Williams, Jessie Lee, 37, of Ensley, died May 25, 1999. Funeral Tuesday, 12:00, 1st 7th Day Adventist Church (540 57th St. Fairfield). Burial: Valhalla. Brighton directing.

Haynes, Bobby Joe, age 64, of Ragland passed away. Funeral services will be Friday, November 5, at 2 p.m. at Macedonia Baptist Church with burial in the adjoining cemetery. Rev. Doug Ford and Rev. J. R. Harris officiating. Chapel Hill Funeral Home of Pell City, directing.

Peoples, Jessie James, Sr., age 75, of Bessemer, died October 30, 1999. He was a retired inloader operator at Wade Sand and Gravel Company with 52 years of service. He was a U. S. Veteran of World War II, 1943 to 1945 Organization 55th ORD AM CO. Funeral services will be Friday, November 5, at Noon at Mt. Hebron Baptist Church with burial in Pinehill Cemetery. Dr. D. L. Blackmon officiating. Survivors: daughters, Chester Mary (David) Adams, Linda Peoples, Ada Little, Lowanda (Stanley) Miller, all of Bessemer; sons, Roosevelt (Ethel) Peoples, Jessie (Pearlene) Peoples, Jr., Johnny (Kathy) Peoples, Andrew (Gwendolyn) Peoples, Micheal Peoples, Mark (Tereka) Peoples, all of Bessemer; 43 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren; special nephews, Anderson Blevins, Sammy L. Hargrove, and Ted Moore, Jr.; niece, Lizzie M. Adams. Our family chain has been broken once again, now our father is gone home, we will miss him so much. Cloud, Willie Lee, Sr., age 72, of Birmingham, died March 26, 199 9. He retired from Thomas Foundry after 37 years of service. He was a member of Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church and served in the U. S. Army. Funeral service at Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church will be held Saturday, April 3, 1999 at 1:00 P.M. Tucker, Annie Laura, age 88, of Pleasant Grove, Alabama, died December 15, 1999. She was a member of Cottage Hill Baptist Church of Pleasant Grove. She was preceded in death by her husband, Talmadge S. Tucker; and her daughter, Patricia Ann Trenor. Visitation: Thursday, December 16th from 6:00-8:00 P.M. Love, Iva Lee, age 79, of Birmingham, Alabama, died December 14, 1999. She was a member of The Open Door Church and a member of the Quilting Club Association. Butler, Mrs. Mary Elizabeth (BETTY), age 77, of Hix son, Tenn., formerly of Ozark, died Sunday, November 28, 1999. Thomas, Mary Lee, age 85, of Birmingham, died November 24, 1999. She was a retired laborer with Wire Products having 30 years of service. A member of Greater New Peace Baptist Church; House of Love Deliverance Center, Usher Board, and mother of the church. Funeral services will be Thurs day, December 2, at Noon at Mount Calvary Baptist Church, 2321 21st Street North with burial in Green Leaf Heights Cemetery. Survivors: daughter, Yolanda Porter; sisters, Lou Ada Crosby and Angline Grant; brother, Joe Brown, Sr.; grandchildren, Antwan Sanders, Yolanda Porter, Pamela Vaughn, Jacobi Spiecener, Antionia Thomas, and Mararita Thomas. Costa, Mr. Tony J., age 90, of Birmingham, died Tuesday, November 30, 1999. The Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, December 2, at Ridout's Elmwood Chapel, with burial at Elmwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening, from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m., with a Rosary Service beginning at 7:00 p.m. at Elmwood Chapel. Mr. Costa was preceded in death by his wife, Ethel P. Costa, and is survived by: two sisters, Mary Costa Leo and Maggie Costa Scarpulla, both of Birmingham; nephews, Jim, Frank, Joe and Tony Ippolito, all of Birmingham; nieces, Louise DiChiara, Antoinette James, and Frances Walls, all of Birmingham; and several great nieces and nephews. Mr. Costa was a member of Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, was a veteran of World War II and participated in the Battle of the Bulge, and retired from Supreme Beverage Company. Miller, Isaac Sr., age 79, of Brighton, Alabama, died November 25, 1999. A veteran of the U.S. Army, he was retired, formerly a steelworker at USX Corporation. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 2, 1999, at 1:00 p.m. at Bethel A.M.E. Church of Brighton. Rev. S.A. Fields p residing. Burial in Highland Memorial Gardens.
