Reynalds Edward Haas, a native of Mobile and a resident of Rockledge, Fla., since 1965, died Aug. 26 at his home. He was 65.
Haas graduated from McGill-Toolen High School and attended Auburn University and then Spring Hill College.
Survivors include his wife, Kathleen Thomas Haas of Rockledge; two sons, Alexander Frank Haas of Jacksonville, Fla., and Reynalds Andrew "Drew" Haas of Chicago; three daughters, Edith "Dee" Haas of Houston, Kathleen Haas Ellis of Rockledge and Suzanne Haas Dininny of Cocoa, Fla.; two sisters, Susie Iturbe and Martha Hill, both of Mobile; one brother, Frank Haas of Fairhope; and four grandchildren.
A memorial service took place Wednesday at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Rockledge. Atlantic Mortuary handled arrangements.
Memorials may be made to Wuesthoff Brevard Hospice, 8060 Spyglass Hill Road, Viera, FL 32940; or to St. Mary's Catholic School in Rockledge.

Robert L. Herndon, a resident of Lincoln, Neb., who was raised in Mobile, died Tuesday. He was 20.
Herndon was an apartment manager. He attended Southeast Community College and was a member of First Christian Church, both in Lincoln.
Survivors include his mother, Brenda Herndon Beard of Frankfort, Ind.; one sister, Amy Herndon; and his grandmother, Viva Herndon, both of Lincoln.
Visitation was Friday at Wadlow Rozanek Funeral Home in Lincoln. The funeral is set for 11 a.m. today at First Christian Church in Lincoln. A graveside service is set for 4 p.m. Sunday in Fairview Cemetery in Smith Center, Kan. Memorials may be made to First Christian Church.
Virginia Ricketts Hopkins Powers

Virginia Ricketts Hopkins Powers, a native of Amherst County, Va., and a resident of Warsaw, Va., died Thursday in Warsaw. She was 94.
Survivors include two daughters, Peggy H. Johnson of Fredericksburg, Va., and Ellen H. Rhinehart of Yorktown, Va.; two sons, Joseph A. Hopkins of Mobile and John R. Hopkins of Oak Grove, Va.; 10 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
A memorial service is set for 2 p.m. Sept. 11 at St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Millers Tavern, Va. Private burial take place in Forest Lawn Cemetery in Richmond, Va., with Marks-Bristow Funeral Home in Tappahannock, Va., directing.
Memorials may be made to a favorite charity.

Lois Black, a member of Holy Church of God, died Monday at a local hospital. She was 69.
Miss Black was a lifelong resident of Mobile. She served as an usher at her church.
Survivors include four children, Raymond Black of Grand Bay, Dannie Black of Atlanta, Ricky Black of Mobile and Patrick Black of Miami; three brothers, Bishop W.C. Betts, Widmon Betts and Carlis Betts, all of Mobile; two sisters, Eva Bryant of Atlanta and Mattie Robinson of Cleveland; 14 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be from 3 to 5 p.m. today at Jackson Funeral Home on North Cody Road. Visitation will be Saturday from 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. funeral at Holy Church of God, 2115 Demetropolis Road. Burial will be in Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens.

Raymond Joseph Connolly, a native of Penn Square, Pa., and a resident of Mobile, died Thursday at an area hospital. He was 81.
Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth Connolly of Mobile; three sons, Raymond Joseph Connolly Jr. of Colorado, Bryan E. Connolly of South Carolina and Ward S. Connolly of California; six grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.

Herbert Ray Davis Sr.

Herbert Ray "Herb" Davis Sr., a lifelong resident of Mobile County, died Sunday at an area hospital. He was 70.
Davis, who had retired from International Paper Company, was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Korean War.
Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Nancy T. Davis of Saraland; three children, Pamela Davis Coggin, Angela Davis Richard and Herbert Ray Davis Jr., all of Mobile; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 tonight at Radney Funeral Home in Saraland. A graveside service will be noon Saturday at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
Leslie Colvin Hannon

Leslie Colvin Hannon, an orthotist in the Orthopedic Appliance business, died Saturday at an area hospital. He was 51.
Hannon was a native of Houston and a resident of Mobile.
Survivors include one daughter, Catherine Hannon of Houston; his parents, Dr. and Mrs. Kenneth Hannon; one brother, William Hannon II; and one sister, Sally Richards, all of Mobile.
A private memorial service will be today. Arrangements are being made by Radney Funeral Home on Dauphin Street.

Corina Kirksey, a resident of Mobile, died Aug. 26, at a local hospital. She was 70.
Survivors include her husband, Charles Kirksey; six children, Dorothy Barren, Linda Murray, Charles Kirksey Jr., Gregory Kirksey, Gale Taylor and Glen Kirksey; and one sister, Velma Grayson, all of Mobile; four brothers, Lee Austin of Hattiesburg, Miss., and Frank King, Jessie King and Aaron King, all of Mobile; 12 grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be from noon to 5 p.m. today at Christian Benevolent Funeral Home on North Hamilton Street. Viewing will also begin at 9 a.m. Saturday at Mount Calvary Missionary Baptist, 2456 Bragdon St., with visitation from 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. funeral. Burial will follow in Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens.
