She was a Daughter of Alfred Baker, Pioneer settler of Chilton County and the man for who this County was first named in 1868, Baker County. (Her Husband Ruben, was the Son of James and Mary Calloway Popwell. His Father and his wife's Father were half-Brothers who came from Darlington S.C., 1828.).

Visitation services will be held Friday, Jan.31 from 5-8 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home. Born on April 17, 1915 to James Monroe Popwell and Ida Kicker, she died Wednesday, Jan. 29, 2003 at Briarcliff Nursing Home in Alabaster. Survivors include her sons Jimmy Fulmer of Alabaster, Perry Fulmer of Mobile and Jerry Fulmer of Montevallo; sister Nell Littlejohn of Clanton; 10 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Her husband, Earnest A. "Red" Fulmer and a son, Roy E. Downs, preceded her in death.

Mrs. Jane (Popwell) Wyatt, age 91, died Monday at the home of her Son, T. G. Wyatt, 2 miles East of Clanton. She was sick one week with Flu and Pneumonia. She was the widow of G. Francis Marion Wyatt who died Sept 11, 1904. She was a Dau of Reuben and Sarah Moore Popwell, a Sister to Alfred Popwell. Four Son: Daniel, Reuben, Jim, and Tom Wyatt all of Clanton, 4 Daughters, Mrs. T. G. Taylor, Mrs. J. J. Maddox, Mrs. W.W. Robinson of Clanton, Mrs. Dora Dupree of Montgomery. Burial was beside the grave of her Husband at Providence Beat 16.
