Richey, William Frank, a native of Birmingham, died Wednesday, March 31, 1999. He was retired from Liberty National Life Insurance Company, was a member of Independent Presbyterian Church, a recipient of the Boy Scouts of America Vulcan Award and a 32nd Degree Mason. He is survived by: his wife, Johnnie Brown Richey; and his sons, William Douglas, John David, and Daniel Edwin Richey all of Birmingham; and his faithful companion, Claus Von Bulow. Funeral services will be Saturday, April 3, 1999, 10:30 A.M. at Johns-Ridout's Southside Chapel with Canon Thomas S. Hotchkiss officiating. Burial will be in Valhalla Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday evening at their residence and Friday evening from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Boy Scouts of America of the Cathedral Church of the Advent Garden Club. Johns-Ridout's Funeral Parlor will be directing.

Strickland, Mrs. Oleta, of Trussville, died Monday, December 28, 1998. Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 2, at Noon at New Rising Star Baptist Church with burial in Zion Memorial Gardens. Survivors: husband, Mr. Eldridge Strickland; daughters, Mrs. Debbie (J.P.) Rodgers of Charlotte, NC and Mrs. Brunetta (James) Peterson of Birmingham; sisters, Mrs. Virginia (James) John son and Miss Fannie M. Streeter, all of Birmingham; brothers, Mr. George (Denise) Streeter of Ypsilanti, Mich. and Mr. Jerome (Vivian) Streeter of Birmingham; seven grandchildren. Davenport-Harris Funeral Home directing.

Aldridge, Mr. James Edward, age 73, of Parrish, passed away Thursday, April 1, 1999. He was a member of Camp Hill Baptist Church, member of Ironworker Union Local #526, and preceded in death by three sisters and two brothers. Visitation will be held on Friday, April 2, 6-8 PM, at Bell Funeral Home in Forestdale. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 3, 2 PM, in the Bell Forestdale Chapel with burial in Shanghi Cemetery. Rev. Frankye Gregory will officiate. He is survived by his wife, Kathleen Aldridge; sons, James E. Aldridge, Jr. and wife, Brenda, of Springhill, Tenn., Gregory L. Aldridge and wife, Jewell, of Orange Beach, Ala., and Danny L. Aldridge and wife, Carolyn, of Augusta, Ga.; daughters, Elizabeth Price, Wanda F. Crowe and husband, Roger, and Rhonda Christian and husband, James, all of Parrish; sister, Zora Green of Forestdale; 16 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Bell Funeral Home in Forestdale is directing.

Holmes, Mrs. Margaret Marie, age 88, of Helena, died Tuesday, December 29, 1998. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, January 2, at South Roe buck Baptist Church with burial at Elmwood Cemetery. The visitation will be held Friday evening from 4:00 until 7:00 P.M. at Ridout's Roebuck Chapel. Mrs. Holmes was preceded in death by her husband, Oliver Holmes, Jr.; and by her son, Oliver Holmes, III. She is survived by her: sons, Alan Holmes and Gene Holmes; daughters, Laurene Braden and Gwen Dawson; 11 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren. The family suggests memorials be sent to t he South Roe buck Baptist Church or to the American Cancer Society. Roe buck Chapel is directing.

Harmon, Louie D., Jr., age 74, of Bonita Springs, Fla., formerly of Lipscomb, died December 26, 1998. Survivors: sons, David L. Harmon, Richard G. Harmon; daughter, Pamela Harmon Adkins; mother, Vora L. (Susie) Harmon; brothers, Cecil Harmon, Neal Harmon, Carter Harmon, Jerry Harmon, Barry Harmon; sister, Barbara Roberson; four grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren . National Cremation Society of Naples, Fla. in charge of arrangements.

Christiansen, Mrs. Mitylene Vildibill, age 94, of Homewood, died Thursday, April 1, 1999. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, April 3, at Shades Val ley Lutheran Church with burial at Elmwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday evening, 5-8 PM, at Ridout's Valley Chapel in Homewood. Mrs. Christiansen was preceded in death by her first husband, William John Christian sen, Sr., and by her second husband, Otis Allen Odom. She is survived by her two sons, William John Christiansen, Jr. of Vestavia, and Robert George Christiansen of Homewood; daughter, Jean Freeman Doyle of Homewood; brother, R. J. Wallace of Oklahoma City, Okla., nine grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and friends. Mrs. Christiansen was a former member of Christ Lutheran Church and was instrumental in helping develop other Lutheran churches in the Birmingham area. She was a charter member of the Shades Valley Lutheran Church, where she taught Sunday School and sang in the choir. A graduate of Montevallo College, Mrs. Christiansen taught school for 25 years at Cahaba Heights Elementary School, was member of DAR, traveled with the group at Dawson Memorial Baptist Church, and was active in many organizations, including music and garden clubs. Serving as pallbearers will be her grandsons, William John, III, Robert Wayne, Robert George, Jr., and Michael David Christiansen, Guy William, Donald Barry and Jeffrey Alan Freeman. Services are under the direction of Ridout's Valley Chapel in Homewood.

