for Lorene Stevens Barber, 77, will be Sunday, April 25, at 2 p.m. at Talladega Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Parnell Aldridge officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Barber died April 23 at Talladega Health Care Center. She was preceded in death by her husband, the Rev. James Barber. She was a native of Blountsville and had been a resident of Talladega for the past 57 years. She was a retired textile worker and was a member of First Freewill Baptist Church of Talladega.
She is survived by daughters, Patricia Sanders and Betty Morrison of Talladega; sons, Larry Barber of Maumelle, Ark., Kenneth Barber of Grayson, Ga., and Michael Barber of Talladega; sisters, Willene Gilliland of Talladega, Laverne Hayes of Locust Fork and Carol Woods of Blountsville; brothers, Lynn Bryson of Mississippi and Howard Stevens of Blountsville; 14 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Brent Cline, Brian Davis, Brett Barber, Lee Parker, Bobby Sanders and Shay Sanders.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 6 until 9 p.m.
Talladega Funeral Home will direct the service.

ASHLAND — Funeral service for Lillie B. Allen, 90, will be Saturday, April 24, at noon at Benefield Funeral Home chapel in Ashland with the Rev. Richard East officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Allen died April 22 at Clay County Hospital. She was a native of Tallapoosa County and had lived most of her life in Clay County. She was a homemaker and a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Emra Allen.
She is survived by sister, Edna Thompson of Goodwater; and a host of nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home until service time.

BEN ANGWIN
ODENVILLE — Funeral service for Ben Angwin, 76, will be Sunday, April 25, at 2 p.m. at Low Gap Methodist Church. Burial will be in Low Gap Cemetery.
Mr. Angwin died April 23. He was a barber for more than 50 years including Pell City, Springville and Moody (The Hair Hut). He was a member of Low Gap Methodist Church in Odenville.
He is survived by his wife, Faye (Riddle) Angwin; son, Benjamin Angwin; daughter, Elizabeth Angwin Harris; sisters, Evelyn Seigler, Ruth Beloney and Betty Ann Blackburn; and one grandchild.
The family will receve friends Saturday from 5:30 until 9 p.m.

MONROE, N.C. — Funeral service for Janie Mackenzie, 55, formerly of Clay County, will be Sunday, April 25, at 2 p.m. at Oak Grove Methodist Church with the Rev. Margaret Knight officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Mackenzie died April 22 at her residence. She was a native of Clay County and was a 1966 graduate of Lineville High School. She had taken courses in horticulture and was a Master Gardener. She was preceded in death by her mother, Margaret Marie Patterson; sister, Carol Shelton; and niece, Kathy Taylor.
She is survived by her husband, Stuart Mackenzie of Monroe, N.C.; her father, Joseph Durward Patterson of Jenkinsburg, Ga.; sisters, Patsy and husband Curtis Haynes of Jacksonville, Linda and husband Garry Cline of Snellville, Ga., Marilyn and husband Lowell Magown of Marbury and Beth and husband Tim Hall of Jenkinsburg, Ga.; brothers, Bruce and wife Sandy Patterson of Ashland and Michael and wife Donna Patterson of Jenkinsburg, Ga.; aunt, Harriet Whitmore of Alexandria, Va.; and several nieces and nephews.
Nephews will serve as pallbearers.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Susan G. Komen Breat Cancer Foundation, 5005 LBJ Freeway, Suite 250, Dallas, Texas, 75224.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 5 until 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

LINEVILLE — Funeral service for Myrtice Marie McGraw, 89, will be Saturday, April 24, at 2 p.m. at Benefield Funeral Home chapel in Lineville with the Rev. Gordon Taylor and the Rev. Zenus Windsor officiating. Burial will be in Lineville City Cemetery.
Mrs. McGraw died April 22 at Lineville Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was a native of Clay County where she had lived most of her life and had lived in Randolph County until 1938. She had been employed with Brecon in Talladega for a number of years, was a homemaker and a member of Spring Hill Christian Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walker McGraw; parents, J.O. and Eulalia Lashley; brother, Rex Lashley and John Lashley; two grandsons; and one great-grandson.
She is survived by daughters, Dot Lancaster of Decatur, Ga., and Dianne Parker of Jonesboro, Ga.; sons, Leonard McGraw of Douglasville, Ga., Joe McGraw of Winston, Ga., and James McGraw of Lineville; 14 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; three nieces; one nephew; one great-niece and one great-nephew.
Pallbearers will be Harry Lancaster, Len McGraw, Lee McGraw, Joedy McGraw, Joel McGraw, Brian Parker, Jerry Meek and Jim Hawkins.
Honorary pallbearers will be Steve McGraw, Robin Thompson, Karen White, Drenda Rigdon, Wanda Cheek, Tammy Meek, Amy Fergason, Lisa Parker, Larry Buchanan and the staff of Lineville Health and Rehabilitation Center.

ODENVILLE — Funeral service for Grady A. Peoples, 87, will be Saturday, April 24, at 2 p.m. at Kilgroe Funeral Home chapel in Leeds. Burial will be in New Lebanon Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mr. Peoples died April 22.
He is survived by daughters, Laura Surles and Linda Campbell; sons, Curtis Peoples and Lewis Peoples; sisters, Bonnie Jordan, Shirley Davis and Dennie Jackson; 13 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

O.W. RAYFIELD
WEOGUFKA — Funeral service for O.W. "Dude" Rayfield, 89, will be Saturday, April 24, at 3 p.m. at Weogufka First Baptist Church with the Rev. David Mann and Dr. Charles Moore officiating. Burial will be in Old Weogufka Baptist Cemetery
in Weogufka.
Mr. Rayfield died April 22. He was preceded in death by his wife, Laverne Rayfield. He was a lifetime member of Weogufka First Baptist Church and retired from Avondale Mills in 1979 after some 40 years of service.
He is survived by sons, Dwight Rayfield (Ouida) of Sylacauga, Sonny Rayfield (Linda) of Sylacauga and Charles Rayfield of Weogufka; daughters, Juanita Rayfield Shell of Goodwater and Kathy Brewer (Jack) of Sylacauga; brother, Cleo Rayfield of Warrenton, Ga.; eight grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
Flowers will be accepted for contributions may be made to Weogufka First Baptist Church, P.O. Box 161, Weogufka, Ala., 35183.
Pallbearers will be Jason Blankenship, Josh Lowe, Brian Rayfield, Tristan Vickers, David Vickers and Gabe Stewart.

WILLIAM B. SEWELL
TALLADEGA — Funeral service for William B. "Bill" Sewell, 69, will be Sunday, April 25, at 2 p.m. at Talladega Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. Mike Foreman officiating. Burial will be in Midway Memory Gardens.
Mr. Sewell died April 23 at his residence. He was a native of Clay County and had lived in Talladega County for the past 66 years. He was a former owner of Sewell Construction Company for some 30 years. He was a veteran of the United States Army and was a member of Talladega Creek Baptist Church.
He is survived by daughter, Debbie Gober of Northport; brother, Charley T. "Jake" Sewell of Talladega; stepmother, Louise Sewell of Talladega; grandchildren, Jessilyn, Tyler and Zach Gober; and special friend, Venyard Williams of Talladega.
Pallbearers will be Gary Taylor, Rickey Jones, Allen Senn, Wayne Sherbert, Ivan Fuller and Ronald Mattox.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 5 until 8 p.m.
The body may be viewed at the church for one hour before the service,
