JAMELLE C. OLIVER
TALLADEGA — Funeral service for Jamelle C. Oliver, 54, will be Friday at 2 p.m. at Midway Memory Garderns Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Freddie Edwards and Freddie Jones officiating. Burial will be in Midway Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mrs. Oliver died Dec. 10 at Citizens Baptist Medical Center.
She was a native of Miami and had lived in Talladega County for the past 25 years. She was Independent by faith. She was preceded in death by her father, William P. Clark.
She is survived by her husband, Lloyd T. Oliver of Talladega; her mother, Mavis C. Clark of Lincoln; and one brother, Kenneth Daniel Clark of Lincoln.
Pallbearers will be Lane Searcy, Terry Tomlin, Roy Gravette, Freddie Jones, Morris Searcy and Beau Mullins.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 6 until 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Midway Memory Gardens funeral Home will direct the service.

Mr. Davis died Dec. 10.
He is survived by several cousins.

ANNISTON — Edward Grier, 68, died Dec. 10 at Regional Medical Center.

DENNIS L. PEARSON
OXFORD — Funeral service for Dennis L. Pearson, 80, will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at Harvest Church of God with the Rev. Jerry Irwin, the Rev. O.V. Sewell and the Rev. W.H. Ford officiating. Burial will be in Forestlawn Gardens.
Mr. Pearson died Dec. 9 at his residence. He was a native of Winston County, moved to Calhoun County in 1951 and was a member of Harvest Church of God, where he served as a trustee. He was a World War II veteran and was retired from Anniston Army Depot.
He is survived by his wife, Lamuriel Pearson of Oxford; daughters, Vicky Norris of Anniston and Jan Gooden of Oxford; son, Hal Pearson of Riverside; brother, Tom Pearson of South Carolina; sister, Stella Mae Lee of Huntsville; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Junior Eunice, Aaron Taylor, Randy Stamps, Greg Gossett, Chris Gooden and Dennis Pearson.
Members of the Senior Adult Sunday School Class at Harvest Church of God will serve as honorary pallbearers.
Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to the Building Fund at Harvest Church of God.
Miller Funeral Home will direct the service.

GROVES, Texas — Funeral service for Katherine H. Roberts, 87, will be Saturday, Dec. 13, at 1 p.m. at St. Peter's Episcopal Church in Talladega with the Rev. Robert Blackwell officiating.
Mrs. Roberts died Nov. 29 at Christus St. Mary's Hospital in Port Arthur. She was born June 30, 1916, in Birmingham, was a former resident of Chicago, Ill., and Talladega. She had lived in Groves for the past five years. She was a member of St. Peter's Episcopal Church in Talladega. She was also a longtime member of the Central School PTA and also belonged to the local chapter of Daughters of the American Revolution. She was a direct descendent of Arthur Middleton, a signer of the Declaration of Independence in 1776. She was a member of the Delta Omicron Sorority and a classical music DJ for a local radio station for a number of years. She received her degree from the Chicago Conservatory School of Music. She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis Wells Hall and Katherine Burt Forney; her husband, Dr. Edward H. Roberts; and a granddaughter, Michelle Powell.
She is survived by her children, Kate Noble Roberts Powell of Virginia, Edward H. Roberts Jr. of Talladega, David Hall Roberts M.D. of Talladega, Jennifer Suzanne Roberts Fairchild of Groves, Texas, Jean Middleton Roberts Tate of Talladega and Duncan MacGlaughin Roberts of Tuscaloosa; 10 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Saturday, Dec. 13, at 11 a.m. at the church parish hall.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in her honor to the Katherine Roberts' Fund for Animals, P.O. Box 765, Groves, Texas, 77619 or to St. Peter's Episcopal Church in Talladega.
Usrey Funeral Home in Talladega will be in charge of local arrangements.
Broussard's Mortuary, Nederland, will direct the service.
DONNA LEAH MITCHELL SCHMOHL
LEEDS — Funeral service for Donna Leah Mitchell Schmohl, 46, will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Kilgroe Funeral Home chapel in Leeds. Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery.
Mrs. Schmohl died Dec. 9. She was a member of Hunter Street Baptist Church, was a member of Leeds Garden Club and received her master's degree from UAB. She was a nurse for 24 years.
She is survived by her husband, Richard Gordon Schmohl; daughter, Leah Michell Schmohl; son, Jonathan Schmohl; her mother, Mary Evelyn Mitchell; brothers, Bart Mitchell and Ross Mitchell; and sister, Alicia Teed.
Kilgroe Funeral Home in Leeds will direct the service.
