NAOMI O. FARR
CHILDERSBURG — Funeral service for Naomi O. Farr, 88, of Childersburg, will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at St. Andrews United Methodist Church with the Rev. Sonny Champion and the Rev. John Cosby officiating. Burial will be in Greenhill Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Farr died Oct. 25 at Coosa Valley Baptist Medical Center in Sylacauga. A member of St. Andrews United Methodist Church, she was retired from the lunchroom at Watwood Elementary School.
She is survived by three nieces, Sandra Butts, Dennise Edmiston and Rene Willowby; and four nephews, Mack Owens, Jerry Owens, Wilbur Owens and Shellie Tanner.
The family will receive friends Monday from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Curtis and Son Funeral Home Childersburg Chapel.

MORGANTON, N.C. — Laura Jennings, 85, of Morganton, N.C., formerly of Sylacauga, died Saturday at Brenthaven Nursing Home.

PELL CITY — Funeral service for Lilly Lucile Macon, 90, of Pell City, will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at Kilgroe Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Coosa Valley Cemetery.
Mrs. Macon died Oct. 24. She was preceded in death by her husband, Grover Lee Macon, and by her brothers and sisters Inez Macon, Henry Pettus, James Pettus, Lilly Caldwell, Bernie McCombs and James E. Pettus.
She is survived by one sister, Margie Forbus of Ashland, and a host of nieces and nephews.

SYLACAUGA — Funeral service for Susan Elaine Samuels, 46, will be Monday at 11 a.m. at Curtis and Son Funeral Home North Chapel with Fred Brooks officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
Mrs. Samuels died Oct. 24 at Baptist Medical Center Montclair in Birmingham.
She is survived by her mother and step-father, Edna Samuels Munroe and Al Munroe of Goodwater; two brothers, Paul Samuels of Marble Valley and Phillip Samuels of Goodwater; one sister, Robin Russell of Goodwater; three nieces and four nephews.
Pallbearers will be Jeremy Samuels, Jonathan Samuels, Jared Samuels, Adam Russell, Blake Self and Deryl Munroe. Honorary pallbearers will be Eddie Ezekiel, Hank Bullard and Greg Connell.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Curtis and Son Funeral Home North Chapel.

MUNFORD — Graveside service for Danny Smith, 58, of Munford, was Saturday at 2 p.m. at Hillcrest Cemetery
in Munford with Rev. Wayne Eaton officiating.
Mr. Smith died Oct. 22 at Carraway Methodist Medical Center in Birmingham. A native and lifelong resident of Talladega, he was a self-employed mechanic. He was preceded in death by his father, James D. Smith, a brother, Anthony Smith, and a grandson, Shawn Smith.
He is survived by his wife, Ellen Smith of Talladega; one son, Clifford Smith of Talladega; four sisters, Stella Haynes of Talladega, Sarah West of Ashville, N.C., Kathy Thomas of Talladega and Stacie Smith of Munford; his mother, Mary Lois Smith of Munford; and several nieces and nephews.
Honorary pallbearer will be Johnny Martin.
Usrey Funeral Home directed the service.

CASEY WYNELLE ARNETTE
DECATUR, Ga. — Graveside service for Casey Wynelle Arnette, 73, will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. in Alpine Cemetery
in Alpine with Dr. Larry Morris officiating.
Miss Arnette died Oct. 26 at Decatur Hospital. She was a native of Talladega County and was a resident of Decatur, Ga., for the past 33 years. She was retired from Dekalb County Motor Maintenance Department. She was a member of Alpine Baptist Church. She lived in Washington, D.C., working for the FBI and then Red Stone Arsenal. She loved working in genealogy.
She is survived by sisters and brother-in-law, Troy Marie Pruitt and Patsy and Bobby Lee Hubbard of Alpine; longtime friend, Bessie M. Prince of Decatur, Ga.; and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be William Parks, David Parks, Harold Pruitt, Bruce Pruitt, Donald Brannon, Buddy Milam, Scott Milam, Phillip Smith and Glenn Dillard.
The family will receive flowers or donations may be made to Alpine Baptist Church, P.O. Box 32, Alpine, Ala., 35014.

