Herbert M. McClamy, a pharmacist for over 40 years, died Thursday at a local hospital. He was 81.
McClamy was a native of Zimco and a resident of Jackson. He was a member of Forest Avenue Baptist Church and was the founder of Mac's Drugs in Jackson.
Survivors include his wife, Frances McClamy of Jackson; two daughters, Suzanne Browning of Jackson and Jeanne Wickell of Saraland; one sister, Marie Sullivan of Jackson; and three grandchildren.
Visitation will be today for 1 p.m. until the 3 p.m. funeral at Forest Avenue Baptist Church in Jackson. Burial will be in Trinity Memorial Gardens in Jackson.
Memorials may be made to the Forest Avenue Building Fund or the Alabama Baptist Children's Home.
Arrangements are being made by Lathan Funeral Home in Jackson.
John Burton Walker Jr.

John Burton Walker Jr., a former accountant with Texaco, died Thursday in Bay Minette. He was 86.
Walker, a native of North Carolina, was a resident of Atmore.
Survivors include his wife, Alicia Walker of Atmore; and two sisters, Luvena Marks and Collene Hastings, both of Atlanta.
Visitation will be today from 10 a.m. until the 10:30 a.m. service at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home in Atmore. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.

Cleve Millard Mooney, a retired farmer, died Thursday at an area hospital. He was 88.
Mooney, a native of Conecuh County, was a resident of Pine Orchard, where he had lived most of his life.
He was a member of Pine Orchard Methodist Church.
Survivors include one son, Milton Mooney of Pine Orchard; two daughters, Gloria Luker of Frisco City and Gwen Ryland of Andalusia; one brother, Ed Mooney of Evergreen; two sisters, Ardell McGraw of Evergreen and Pat Brown of Repton; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
The service is set for 11 a.m. Saturday at Johnson Funeral Home on Monroeville. Burial will be in Pine Orchard Methodist Cemetery.
Jewell Verlene Still

Jewell Verlene Still, a homemaker, died Thursday in a hospital. She was 89.
Still was a native of Stone County, Miss., and a resident of Epworth, Ala.
Survivors include one son, James Still of Epworth; two daughters, Mavis Hollinghead of Millry and Sue Ford of Kushla; two sisters, Bonnie Rae Breland of Wiggins, Miss., and Kathryn White of Theodore; seven grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 tonight at Lathan Funeral Home in Chatom. The funeral is set for 11:30 a.m. Sunday at South Oak Grove Baptist Church in Fruitdale. Burial will be in Grimes Cemetery in Epworth.
Marilyn Farmer Walton

Marilyn Farmer Walton, a retired office manager for Architectural Engineering, died August 8. She was 72.
Walton was a native of Tallapoosa, Ga., a former resident of Mobile and a resident of Centre, Ala.
Survivors include one daughter, Janet Mertel of Centre; one brother, John Farmer of Huntsville; one sister, Donna Garner of Dallas, Ga.; one grandchild; and two great-grandchildren.
The funeral was Aug. 10 at Perry Funeral Home Chapel in Centre.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.

Dollie E.T. Howard, who had retired from Ingalls Shipbuilding, died Thursday at her home. She was 60.
Howard was a native and resident of Mobile.
Survivors include five children, James Wesley Tolbert, Patricia Hollingsworth, Brandy Corn and Wanda Norman, all of Mobile, and Theresa Sennett of Washington; five siblings, Danny Ray Foster, Bud Foster, Eunice Hayes, Barbara Wheeler and Jane Wilson, all of Mobile; 18 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be today from 9 a.m. until the 11 a.m. service at Gilmer's Funeral Home on West Zeigler Circle. Burial will be in Pierce Creek Cemetery.

William C. Jaynes, a residential carpenter and member of Westview Baptist Church, died Sunday at an area hospital. He was 54.
Jaynes was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran and former merchant mariner. He was a native of Ruleville, Miss., and a resident of Grand Bay.
Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Jo S. McArthur and Dolan R. McArthur of Grand Bay; his father and stepmother, Curtis J. Jaynes and Minnie D. Jaynes of Orange, Texas; four sisters, Katherine J. Hamner of Collierville, Tenn., C. Renee Jaynes of Mobile, Rebecca J. Landry of Coden and Patricia J. Gregory of Bridge City, Texas.
Visitation will be today from 10 a.m. until the 11:30 a.m. funeral at Higher Ground Baptist Church in Irvington. Burial will be in Serenity Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are by Serenity Funeral Home on Old Pascagoula Road.

Charles Patrick Kelly, a native of Theodore and a resident of Mobile, died Sunday at his home. He was 46.
Kelly was a member of Sheet Metal Workers Union Local 441.
Survivors include four children, Charles Patrick Kelly Jr. of Mobile, Jonathan Kelly of Chatom, Talena Diane Kelly of Irvington and Crystal Danielle Kelly of Mobile; his father, Melvin Patrick Kelly of Mobile; four siblings, Peter Joe Kelly of Mobile, Stanley Wayne Kelly of Irvington, Linda Darlene Kelly of Boston and Rita Marie Kelly of Theodore.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Gilmer's Funeral Home on West Zeigler Circle, where the service is set for 10 a.m. Thursday. Burial will be in Serenity Memorial Gardens.