Williams, Geneva, age 46 of Birmingham, AL died Saturday, March 27, 1999. She was a member of Mt. Hebron Baptist Church in Graysville. Funeral ser vice will be held on Saturday, April 3, at 12 noon from the Church with burial at Carver Memorial Gardens. Survivors include her daughter, Erika (Christopher) Rollins, two adopted sons, Teon Collins and Latrick Turner; her mother, Estella Williams; her sister, Willie McWilliams; her brothers, John (Zadie) Williams, Obie (Elizabeth) Williams, and Herman (Vivian) Williams; and a host of godchildren, relatives and friends. Jackson, Mr. Lige (BUCK), age 66, of Vance, passed away December 28, 1998 at a local hospital. He was a saw miller. He is survived by his wife, Mary Ruth Jackson of Vance, daughters, Shelia Piccone of Charleston, SC, Peggy Cromer of Vance, Linda Jackson of Oak Grove, Mary Gail Avery of Vance, sons, Gary Michael Jackson of Tampa, Fla., Lige David Jackson of Elmore, Tommy Jackson of Dade City, Fla., Glenn Jackson of Dade City, Fla., Johnathan Jackson of Dade City, Fla., sisters, Flora Shelby of No rth Port, Fema Handley of Cullman, brothers, J. D. Humphryes of Oak Grove, Rayburn Humphryes of Gordo, step brother, Cecil Humphryes of Adger, 28 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held Thursday, December 31, at 11 a.m. at Providence Baptist Church with burial in Providence Baptist Cemetery. Rev. Felton Dagnan officiating. Moore, Hattie R., 98, died Monday, March 29, 1999. She was a retired Laborer for Birmingham Stove and Range Company and a member of Mount Zion Baptist Church, Birmingham. Funeral services will be Friday, April 2, 12 Noon, at the church, 9225 6th Avenue North, with burial in Zion Memorial Gardens. The Rev. Earl Harry, Sr., officiating. Survivors: daughter, Annie L. Davis, Mrs. Inez She was a York native and choir member at New Zion Baptist. Mrs. Davis died Tuesday Morning, December 29, 1998, at her home in Bessemer. Life's memories will be cherished by her husband of more than 60 years, Louis Davis, Sr.; son, Louis (Lucille) Davis, Jr.; foster-son, Dr. Eddie (Sarah) Hollaway and grandson, Ricky (Geraldine) Davis. Berry, Jim, Jr., age 52, of Birmingham, died March 26, 1999. He was disabled and a member of Corinth Baptist Church. Funeral services will be April 3, at 1:00 P M, from Grey Memorial Funeral Home with burial in Zion Memorial Gardens. The Rev. Ralph Brown, Corinth Baptist Church, officiating. Survivors: three daughters, Jacqueline Berry, Shirika Bowie and Janice Bogan; mother, Roberta Berry; five sisters, Dorothy Stewart, Mary Ann Bell, Beatrice Dowdell, Delois Berry and Vivian Streeter; one brother, Samuel Berry; four grandchildren. Lemley, Lois Cole, age 68, of Birmingham, passed away December 30, 1998. Graveside service was Thursday, December 31, at 3:30 p.m. at Elmwood Cemetery. Survivors: husband, Ray Lemley; daughter, Mary Lois Lemley; son, Thomas Ray Lemley and daughter-in-law, Pamela P. Lemley; grandchildren, Zachary and Hillary Lemley; brothers, Harold Cole and James (Bodie) Cole. Elmwood Chapel directing.

Thomas, Drucile R., 76, of Warrior (Partridge Crossroads), died March 31, 1999. She was a homemaker and member of Union Baptist Church. Graveside services will be Saturday, April 3, 2 PM, at Union Cemetery, Warrior. The Rev. Arnold Tate and Rev. Doug Tate officiating. Visitation is Friday at the funeral home, 6-9 PM. Survivors: husband of 55 years, Herman J. Thomas; two daughters, Nancy Wilson, Sumiton, and Dianne Nichols and her husband, Jimmy, Franklin, Tenn.; two sons, Michael Thomas and his wife, Janice, and David Thomas and his wife, Sharon, all of Warrior; two sisters, Carolyn Payne, Sumiton, and Bonnie Estes, Warrior; brother, Lem Rhodes, Warrior; four grandchildren, Julie, Eric and Natalie Thomas, all of Warrior, Allen Pennington, Jr., Bagley. Moultrie, Percy Lee, 69, of Birmingham, died Tuesday, March 30, 1999. Funeral services Saturday, April 3, 2 PM, at the Greater Works Baptist Church, Birmingham, with the Rev. Willie Peake officiating. Survivors: wife, Ethel Mae Moultrie; three sisters; seven brothers; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Smith & Gaston North Side Chapel directing.

Levine, Dr. Myron Albert, 64, died Wednesday, December 30, 1998. He is preceded in death by his mother, Rose Steinberg Levine. Dr. Levine was engaged in the practice of pediatric and adolescent medicine for 30 years. He was the founder of Birmingham Pediatrics Associates. Dr. Levine graduated fr om Chilton County High School. He received his B.S. from The University of Alabama and his M.D. degree from The Medical College of Alabama. He completed his internship, residency, and pediatric cardiology fellowship at The University of Minnesota Hospitals, Minneapolis, Minnesota. He was a Diplomat of The American Board of Pediatrics and a Fellow of The American Academy of Pediatrics. His honors included, Alpha Epsilon Delta, and Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. Dr. Levine also served in t he U. S. Navy as chief of pediatrics, U. S. Naval Construction Battalion Center, Port Hueneme, California. Survivors include his wife, Marissa; two sons, Dr. Jonathan Levine and Adam Levine, and two daughters-in-law, Sarah Ellen and Hadas. He is also survived by his father, Isadore S. Levine and his stepmother, Edna K. Levine. Services were held graveside at Elmwood Cemetery at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, December 31, 1998. Rabbi Jonathan Miller will officiate. The family will receive visitors on Sun day, January 3, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Bruno Family Cancer Center or The Children's Hospital of Alabama. Johns Ridout's Southside directing.
