Reynolds was born on Oct. 27, 1956, in Jefferson County, the daughter of Mary Frances Atchinson Burt and the late Haywood C. Burt. She was a homemaker. She died on Dec. 26, 2001, at UAB Medical Center. Survivors include one son, Frank (Kim) Reynolds, Selma; one daughter, Angie Marie Quinn, Verbena; one mother, Mary Frances Atchinson Burt, Maplesville; three sisters, Mary Ann (Ben) Smith, Jemison, Nile Burt (Glenn) Pugh, Maplesville, and Theresa (Daniel) Mendez, West Blocton; two brothers, Wade L. (Lisa) Burt and Robert Burt, both of Maplesville, and Candice Pierce, Verbena; 12 nieces and nephews; and six great nieces and nephews.

Reynolds, 2 Daughters, Mrs. John M. Bridges of Bessemer, Mrs. John Newell of Clanton, 3 Brothers, W. A. Reynolds of Clanton, S. J. Reynolds of Jemison, M .J. Reynolds of Louisiana, 2 Sisters. He served 3 terms in the Ala. State Legislature. He served 3 terms as Probate Judge of Chilton County, 1904-1934 except for the term of 1911-1916. He was a son of Rev. Job Reynolds and Susie Jordan Reynolds. He was born in Macon County, ala., near Tuskegee in 10-16-1864. Moved to Dry Valley in the Northern part of Chilton Co. in 1870. He married

Before her marriage she was Miss Lucy Riggins, Sister of the Late Rufus C. Riggins. She is survived by 4 Sons, 3 Daughters and 1 Sister.

Gantt Riggins, age 82, died Sunday night a few miles North of Clanton. He was found dead in his home Monday morning. For many years he was an active Baptist Preacher and served many local Churches. He is survived by his Second Wife, Mrs. Gensie Riggins who is a daughter of John Price. His first Wife, Lucinda was daughter of Mr. Joel Childress. He is the Father of 21 Children, 15 still living. Burial was at New Salem Cemetery.

Funeral services for Raymond Carl Roberts, 92, formerly of Clanton, were July 9, 1998, at Oakwood cemetery in Sheffield. Mr. Roberts was born in Coopers to the late James H. and Lula Mae McSwain Roberts. He worked as an engineer and held several positions before retiring as a consultant from IBM in 1971. He returned annually to the Roberts family reunion in Clanton. He died July 1, 1998, at East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika. He is survived by a daughter, Helene R. Alexander of Auburn; a sister Elizabeth Best of Portland Ore.; three grandchildren and four great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers: Barney, Guy, Norman (Buck) and James Roberts; four sisters: Ruth Roberts, Mae Edwards, Myrtle Wingo and Lola Hall; and his wife, Merrie Helene Roberts.
