ALFRED GOVER FULMER
TALLADEGA — Funeral service for Alfred Gover Fulmer, 87, of Talladega will be Monday at 11 a.m. at Usrey Funeral Home Chapel in Talladega with the Rev. Johnny Jordan officiating. Burial will be in Hepzibah Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mr. Fulmer died Feb. 13 at Citizens Baptist Medical Center in Talladega.
He was a native and lifelong resident of Talladega. He was the former pastor of Shiloh United Methodist Church. He retired from the U.S. Postal Service after 37 years of service. He was a member of Masonic Lodge, a World War II veteran, and was very involved with youth groups at Concord United Methodist Church where he was a member.
He is survived by his wife, Evelyn Fulmer of Renfroe; two daughters, Faye (Joe) Bishop of Cedar Bluff, and Judy (Tommy) Griffin of Talladega; one son, Blake (Emily) Fulmer; seven grandchildren, Robbie Bishop, Kelli Hallmark, Mandy Grace, Steve Fulmer, Beth Zeimet, Scott Griffin and Jay Griffin; nine great-grandchildren, Jeffrey Bishop, Taylor Bishop, Mallory Grace, Ashley Kate Grace, Cole Grace, Wes Fulmer, Reed Fulmer, Mary Elizabeth Griffin and Hillari Hallmark.
Pallbearers will be Lemuel Styres, Raymond Styres, Zane Sherman, Alton Bates, Richard Fulmer and Donald Wesson.
Honorary pallbearers will be Scott Griffin, Jay Griffin, Steve Fulmer and Robbie Bishop.
Visitation will be Sunday from 3 to 5 p.m. at Usrey Funeral Home.

GAIL HUBBARD
TALLADEGA — Funeral service for Gail S. Hubbard, 48, of Renfroe will be Monday at 3 p.m. at Hepzibah Baptist Church with Dr. Randy Hagan officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Hubbard died Feb. 13 at her residence.
She was a native and lifelong resident of Talladega. She was a member of Hepzibah Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday school for 2- and 3-year-olds.
She is survived by her husband, Walter Hubbard of Renfroe; one son, John Crad Hubbard of Renfroe; one sister, Brenda Lawson of Talladega; and one brother, Michael Shaddix of Talladega.
Pallbearers will be Joe Tom Armbrester, Wayne Armbrester, Stanley Cook, Terry Martin, Wayne Mellon and Joe Watts.
Flowers will be accepted or donations can be made to Hepzibah Baptist Church Building Fund.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Sunday at Usrey Funeral Home in Talladega.

WANDA SUE JOHNSON
DADEVILLE — Funeral service for Wanda Sue Johnson, 51, of Dadeville will be Monday at 1 p.m. at Sardis Baptist Church with the Rev. George Pulliam officiating. Burial will be in the Dadeville City Cemetery.
Mrs. Johnson died Feb. 11 at her residence.
She is survived by four children, Valarie (Andre) Tolbert and Lecolya (Rex) Johnson both of Alex City, and Robert Ford Jr. of Brooklyn, N.Y., and Michael Johnson Jr. of Wadley; her mother, O.V. Canada of Dadeville; one brother, Cecil Canada of Dadeville; eight grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

ROBERTA McCAULEY
OXFORD — Funeral service for Roberta McCauley, 87, of Oxford will be Monday at 1 p.m. at Rocky Mount Baptist Church in Oxford with the Rev. Stevie Houston officiating. Burial will be in Jennifer Cemetery
in Munford.
Mrs. McCauley died Feb. 11 at the Regional Medical Center in Anniston.
She was a lifelong resident of Alabama and a member of the Rocky Mount Baptist Church, where she was a member of the adult choir and president of the Missionary Society.
She is survived by two sisters, Elsie Towns of Gary, Ind., and Willie Mae Phillips of Hobson City.

INFANT JAYDEN OWENS
SYLACAUGA — Funeral service for infant Jayden Brooke Owens, 19 days old, of Sylacauga, will be Monday at 1 p.m. at Curtis and Son Funeral Home North Chapel with the Rev. Leon Washburn officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery.
The infant died Feb. 14 at Coosa Valley Baptist Medical Center.
He is survived by his father and mother, Joseph and Amy Owens of Sylacauga; brother, Jakob Owens of Sylacauga; and grandparents, Jennifer and Paul Childers of New Hope, and James Owens of Sylacauga.
Pallbearers will be Adam Edwards and James Owens Jr.
Honorary pallbearers will be Jakob Owens and Jordan Helm.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. at Curtis and Son Funeral Home North Chapel.

CHARLES STATON
ANNISTON — Funeral service for Charles E. Staton, 79, of Anniston will be Monday at 1 p.m. at New Hope Baptist Church in Hobson City with the Rev. Gus Orr officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Gardens in Anniston.
Mr. Staton died Feb. 11 at Regional Medical Center in Anniston.
He was a lifelong resident of Blount County and a member of the Peace and Goodwill Baptist Church. He was a Boy Scout Master and on the Hobson City Town Council and was Police Commissioner. He was a master Mason and a member of Pride of Hobson City Lodge No. 695.
He was a member of the Hobson City Senior Citizens. He served in World War II and the Korean conflict. He retired as a corporal with the U.S. Army military Police.
He is survived by his wife, Dora Staton of Anniston; two sons, Charles Staton of Denver, Colo., and Sherman Staton of Hobson City; two daughters, Deborah Staton of Jacksonville, and Susan Johnson of Huntsville; one sister, Johnnie Hamby of Pinson; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Deacons from Peace and Goodwill and New Hope Baptist churches will be pallbearers.
Anniston Funeral Service will direct the service.

LINCOLN — Jon M. Taylor of Lincoln died Feb. 13 at Medical Center East in Birmingham.

TALLADEGA — Funeral service for John B. Tucker Sr., 90, of Bradenton, Fla., will be Monday at 1:30 p.m. at Usrey Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Rob Paul officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Tucker died Feb. 13 in Bradenton, Fla.
He was a native of Talladega. He lived in Talladega most of his life and was a resident of Bradenton, Fla., for the past eight years. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Rotary Club and the VFW. He was a veteran of World War II, and the owner and operator of Quality Laundry and Dry Cleaners.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Sue Williams Tucker and granddaughter, Alexi Tucker.
He is survived by one son, John Tucker Jr. of Brandenton, Fla.; one daughter, Susan McNeeley of Lexington, Tenn.; and two grandsons, J.B. Tucker and Tyler McNeeley.
Visitation will be Monday from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

SARAH NELL TURNEY
SYLACAUGA — Funeral service for Sarah Nell Turney, 74, of Sylacauga will be Monday at 10 a.m. at Curtis and Son Funeral Home North Chapel with the Rev. Jimmy Abrams officiating. Burial will be in Weogufka Methodist Cemetery.
Mrs. Turney died Feb. 13 at her residence.
She was a member of Eastern Star. She said first and foremost, "Teach your children about Jesus."
She is survived by her husband, Gerald Turney of Sylacauga; one daughter, Lanell (Jerry) Sims of Sylacauga; two sons, Mark Gilbert Turney of Harrisburg, Pa., and Timothy Gerald (Cristi) Turney of Sandersville, Ga.; one brother, Aldon Gilbert of Cleveland; five grandchildren, Nathaniel Soren, Benjamin Soren, Abigail Soren, Jerry Sims III, and Anthony Sims; three great-grandchildren, Matthew Sims, James McLelland and Zachary McLelland; and a host of other nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Sunday from 5 to 8 p.m. at Curtis and Son Funeral Home North Chapel.
