Funeral services for Lelia Carter Robinson, 95, Clanton will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 11, 1999, at Martin Funeral Home Chapel at 1 p.m. with Rev. Tony Smitherman and Rev. Robert Griffin officiating. Burial will follow at Martin Memorial cemetery in Clanton, with Martin Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be held at Martin Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, Aug. 10, 1999, from 5-8 p.m. Robinson was born on Oct. 19, 1903, in Alabama, the daughter of Robert and Emma Culp. She was an agriculturist. She died August 9, 1999, at Chilton Medical Center in Clanton. Survivors include two sons, R. T. Carter, both of Clanton; three daughters, Virgil Boone, Geraldean Baker, and Faye Roper, all of Clanton; 11 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Burial will follow at Martin Memorial cemetery in Clanton. Born on May 21, 1915 to Talmadge Robinson and Lonie Robinson, he died April 4, 2003 at Chilton Medical Center in Clanton. Survivors include his wife Jewell Robinson of Clanton; daughter Glenda Sue (Michael) Pruitt of Anniston, son Lyndal (Julie Ann) Robinson of Dauphin Island; grandson Joseph Evans Robinson of Ft. Collins, Colo.; granddaughter Autumn Courtney Robinson of Mobile.

Burial will follow at Collins Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be held today, June 15 at Martin Funeral Home Chapel. He died Sunday, June 13 at Hatley Health Care. Robinson was a mechanic. He is survived by his wife, Doris Robinson of Jemison; daughters Shirley Spenser and Gail Childress of Jemison and Sue Webb of San Diego, Cal.; sons Tom Robinson of Seattle, Wash. and Johnny Robinson of Jemison; sisters Severah Burgess of Clanton and Essie Loyd Fox of Tucson, Ariz.; nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at Martin Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2002, from 5-8 p.m. Smith was born on July 29, 1910, in Alabama, the daughter of the late Elijah Allen Robinson and the late Ollie Emaline Robinson. She was a homemaker. She died on Feb. 11, 2002, at the Wetumpka Nursing Facility. Survivors include three sons, Douglas Allen (Dot) Smith, Houston, Texas, James Roy (Dorothy) Smith, LaPorte, Texas, Jerry Wayne (Cathy) Smith, Nacogdoches, Texas; three daughters, Marie (Ralph) Sith and Idis (David) Edwards, both of Verbena, and Ruth (Terry) Yarbrough, Montgomery; two daughters-in-law, LaRue Smith, Clanton, Carolyn Smith, Houston, Texas; 20 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Howard Smith, and two sons, Reedie Howard Smith and John D. Smith.

She was a restaurant owner. She died at Hatley Health Care in Clanton on Feb. 23, 2000. Survivors include several nieces and nephews.

Rockett and the late Queen Rockett. A homemaker, she died on Aug. 25, 2000, at Ayers Nursing Home in Trenton, Fla. She is survived by her daughter Jacquelin Etheridge of Titusville; her brother, J. W. Rockett of Clanton, three grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Oscar Earl O'Neal, father, Monroe Roebuck and mother, Minnie Klinner Roebuck.
