HENRY CRAWFORD BEAN
PELL CITY — Funeral service for Henry Crawford Bean, 83, was Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Usrey Funeral Home chapel in Pell City with the Rev. Roger Kendrick officiating. Burial was in St. Clair Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Bean died Feb. 7 at his residence. He was a retired self-employed automobile body repairman and was a member of Pell City Golden Age Club.
He is survived by sisters, Juanita Hall of Warren, Mich., Jean Shirley of Killeen, Texas, Thelma Bean of Pontiac, Mich., and Della Greib of Vincent; and several nieces and nephews.
Usrey Funeral Home directed the service.
GRACE E. FOSTER
MUNFORD — Funeral service for Grace E. Foster, 100, of 167 Foster Lane, will be Friday at 1 p.m. at Shady Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. C.M. Henderson officiating. Burial will be in Jenifer Community Cemetery.
Mrs. Foster died Feb. 4 at her residence.
She is survived by daughters, Annie Pearl Moss of Detroit, Mich., Gladys Nell Jefferson of Chicago, Ill., and Ollie Walker, Mae G. Cross and Missouri Caver of Munford; sons, the Rev. Hugh Foster of Birmingham and Larry Foster of Houston, Texas; 43 grandchildren; 117 great-grandchildren; 46 great-great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives.
Masons will serve as pallbearers.
Grandsons will serve as honorary pallbearers.
The body may be viewed at the church for one hour before the service.
Sims Funeral Service will direct the service.

CLINTON LAMAR THOMAS
TALLADEGA — Funeral service for Clinton Lamar Thomas, 68, will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at Usrey Funeral Home chapel in Talladega with the Rev. George Smitherman officiating. Burial will be in Midway Memory Gardens in Talladega.
Mr. Thomas died Feb. 10 at his residence. He was a native and lifelong resident of Talladega County and was a member of Antioch Baptist Church. He was a retired auto technology instructor at Talladega High School and was a member of the Retired Teachers Association. He was preceded in death by a son, Douglas Thomas; and three brothers, Lovell Thomas, Travis Thomas and Darrell Thomas.
He is survived by his wife, Jewel D. Thomas of Talladega; daughter, Connie Gaither of Munford; sisters, Faye Bryant and Margie Feazell of Lenior City, Tenn.; brothers, Franklin Thomas of Oxford and Jimmy Thomas of Talladega; six grandchildren, Jeffery Lamar Thomas, April M. Wood, Amy Clark, Clint McNeal, Nolan Yates and Dianne Rich; and four great-grandchildren.
Nephews will serve as pallbearers.
Usrey Funeral Home will direct the service.

LINCOLN — Funeral service for Ilee G. Groce, 82, of 266 Dry Valley Road, will be Saturday at noon at Rushing Springs Baptist Church with the Rev. Clarence Woodard officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Groce died Feb. 6 at Medical Center East. She was educated in the DeKalb, Miss., School System. She was a member, usher, Sunday school worker and a member of the Missionary Society of Rushing Springs Baptist Church, where she was crowned "Mother of the Church" in May 2000. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Groce; her parents, Ben Carey Greer Sr. and Frances C. Tisdale Greer; two brothers, S.C. and Ozzie; a sister, Lonnie; and a son, Douglas Charles.
She is survived by daughter, Margaret E. Moton of Lubbock, Texas; son, Stephen Groce of Lincoln; sisters, Maggie Williams of Chicago, Ill., Essie Mae Ingol of Leeds and Dollye Bell Lemons of Lincoln; brothers, Johnny Greer and Ben Carey Greer of Lincoln; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be John Leroy Greer, Omega Pearson, Jerry Greer, Marshall Smoot, Cornell Sullen and Johnny Clark.

RUTH NAOMI WILSON JOHNSON
TALLADEGA — Funeral service for Ruth Naomi Wilson Johnson, 88, of 1 Mountainview Apartments, will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Wilsonville with the Rev. Troy Holley officiating. Burial will be in Wilsonville Community Cemetery.
Mrs. Johnson died Feb. 7 at Talladega Health Care Center. She was a life member of First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Johnson Sr.; her parents, Ocie Wilson and Ella Herron Wilson; four children, Ruben Willie Johnson, Martha Lollar, Clarence "C.W." Johnson and Frank Johnson Jr.; sisters, Gertrude Walker, Annie P. Brazier, Johnnie Shepherd and Ola Kathy; and brothers, Charlie Wilson, William Wilson, Ruben Wilson and Thomas Wilson.
She is survived by granddaughters, Christine Hughes of Chicago, Ill., Dianne Youngblood of Vincent and Elisa Johnson of Talladega; grandsons, David Johnson of Montevallo, Clarence Lee Johnson of Vincent, Eddie Karl Johnson of Pell City, Willie Johnson Jr. of Anniston and Henry Kelow of Birmingham; and 24 great-grandchildren.
Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
