Morris, Leslie Jr., age 69, of Hueytown, AL, died Saturday, April 24, 1999. He had been in ill health for five years. Mr. Morris was retired from US Steel. Funeral services will be Tues day, April 27, 1999, at 1:30 p.m. at Brown Service Funeral Home-West Chapel in Hueytown, with burial at Highland Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Monday, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. He was preceded in death by his father, Leslie Morris. He is survived by: his wife of 45 years, Betty Morris; daughters, Susan Moore (Terry), Sharon Long Jordan, Lisa McDaniel (Roger); his mother, Vera Morris; sisters, Imogene Posey, Chesteen Legrone; grandchildren, Michelle Hampton, Michael Danna, Justin Long, Joshua Moore; and great-grand child James Hampton. Martin, Lecil Gray, age 73, of Cordova, AL., died April 24, 1999. A welder, he was the son of the late George H. and Margie Martin. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 27, 1999, at 2:00 p.m. at New Horizon Memorial Chapel with burial at Wells Celestial Gardens, Sumiton, AL. Rev. Cecil Lee Madison, Jr. officiating. Cole, Pamela Lauree Johnson, Oct. 16, 1955-June 5, 1999 Pamela was born to Mr. Lewis Johnson, Jr., and Mrs. Geraldine Jones Johnson Naves in Birmingham. Early in life she united with St. Luke African Methodist Episcopal Church. Educated in the Birmingham School System, she attended Hudson Elementary School, Carver High School, Miles College, Lawson State Community College, Alabama State University and the University of Alabama-Birmingham. Pamela was employed by the Birmingham School System; she taught at Spaulding Elementary School. She was married to Mr. Gregory C. Cole of Bessemer. She was a member of Allen Temple African Methodist Episcopal Church of Bessemer. Pamela is survived by her husband, Gregory C. Cole; father, Lewis Johnson, Jr.; mother, Geraldine Jones Johnson Naves; brothers, Lewis John son, III and Harold Naves; sister, Adriene Johnson; mother-in-law, Leah K.
