BILL HILL
SYLACAUGA — Funeral service for Bill Hill, 69, will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Curtis and Son Funeral Home North chapel with the Rev. Frank Thompson officiating.
Mr. Hill died Sept. 27 at his residence. He was a self-employed State Farm insurance agent and served as pro-tem of the Childersburg City Council from 1976 to 1984. He was also the Childersburg Police Department liaison to the Childersburg City Council. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.
He is survived by his wife, Teresa Hill of Sylacauga; sons, Alan Hill and wife Penny of Grapevine, Texas, Derek Hill and wife Rhonda of St. Croix, USVI, and Scot Hill and wife Lisa of St. Croix, USVI; grandsons, Casey Hill and Colin Hill; his mother, Veleree Hill Chandler of Springville; brothers, Larry Hill of Springville and Robert Hill of Westlinn, Ore.; and sisters, Connie Hill of Cropwell and Dorothy Allen of Athens.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Diabetic Association.

DONALD DEWAYNE MAULL JR.
ANNISTON — Graveside service for infant Donald Dewayne Maull Jr. will be Thursday at noon in Eden Hills Cemetery
in Anniston with Brother James Wright officiating.
The infant died Sept. 27 at Regional Medical Center.
He is survived by his father, Donald Dewayne Maull Sr.; his mother, Delores Russell of Anniston; sister, Zakarian Shamya Rene Russell; brother, Jashawn Christopher Caldwell; and his grandparents, Isiah Lee Jr. and Linda Lee of Anniston.
Pallbearers will be Isiah Lee and Claude Young.
Ervin Funeral Chapel will direct the service.
JIMMY MINOR
ROCKFORD — Celebration of Life Service for Jimmy Minor, 65, will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Curtis and Son Funeral Home North chapel with the Rev. Max Buttram officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery.
Mr. Minor died Sept. 29 at Coosa Valley BMC. He was a member of Mt. Vernon Baptist Church, served in the U.S. Army and was employed by M&N Alloy.
He is survived by his wife, Vivian Minor of Rockford; brothers, Bobby Minor and wife Brenda of Childersburg, Ronny Minor and wife Jan of Sylacauga and Donny Minor and wife Kristie of Sylacauga; several nieces and nephews; and a host of friends and co-workers.
The family requests casual dress for the Celebration of Life Service.
The family will accept flowers or donations may be made to the Humane Society.
Pallbearers will be Donny Minor, Chris Minor, Chris Hawkins, Daniel Blair, Kitt Beutler, Ross Blair and Kevin Minor.
Honorary pallbearers will be Billy Atkinson Sr., Billy Atkinson Jr. and Dennis Dunnaway.

ROY ELBERT NOLEN
LINCOLN — Graveside service for Roy Elbert Nolen, 89, will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. in Valley Hill Cemetery
with Jackie Bentley officiating.
Mr. Nolen died Sept. 29 at his residence. He was a former resident of Birmingham. He retired from Holsom Bakery, was a member of the Eden United Methodist Church and was preceded in death by a sister, Margaret Finochio.
He is survived by his wife, Mamie Ruth Howard Nolen; daughters, Dianne Fendley and Joyce Spivey of Pell City and Lynda Forbes of Lincoln; brother, William L. Nolen of Homewood; sister, Ruth E. Attison of Center Point; 16 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

ARTHUR WILLIAM PARKER
SYLACAUGA — Graveside service for Arthur William (Bill) Parker, 46, will be Friday at 3 p.m. in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery
with the Rev. Jackie Davison officiating.
Mr. Parker died Sept. 30. He was preceded in death by his father, Paul Parker. He was employed by Sylacauga Backhoe and was a native of Los Angeles, Calif.
He is survived by daughters, Ashlee Miranda Parker, Christina Nicole Parker and Amanda Michelle Parker of Elberta; his mother, Shirley Parker of Sylacauga; sisters, Angela Parker Johns of Chelsea and Deborah Holland of Leaksville, Miss.; and a host of nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Friday from 1:30 until 2:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Larry Holcomb, Robbie Matson, Jimmy Brown, Doug Smith, Doug Blair and L. Bruce Rhyne.

