Fox, Ronald Eugene, age 34, of Birmingham, passed away April 20, 1999. He was a member of Iron Workers Local Number 92. Bryan, Ruby Nell Weaver, of Vestavia Hills, formerly of Huntsville, Alabama and a native of Blount County, passed away April 19, 1999. She was predeceased by her husband, Charlie Bryan, retired sergeant major of the U. S . Army. She was of Baptist faith and a retired U. S. Army employee. She had resided at Chateau Vestavia in independent living since December 1998 and was very happy there. She is survived by one brother, Bains Weaver of Boise, Idaho, two sisters-in-law, Mrs. Helen Hamilton of Hoover, Alabama and Mrs. June Waldrep of Fairview, Alabama; one brother-in-law, Robert Bryan of Fort Lauderdale, Florida; many nieces, nephews and friends. Erwin, Fred, Jr., age 8 2 of Tarrant, died Wednesday, October 27, 1999. Retired Chief of Master Mechanical Department, U.S. Postal Service, a member of Springdale Baptist Church, formerly active in the Tarrant Youth Baseball League, where he coached approximately 15 years. A member of the American Legion and the Eagles. He was a Veteran of WWII and the Korean Conflict, where he served in the 51st Dixie Infantry Division. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, October 30, 1999 at 11:00 a.m. at Jefferson Memorial Gar dens. Bro. Winston McNeil officiating. Moore, Mr. Edwin Hastings, Iii, age 19, of Leeds, died Monday, April 19, 1999. Graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 22, at Ridout's Southern Heritage Cemetery in Pelham. The family will receive friends Thursday prior to the service from 12:30 until 2:30 p.m. at Ridout's Valley Chapel in Homewood. Survivors include his father, Edwin Hastings Moore, II, and wife, Laurie of Leeds; mother, Pamela Bridges Moore of Ft. Walton Beach, FL; three brothers: Frank Allen Yeilding and Christopher Lynch Yeilding, both of Birmingham, and Shawn Moore of Ft. Walton B each, FL; grandparents: Sara Brooks McDonald and the late James W. Moore, Jr.; grandparents, Frank and Claire Lynch, all of Birmingham; and a host of uncles, aunts, and cousins. Hooper, Mrs. Judy S., of Birmingham, died Tuesday, March 30, 1999. She was a member of Metropolitan Church of God and a former member of Dawson Memorial Baptist Church. Born and raised in Oxford. Besides being active in both churches she was also active in the Birmingham Jaycees. She was a loving mother, cherished grandmother and beloved daughter and will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by her husband Thomas D. Hooper. Survivors are; daughters, Denise Gardner and husband John, Carole Little and husband Michael; grandchildren, Sarah Gardner, Jennifer Little, James Little, Chelsie Little and Teslin Little; parents, Lester and Geneva Sewell; sister-in-law, Kathi Hooper. Clopton, Carrie Lou Tweed, age 86, of Birmingham, Alabama, died Tuesday, March 30, 1999. Several times president and Lifetime Member of Presbyterian Women, she also taught Sunday School in Knoxville and Nashville, Tennessee, Meridian, Mississippi, and Birmingham. She joined South Highland Presbyterian in 1956 where she advised the Senior High Fellowship and often took them to Mont reat, North Carolina for camp. An avid reader and former teacher, she instilled a love for books in all her family. Survivors include: her beloved husband for 63 years, James M. Clopton of Birmingham; daughter, Larry Ann Bridg man and husband, Stewart, of Staunton, Virginia; daughter, Linda Clopton of Atlanta, Ga.; granddaughter, Cara Lin Bridgman of Taiwan; grandson, James C. Bridgeman and wife, Carrie Mook Bridgman of Springfield, Virginia; grandson, Stewart G. Bridgman, Jr. and wife, Allen Booth Bridgman of Louisville, Kentucky; great-grandson, Benjamin J. Bridgman of Springfield; and sister, Doris T. Brokaw of Canton, Missouri. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 A.M., Friday, April 2, at South Highland Presbyterian Church.
