Funeral services for Annie Rob Hallman, 91, of Enterprise were at 11 a.m. Monday, May 29, from the First United Methodist Church in Enterprise with Rev. Walker Epps officiating.
Burial was Tuesday, May 30, at Oakland cemetery in Atlanta, Ga. at 2:00 p.m. (EST) with Patterson-Sorrells Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. Hallman passed away Friday, May 26, 2006 at the family residence.
Survivors include one son, John F. Hallman III of Atlanta; 2 daughters, Margaret Gorum of Enterprise and Anne Stephenson of LaFayette, Ga.; 1 sister-in-law, Mamie H. Ross of Solomans, Md.; 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
KEVEN E. BARNES
Funeral services for Keven E. Barnes, 21, of Level Plains were at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 7, 2006, at the chapel of Searcy Funeral Home with the Rev. Johnny Belcher officiating.
Burial followed in Meadowlawn cemetery with Searcy Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Barnes died Sunday, June 4, 2006 from injuries received in an automobile accident near Fort Walton Beach, Fla.
Survivors include his wife, Shelley Barnes of Level Plains; one daughter, McKenzie Scott Barnes of Level Plains; one son, Everett Lewis Barnes of Level Plains; mother, Wendy Witz of Mary Esther, Fla.; two sisters, Jessica Wilcox of Fort Walton Beach and Amanda Creppel of Louisiana; grandparents, Lucy and Phillip Wilcox of Fort Walton Beach, Audur and Lou Kelsey of Pensacola, Fla., and Robbie and Beverly Barnes of Defuniak Springs, Fla.; and a number of nieces, nephews, uncles, and aunts from Mississippi and England.
NESA P. STEWART
Funeral services for Nesa P. Stewart, 39, of Ozark will be at 2 p.m. at Westside Church of Christ in Ozark with Brother Willie Stanford officiating.
Arrangements are being handled by Coleman Funeral Home in Enterprise.
Ms. Stewart died Thursday, June 1, 2006 at home.
ADOLPHUS W. WALL
Graveside services for Adolphus W. Wall, 92, of Enterprise were at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 27, 2006 at Meadowlawn cemetery with Dr. Lance Hogan officiating.
Burial followed with Searcy Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Wall died Wednesday, May 24, 2006 in Enterprise.
Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Frances A. Wall of Enterprise; one son and daughter-in-law, (Ret.) Lt. Col. John I. Wall (Karon) of Altus, Okla.; two grandsons Master Sgt. Shawn M. Wall (Yma) of Altus, and Capt. David B. Wall of Montgomery; two great-grandsons, John N. Wall and Austin M. Wall of Altus; and numerous nieces and nephews.
JOSEPH FRANKLIN SIMS
Funeral services for Joseph Franklin Sims, 56, of Enterprise were at 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 6, 2006, at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church with the Rev. Steve Bruce officiating.
Burial followed in Meadowlawn cemetery with Searcy Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Sims died on Sunday, June 4, 2006, at his home. He was preceded in death by his father, James Holland Sims and a sister, Linda Gail Sims.
Survivors include his wife, Glenda Faye Sims of Enterprise; one daughter, Dee Sims of Enterprise; one son and daughter-in-law, Terry and Samantha Sims of Enterprise; one granddaughter, Mackenzie Wood of Enterprise; mother and step-father, Lois and Woodrow Austin of Brundidge; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
LINDA GAYLE DEVAUGHAN
Memorial services for Linda Gayle DeVaughan were Sunday, May 28. Arrangements were handled by Patterson-Sorrells Funeral Home.

Mrs. DeVaughan passed away Tuesday, May 23, 2006 at the family residence.
She was preceded in death by her father, Cecil Wade Phelps.
Survivors include her husband, Ronald 'Dumpy' DeVaughan of New Brockton; two daughters, Shannon Insley (Kenneth) of Enterprise and Amy Boyd (Matthew) of Bellevue, Neb.; her mother, Ella Mildred Phelps of New Brockton; one sister, Sue Walls (Carey) of New Brockton; two brothers, Larry Phelps of New Brockton and Perry Phelps (Ann) of Kinston; and 6 grandchildren, Matthew McEwan, Jillian and Ryan Insley, Sidney, Rhonald and Melanie Boyd.
ERVIN EDWARD STRICKLIN
Funeral services for Ervin Edward Stricklin, 82, of Daleville were at 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 6, 2006 at the chapel of Holman Funeral Home in Ozark with the Revs. Judson Waldrop and James Kilpatrick officiating.
Burial with full military honors followed in Daleville Memorial Gardens with Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing.
Mr. Stricklin died Saturday morning, June 3, 2006 in a Dothan hospital. He was born Sept. 16, 1923 in Cullman to the late Artie Taylor Stricklin and Richard F. Stricklin.
Upon graduating from high school, he attended a cook and baker school in Evansville, Ind. and was awaiting further training in France when he was drafted into the Unites States Army.
He served 29 years and retired Aug. 31, 1971 as a master sergeant E8.
He served in the 36th Infantry Division in France, Germany and Austria; the 100th Division in Germany; the Parachute Jump School at Fort Benning, Ga.; the 82nd Airborne Division at Fort Bragg, N.C.; the 33rd Infantry Regiment at Fort Davis, Canal Zone, Panama; the 101st Airborne Division at Fort Campbell, Ky.; Ranger Department at Eglin Air Force Base, Fla.; Presidio of Monterey Institute of Language School in California; the 91st Advisory Team in Vietnam; Fort Holabird, Md.; Fort Hood, Texas; and Headquarters U.S. Army in Hawaii Schofield Barracks, Hawaii.
His medals and awards were the following: Bronze Star; Accommodation Ribbon; Gallantry Cross; Combat Infantry Badge; Purple Heart; Master Parachute Badge; Qualification Badges; Gallantry Cross with Silver Star; and other awards unnamed.
Mr. Stricklin was of the Protestant Faith and an inactive Master Mason. He was an avid golfer in earlier years.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Catherine Wilson and one brother, John Stricklin.
Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Margaret Stricklin of Daleville; one son, Ronald Stricklin and his wife, Marita of Libertyville, Ill.; one daughter, Deborah Fletcher and her husband, Richard of Thousand Oaks, Calif.; two grandsons, Robert and Jon Stricklin of Libertyville; three sisters, Von Sutton and her husband, Willie and Onzelle Carden and her husband Lester, all of Cullman, and Nita Von Evans of Detroit, Mich.; two brothers, Donald Stricklin of Cullman and Leon Stricklin of Tucson, Ariz.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
PHILLIP MICHAEL HUGHES
A memorial service for Phillip Michael Hughes, 62, of Enterprise will be held in Franklin, Pa.
Local arrangements are being handled by Patterson-Sorrells Funeral Home.
Mr. Hughes passed away Thursday, June 1, 2006 at the family residence. He was born May 13, 1944 in Pennsylvania. He moved to Enterprise 20 years ago from California.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara Hughes of Enterprise; mother, Louella Rutledge of Franklin; two daughters, Patte White of Hixson, Tenn. and Chele Bible of Faragut, Tenn.; one stepdaughter, Victoria Watson of Burbank, Calif.; one stepson, Scott Hardin of Weaverville, Calif.; one sister, Beverly Lake of Franklin; brother, David Hughes of Fort Myers, Fla.; and 10 grandchildren.
