COLLINSVILLE, Ala. - Willie Lee Duke died Sunday, Jan. 10, 1999, in an area nursing home.
She was 96.
She was a housewife and a member of Guest Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Taft Dover; one son, Joe Dover, and a granddaughter, Lisa Blevins.
Survivors include two daughters, Evelyn Kline, Nevada, and Lee Dell Blevins, Fort Payne, Ala.; one brother, Leslie Duke, Henagar, Ala.; one sister, Marie Gilbreath, Albertville, Ala.; nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Services will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Burt Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Mount Moriah Cemetery.
Joseph Durham
FORT PAYNE, Ala. - Joseph Elbert Durham died Sunday, Jan. 10, 1999, at his home.
He was 86.
He was a native of DeKalb County and was retired from Lockheed in Marietta, Ga.
Survivors include his wife, Lucy Paine Hulgan Durham; one daughter, Lynn Croft, Cartersville, Ga.; one son, Dr. Joseph Elbert Durham Jr., Huntsville, Ala.; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be today at 1 p.m. at Valley Head cemetery with the Rev. Jim Griffin and the Rev. Ryan T. Croft officiating.
Arrangements are by Wilson Funeral Home, Fort Payne.

ATTALLA, Ala. - Earl E. Ewing of Attalla died Saturday, Jan 9, in Birmingham.
He was 76.
Services will be held Wednesday at 3 p.m. EST at Moore Funeral Home in Bryant, Ala., with the Rev. Donnie Ewing officiating.
Burial will be at Oaklawn Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends today from 4 to 10 p.m. EST at the funeral home.

HIGDON, Ala. - Thomas Cleveland Hendley died Saturday, Jan. 9, 1999, at a local hospital.
He was 41.
Services will be held today at 2 p.m. EST at Moore Funeral Home with the Rev. Tim Davis and the Rev. Carlan Tibbs officiating.
Burial will be in the Paynes Chapel cemetery on Sand Mountain.

RAINSVILLE, Ala. - Myrtle Beatrice Proctor died Sunday, Jan. 10, 1999, in an area hospital.
Survivors include one daughter, Dessie Dean, Rainsville; three sons, Zeblin and James Proctor, Rainsville, and Bobby Proctor, Chatsworth; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Services will be today at 2 p.m. at W.T. Wilson Funeral Home the Rev. David Martin officiating.
Burial will be in Mountain View Memory Gardens.

STEVENSON, Ala. - Thomas Edward Ward died Friday, Jan. 8, 1999, at his home.
He was 86.
Survivors include several nieces and nephews.
Services were held Monday at noon at Rudder Funeral Home.
Burial was in Cross Cemetery.
