TALLADEGA — Joyce Johnson, 45, died Nov. 2 at Baptist Medical Center Montclair in Birmingham.

LEEDS — Funeral service for Peggy Cline Knight, 69, will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at First Assembly of God in Leeds. Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery.
Mrs. Knight died Nov. 3. She was a member of First Assembly of God Church and was employed by Jefferson County School System and Leeds School System for 25 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Knight.
She is survived by daughters, Cindy Brasher and Tracy Hallford; son, Randy Knight; brother, George Cline; and four grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6 until 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

SYLACAUGA — Funeral service for Vera Mae Mayes, 68, will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Radney-Smith Funeral Home chapel in Sylacauga.
Mrs. Mayes died Nov. 3 at Carraway Methodist Medical Center in Birmingham.
She is survived by daughters, Barbara Nieves and Patsy Dunn of Bon Air, Carolyn Lightsey of Dadeville and Alicia Whitlsey of Jasper; sons, Rickey Roland of Talladega and Billy Roland of Columbiana; stepdaughters, Susie Shoemaker and Burnice Mayes of Lewisburg, Ky.; stepsons, Bobby Mayes of Madison, Ky., Brian Mayes of Lewisburg, Ky., and Jeff Mayes and Jimmy Mayes of Morgantown, Ky.; sisters, Marie Thrasher of Birmingham, Janie Houston of Tuscaloosa, Ruby Fay Miller of Nevada and Gladys Guthrie of Jasper; brothers, Jamed Edward Downey of Haleyville and Henry Downer of Jasper; 31 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

CROPWELL — Funeral service for Robert Andrew McRee, 67, will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church with the Rev. James Blair officiating. Graveside service will be at 1 p.m. in in Elmwood Cemetery.
Mr. McRee died Nov. 2 at his residence. A member of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church and a veteran of the
Korean War, he was a beloved husband, father and grandfather.
He is survived by his wife, Diane McRee; one son, Joe Rogers and wife Cyndi of Dalton, Ga.; one daughter, Missy Miller and husband Phillip of Trussville; four grandchildren, Chelsea and Houston Miller and Austin and Anna Grave Rogers; and a brother-in-law, Joe Cox.

PELL CITY — Graveside service for Fannie "Jack" West Owen, 78, will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. in Coosa Valley Cemetery
with the Rev. Larry Morgan officiating.
Mrs. Owen died Nov. 2 at her residence. She was a long time resident of Pell City and was a member of Friendship Freewill Baptist Church. She owned and operated her own beauty shop for many years in Pell City. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dee and Rosalee West and a brother, Bob West.
She is survived by her husband, Hubert Owen; daughters, Sundra Munoz of Orlando and Celeste Owen Riddle of Scottsboro; sister, Mary Davis of Atlanta, Ga.; grandchildren, Harold Holly Jr. and Christy Holly Craton; and great-grandchildren, Devin Lee and Hunter Craton.

He is survived by sisters, Etta Edgeworth, Wanda Tray and Sherry Miller; brothers, John E. Williams and Larry Z. Williams; and several nieces and nephews.

GOODWATER — Funeral service for Diedre "Dre" F. Caldwell, 25, will be Friday at 1 p.m. at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church in Goodwater with the Rev. Melvin Ervin officiating. Burial will be in Macedonia Cemetery
in Goodwater.
Mr. Caldwell died Nov. 23 at Russell Medical Center in Alexander City. He was born Jan. 7, 1978, in Tallapoosa County to Dallas E. and Mary Lee McKinney Caldwell.
He is survived by his wife, Tiffany Jones Caldwell of Atlanta, Ga.; daughters, Maya Everett of Goodwater and Taylor Caldwell of Atlanta, Ga.; his parents, Dallas E. and Mary Lee Caldwell of Goodwater; sister, Shonda Jones of Alexander City; brothers, Roelando (Lan) Caldwell of Georgia and Jason Kelley of Goodwater; his grandmother, Frances Caldwell of Indiana; and a host of other relatives.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Funeral service for Barbara Annette Riggins Clower, 67, will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Curtis and Son Funeral Home North chapel with the Rev. Todd Reaves officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery.
Mrs. Clower died Nov. 23 at Summit Medical Center in Nashville, Tenn. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Abbas Pashai and William Clower; and her parents, Hoyal Riggins and Essie Mae Riggins. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Mt. Juliet. She was a language teacher for 25 years overseas.
She is survived by son, Jeff Pashai of Miami Beach, Fla.; daughter, Gina Tippie and husband Steve of Mt. Juliet, Tenn.; sister, Dot Harris and husband Linwood of Sylacauga; grandchildren, Lauren and Peston Tippie; and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Michael Taylor, Steve Tippie, Greg Minor, David Harris, Roger Harris and Paul Minor.

TALLADEGA — Graveside service for Dorothy Woods Davidson, 82, was Tuesday at 3:30 p.m. in Liberty Cemetery
in Clay County with the Rev. Randall Ingram officiating.
Mrs. Davidson died Nov. 23 at Talladega Health Care Center. She was a native of Clay County and lived in Talladega most of her life. She was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, M.L. Davidson, and a son, Harold Purvis Davidson.
She is survived by brother, Jerry Woods of Anniston; grandchildren, Melissa Hardin, Amanda Thomas and Hal Davidson, all of Talladega, and Michael Davidson of Mobile; and seven great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mt. Olive Baptist Church.
Pallbearers will be Hal Davidson, Michael Davidson, Jimmy Hardin, Mathew Hardin, Carlos Davidson and Charles F. Davidson.

Mr. Edwards died Nov. 25 at his residence. He was preceded in death by his grandson, James Lorne Edwards; four brothers and two sisters. He was a member of Sycamore Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Ressie Edwards of Alpine; son and daughter-in-law, Robert Earl Edwards and Patsy Edwards of Sylacauga; daughter and son-in-law, Judy Knox and Jerry Knox of Prattville; son, James Leroy Edwards of Alpine; sisters, Margaret Bearden of Sylacauga and Mary Jane Beasley of Liberty, Texas; grandchildren, Teresa Stinson of Prattville, Jason Lowell Edwards of Sylacauga and Carla Jayne Chappell of Sylacauga; and great-grandchildren, Dallas Prescott of Prattville, Haley Prescott of Prattville, Matthew Chappell of Sylacauga and Christine Chappell of Sylacauga.

Mr. Gray died Nov. 24.
He is survived by his wife, Virginia A. Gray of Wattsville; daughter, Terrie Dickey of Ragland; son, Tony Gray of Wattsville; sister, Francis Gray Martin of Miami, Fla.; four grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
