FORT PAYNE, Ala. - Floyd Emanuel 'Beatle' Bailey died Friday, Jan. 15, 1999, in a north Georgia hospital. He was 54.
He attended the Church of God of Prophecy.
Survivors include his mother, Lema Bailey, Fort Payne, Ala.
Services will be at 1 p.m. today in the W.T. Wilson Funeral Home with Junior Reed officiating.
Burial will be in Chaney's Chapel Cemetery.
Martha Bradford
GROVE OAK, Ala. - Martha Irene Bradford died Friday, Jan. 15, 1999, in a north Georgia hospital. She was 72.
Survivors include her husband, Edgar Bradford; two sons, Charles Bradford, Woodville, Ala., and Harvey Bradford, Grove Oak; one daughter, Wanda Stanfield, Grove Oak; one brother, Son Knight, Fort Payne, Ala.; two sisters, Hester Wilborn and Sue Goggans, both of Fort Payne; 14 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Piney Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Dennis Mitchell, the Rev. Rayford Fricks and the Rev. Terry Myers officiating.
Burial will be in the Piney Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
Arrangements are by Rainsville (Ala.) Funeral Home.
Mark Cavin
GAYLESVILLE, Ala. - Mark Cavin died Friday, Jan. 15, 1999, in a Rome, Ga. hospital. He was 77.
He was retired form the Packing Department of Hariett-Henderson Mills.
Survivors Include his wife, Cora Cavin; one daughter, Melody Pettyjohn, Seabrook, Texas; two sisters, Clydie Crye, Jamestown, Ala., Robbie Shahan, Chattanooga; one brother, Sam Cavin, Summerville, Ga.; and three grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Douglas Brandon and the Rev. Robert Patterson officiating.
Burial will be in Ami Cemetery.
Visitation will be today from 7 to 9 p.m. at J.D. Hill Funeral Home, Summerville.
Jess Ferguson
VALLEY HEAD, Ala. - Jess G. Ferguson died Thursday, Jan. 14, 1999 in Birmingham, Ala. He was 92.
He was the husband of the late Alma Ferguson.
Survivors include three sons, Lonnie Ferguson, Henagar, Ala., the Rev. Leonard Ferguson, Castlewood, Va., and Larry Ferguson, Wildwood, Ga.; two daughters, Jean Sexton, Valley Head, and Clara Jorday, Birmingham; one brother, Riley Ferguson, Pisgah, Ala.; two sisters, Hazel Bradford, South Pittsburg, Tenn., and Grace Smith, Pisgah; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held today at 2 p.m. at Pisgah cemetery with the Rev. Leonard Ferguson officiating.
Arrangements are by Kerby Funeral Home, Henagar.
Ethel Jones
FORT PAYNE, Ala. - Ethel M. Jones died Wednesday, Jan. 13, 1999, in an area hospital. She was 82.
She was a native of Jackson County, Ala., a homemaker and a Nazarene.
Survivors include her husband, Emery David Jones; two daughters, Shirley Noel and Sue Killian, Fort Payne; two sisters, Mae Hill, Rainsville, Ala., and Vella Jones, Fort Payne; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Services will be today at 2 p.m. at Burt Funeral Home with brother Tim Davis and brother Wayne Killian officiating.
Burial will be in Lebanon Cemetery.

MENTONE, Ala. - Lora Mabel Crow Kirk died Dec. 23, 1998, in San Francisco. She was 92.
A memorial service will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at First Presbyterian Church in Fort Payne, Ala., with the Rev. Jerry Davis officiating.

BRYANT, Ala. - Ernestine V. Stargel died Tuesday, Jan. 12, 1999, in an Orlando, Fla., hospital. She was 71.

Burial will be in Oak Lawn Memorial Park in Bryant.

RAINSVILLE, Ala. - The Rev. J.C. 'Charles' Cooper of the Chavies community died Tuesday, Jan. 12, 1999, at his home. He was 64.
Survivors include his wife, Bobbie Cooper; two sons, Eddie Cooper, Chavies, and Ricky Cooper, Rainsville; one daughter, Teresa Berry, Chavies; mother, Flora Hamby, Henagar, Ala.; one brother, Jerry Hamby, Lake Wells, Fla.; two sisters, Jean Overdear, Henagar, Ala., and Frances Gregory, Chavies; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Burial will be in Rainsville Memorial Park.

She was the widow of Frank H. Kirk.