TALLADEGA — Graveside service for Perry Emmitt Bradford, 65, of 6111 Stemley Bridge Road, will be Wednesday at noon in Ragland Cemetery

Mr. Bradford died Oct. 24 at Talladega Health Care Center.

ASHLAND — Robert L. Crumb, 51, died Oct. 28 at Clay County Hospital.

LINEVILLE — Funeral service for Harold O. Ford, 73, will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Benefield Funeral Home chapel in Lineville with the Rev. L.C. Harris officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mr. Ford died Oct. 27 at Lineville Health and Rehab Center. He was a native of Clay County, was a former resident of West Point, Miss., and moved back to Clay County in 1994. He was retired from Tennessee Valley Authority after more than 30 years of service. He was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Union, Local 852 in Corinth, Miss. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Clinton and Amanda Dollar Ford; and sisters, Mary Elizabeth Mitchell Tidwell, Dorothy Williamson and Eulene Ford.
He is survived by daughter, Amanda Ford of Memphis, Tenn.; sister, Audrey Owen of Gadsden; and brothers, W.C. Ford Jr., James A. Ford and Kermit Ford, all of Lineville.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 5:30 until 8 p.m. and until service time Thursday.

CYNTHIA D. HAMILTON
SYLACAUGA — Graveside service for Cynthia D. Hamilton, 79, will be Wednesday at noon in Crestwood Cemetery
with the Rev. Jack Smith officiating.
Mrs. Hamilton died Oct. 27. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Sylacauga and was employed by Beaunit Fibers of Childersburg for 19 years. She was a wonderful cook and homemaker. She always strived to put family first and she loved board games and camping. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Fanny Davis, two brothers and a sister.
She is survived by son, Thomas H. Hamilton of Sylacauga; daughter, Sherry H. Smith of Cropwell; sister, Margaret Young of Childersburg; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Family will serve as pallbearers.
Nurses and staff at Sylacauga Health Care will serve as honorary pallbearers.
Friends will meet family at the graveside Wednesday for the service.
Crestwood Funeral Home in Gadsden will direct the service.

MUNFORD — George H. Lathem, 74, died Oct. 28 at Regional Medical Center in Anniston.

VINCENT — Funeral service for Homer Lee Martin, 87, will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Macedonia North Baptist Church with the Rev. Arzell Hyche, the Rev. Charles Card and the Rev. Ron Reed officiating. Burial will be in Macedonia North Cemetery.
Mr. Martin died Oct. 27 at his residence. He was a veteran of World War II and was a member of Macedonia North Baptist Church. He retired from the Vincent post office as a rural mail carrier with 21 years of service.
He is survived by daughters, Yvonne Clinkscales (Nolen) and Gloria Maxine Martin of Vincent and Brenda Skinner (Sammy) of Alabaster; sons, Lowell Martin (Susan) of Westover and Gaylon Martin (Katherine) of Vincent; 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and sisters, Sarah Cuninghame and Betty Mehaffey (Loyd).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Building Fund at Macedonia North Baptist Church, 37 Highway 468, Vincent, Ala., 35178.
Pallbearers will be Mike Clinkscales, Timothy Lowe, Sammy Skinner Jr., Pete Cochran, Mark Clinkscales, Seth Martin, Patrick Coleman and Jeffrey Sims.
The body may be viewed at the church for one hour before the service.

SYLACAUGA — Funeral service for Lettie Cleckler Hattaway Smith, 93, will be Thursday at 10 a.m. at Radney-Smith Funeral Home chapel in Sylacauga with the Rev. Wesley Higginbotham officiating. Burial will be in New Hope Cemetery
in Clanton.
Mrs. Smith died Oct. 28 at Mountain View Lake Retirement Village in Sylacauga. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Baxter Smith and J.P. Hattaway. She was a member of Five Points Baptist Church and her hobbies were working in her yard, gardening and needlework.
She is survived by son, Howard Douglas Hattaway of Sylacauga; grandchildren, Karen Simmons of Sylacauga, Teresa Vigueras of Memphis, Tenn., David Hattaway of Biloxi, Miss., and John Hattaway of Sylacauga; and great-grandchildren, Alex Jacobs of Demopolis and Juliana Vigueras of Memphis, Tenn.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 5 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
