Kelsoe, Mrs. Virginia Harrison, age 83, of Mountain Brook, AL died June 6, 1999. She was a retired school teacher. Mrs. Kelsoe was a graduate of the University of Alabama and Samford University. She was a member of the Palisades Church of Christ. She was also a member of the American Association of University Women, Zonta Club and the Beta Sigma Phi Society. She is survived by her husband, John R. Kelsoe; son, Dr. John R. Kelsoe Jr. (Kelly) of San Diego, CA; grandchildren, Katy Kelsoe and Jacob Kelsoe; sister, Dorothy Middlebrook of Clearwater, FL. Johnson, Mr. Warren, age 77 of Birmingham, AL died June 6, 1999. He was a Christian and a lifetime member of Huffman Baptist Church. He was a Veteran of WW II. He was a foster parent to 25 children and raised four of his own. He was owner and CEO of Johnson Sales Company in Birmingham. He was commissioned as an Honorary Deputy Sheriff in l983 by former Sheriff Melvin Bailey. He was preceded in death by his son, Scott Johnson. He is survived by his wife, Janie Johnson; sons, Phillip Johnson and Barry Johnson, all of Birmingham; daughter, Carol Johnson Rexford of Newnan, GA; seven grandchildren, Melanie, Joy, Kelly, Christy, Sara, Valerie, and Emily.
