THELMA BRADLEY BISHOP
CHILDERSBURG — Funeral service for Thelma (BB) Bradley Bishop, 82, will be Thursday at 1 p.m. at Wilsonville United Methodist Church with the Rev. Warren Wilder officiating. Burial will be in Wilsonville Cemetery.
Mrs. Bishop died Sept. 8 in Huntsville. She was born Oct. 17, 1920, in Coosa County. She was a member of Wilsonville United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard Monroe Bradley and Alice Abbott Roberson Bradley.
She is survived by daughters, Jimmie Boyles and Layne Dorning of Huntsville and Eva Boyles of Wilsonville; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Thursday from noon until service time at the church.
Memorial contributions may be made to Wilsonville United Methodist Church.

TALLADEGA — James Marion (Bubba) Burks, 82, died Sept. 9 at Baptist Medical Center Montclair.
Funeral arrangements will be announced by Usrey Funeral Home.

TALLADEGA — Funeral service for Edward Morris Challender Jr., 82, will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at Hepzibah Baptist Church with Dr. Randy Hagan and the Rev. William Casady officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mr. Challender died Sept. 9 at his residence. He was a member of Hepzibah Baptist Church since 1947, served as a deacon for 27 years, was a past Sunday school superintendent and Sunday school treasurer for several years. He was a veteran of World War II and was retired from Ryders Trucking Company.
He is survived by his wife, Mildred A. Challender of Talladega; daughters, Sue Curtis and Connie Jones of Talladega; son, Tommy Challender of Talladega; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Mike Challender, Greg Curtis, Bob Challender, Steve Jones, David Walker Challender and Jim Townsend.
Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Clay Davis, Dr. Soares, the Adult Men's Sunday School Class III and the Timothy Sunday School Class.
Usrey Funeral Home will direct the service.

CHILDERSBURG — Funeral service for Leslie G. Danford, 75, will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Curtis and Son Funeral Home Childersburg chapel with the Rev. Tony Lees and the Rev. Frank Thompson officiating. Burial will be in Greenhill Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Danford died Sept. 9 at his residence. He was a member of Grace Baptist Church, was retired from Avondale Mills and served in the military.
He is survived by his wife, Dale Danford of Childersburg; daughter, Tommie Gaskey and husband Rex of Covington, Tenn.; son, Jimmy Danford and wife Wanda of Covington, Ga.; brother, Lamar Danford of Harpersville; sister, Jewel Danford of Sylacauga; grandchildren, Angela Danford and Jeremy Danford of Covington, Ga., Dewayne Roberson of Sylacauga, Chasity Roberson of Anniston and Madelline Jane Braudis of Fort Polk, La.; and great-grandchildren, Hosia Roberson and Tyler Thompson of Anniston.
Nephews will serve as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 5:30 until 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

PELL CITY — Zepora R. Forman, 90, of 1422 7th Ave. S., died Sept. 10 at Beverly Healthcare Ingram.

DELTA — Funeral service for Jerry Wayne Key, 59, will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church with the Rev. Curtis Beculhimer, the Rev. David Holcombe and the Rev. Jerry Edge officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mr. Key died Sept. 9 at Clay County Hospital. He was a native of Calhoun County and had lived most of his life in Clay County. He was a mechanic and a member of Mt. Moriah Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Hilda Key of Delta; daughters, Sandra Hill and Stacy Cash of Delta; sister, Mary A. Yates of Lineville; brother, Ronald Key of Delta; and four grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Terry Triplett, Keith Clarke, Jimmy Clarke, Doug Johnson, Chris Morrison and Ronald Reese.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Mt. Moriah Baptist Church.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home until one hour before the service.
The body may be viewed at the church for one hour before the service.

BILLIE JEAN KENNEDY McDANIEL
LINCOLN — Graveside service for Billie Jean Kennedy McDaniel, 65, will be Thursday at 1 p.m. in Gray Rock Cemetery
with Tommy Johnson officiating.
Mrs. McDaniel died Sept. 9 at her residence. She was born Sept. 9, 1938, and was a native of Franklin County. She was president of the Professional Secretary Association from 1980 through 1985 and retired from the U.S. Marshal's service in December 1999. As a Christian, she attended Lincoln Baptist Church near her home. She was a loved and admired wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents, Millard Kennedy and Etta Lane Kennedy, and a sister, Betty Kennedy.
She is survived by her loving husband of 28 years, James McDaniel; mother, Letty J. Metheney Kennedy; daughter, Peggy Arbogast and husband Jim; son, Kenneth Williams and wife Jayne; daughter, Lynn Moncrief and husband Johnny; daughter, Teri Kennedy and husband Rick; grandchildren, Christopher Boord, Lauren Dimitrov and husband Adam, Ashley Williams, Chris Capps, Josh Capps, Jason Graves and wife Stephanie, Brandon Graves, Jeremy Moncrief, Jonathan Moncrief, Jame' Moncrief, Rick Kennedy Jr., Sarah Kennedy and Jacob Kennedy; great-grandchildren, Daulton Capps, Braeden Capps and Zachary Graves; sisters, Willodean Kennedy, Carolyn Sue McCullough, Becky Bishop and husband Keith; and brothers, Sammy Kennedy, Charles Kennedy and wife Sherrie, Larry Kennedy and wife Sandra, James Kennedy and wife Sharon and Roger Kennedy.
