Smith, Leila Ineal, age 101, of Lansing, Michigan died Wednesday, June 23, 1999. She was formerly of Fairfield, AL. She was born on May 7, 1898 in Hamden, AL, the daughter of Thomas and Carlean (Colston) Anderson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Moses, Sr. in 1981; her son, Moses, Jr. in 1968, and her daughter Helen Green in 1993. Funeral services will be Tuesday, June 29, at 12:00 noon at First Baptist Church Fairfield with burial at Elmwood Mausoleum. Rev. Robert Twyman will be officiating. Family hour will be at the church from 11:00 a.m. until time of service. McFerrin, Mr. Earred A., age 94, of Bessemer, died Sunday, June 13, 1999. He was a life time member of Oak Grove First Baptist Church. Sides, Mr. Robert "Wayne", age 77, of East Lake, AL, died June 26, 1999. He was a member of Lakewood Baptist Church for 69 years and loved his pastor, church family and Sunday School class. He was an Air Force Veteran of WWII. He retired from the U.S. Postal Service with 33 years of service. Mr. Sides was preceded in death b y his wife, Mina Sides. Survivors include his brother, Jesse Gilder Sides of Jemison, AL; special friends, Mr. and Mrs. James R. "Red" Keith of Crestwood. Yarbrough, Mr. Howard Lee, age 56, of Atlanta, passed away Sunday, June 27, 1999. He was a member of Graysville First Baptist Church, former employee of THE BIRMINGHAM NEWS, and presently was a property owner and manager in Atlanta. He was preceded in death by his father, Lonnie Lee Yarbrough. Funeral services will be held on Tues day, June 29, at 3:00 p.m. in the Bell Forestdale Chapel with burial in Midway Cemetery. Rev. Peggy Sanderford will officiate. He is survived by his mother, Barbara Yarbrough of Graysville; sister, Lonna (Steve) Odom of Birmingham; brothers, Randy (Beth) Yarbrough of Vestavia and Doug Yarbrough of Birmingham; nephew, Lee Yarbrough of Vestavia; life-long friend, Joe Alderman of Atlanta.