ALICE ELIZABETH ANDREWS
SARASOTA, Fla. — Funeral service for Alice Elizabeth Andrews will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Providence Baptist Church in Leesburg. Burial will be in Providence Cemetery.
Ms. Andrews died Sept. 29 in Sarasota, Fla. She was born Sept. 26, 1950, in Cherokee County to Trumer and Alberta Andrews. She was raised in Leesburg and became a member of Providence Missionary Baptist Church and a very early age. She graduated from Hatcher High School as class valedictorian in 1968. In 1970, she received her Associates of Science degree from Gadsden State Junior College. In the early 1970s she moved to Sarasota, Fla., where she worked for GTE/Verizon Communications until her retirement in 2002. She was preceded in death by her father, Trumer Andrews.
She is survived by sons, Galen and Michael McGriff of Sarasota, Fla.; her mother, Alberta Andrews of Talladega; sister, Beatrice Davis of Sarasota, Fla.; sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Jones of Childersburg; special niece, Carmen P. Davis of Sarasota, Fla.; nephews, Marlon Andrews of Sarasota, Fla., and Roderick Jones of Columbus, Ga., and a host of other relatives.

GERALDINE COOLEY
HEFLIN — Funeral service for Geraldine Cooley, 68, will be Saturday at 12:30 p.m. at Cannan Baptist Church in Heflin with the Rev. Clarence Brown officiating. Burial will be in Chulafinnee Cemetery.
Mrs. Cooley died Sept. 29 at University Hospital in Birmingham. She was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Wadley.
She is survived by her husband, Oliver Cooley of Heflin; son, Robert Cooley of Heflin; daughters, Darlene Cooley and Verna Mae Cooley of Heflin and Victoria Cooley; sisters, Doris Cooley of Heflin and Willie Bell Cooley of Atlanta, Ga.; brothers, Cephus Person of Heflin and C.P. Person of Anniston; and two grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Friday from 6 until 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Nephews will serve as pallbearers.

SYLACAUGA — Horace Davis, 81, died Oct. 2 at Baptist Coosa Valley Nursing Home.

FRANKIE J. ELLEN
TALLADEGA — Funeral service for Frankie J. Ellen, 47, will be Saturday at 2:30 p.m. at Usrey Funeral Home chapel with Dr. Randy Hagan officiating. Burial will be in Pine Hill Memorial Park.
Mrs. Ellen died Oct. 1 at Citizens BMC. She was a native of Wetumpka and lived in Talladega most of her life. She was a member of Hepzibah Baptist Church. She was a good mother and proud grandmother.
She is survived by daughter, Angela Mizzell of Birmingham; grandson, Christopher Ferguson of Talladega; and her father, Billy F. Klinner of Talladega.
The family will receive friends Friday from 6 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Michael Klinner, Beaver Tinsley, Robert Klinner, Richard Klinner, Cameron Klinner and Cody Klinner.

Mrs. Manley died Sept. 30 at Russell Medical Center.
She is survived by daughter, Claudia (Bea) Gordon of Anniston; sister, Ida Traylor of Columbus, Ga.; eight grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

GOODWATER — Funeral service for Myrtle Peoples, 96, will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Goodwater United Methodist Church with the Rev. Jesse Shaddix and the Rev. Joseph Fain officiating. Burial will be in Goodwater Methodist Cemetery
in Goodwater.
Mrs. Peoples died Oct. 1. She was preceded in death by her husband, Sam A. Peoples; her parents, J.L. and Emma Jane Pairett; son, William F. Peoples and several brothers and sisters. She retired from Russell Manufacturing after some 30 years of service and was a member of Goodwater Methodist Church.
She is survived by son, James R. Peoples and wife Audra Peoples of Sylacauga; sisters, Ruth McCallum of Opelika and Sara Morrison of Coco Beach, Fla.; brother-in-law, Ralph Morrison; grandsons, Jimmy Peoples and wife Brucile Peoples of Jackson's Gap, Bobby Peoples and wife Barbara Peoples of Jackson's Gap and Terry Peoples and wife Sue Peoples of Goodwater; four great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Grandsons and great-grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
