Funeral services for Ms. Diane Marie Ryan, age 53 of Prattville, formerly of Clay County, will be Sunday, April 17, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. at Benefield Funeral Home in Lineville with Rev. Ray Milstead officiating. Burial will follow in the Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery.
Ms. Ryan passed away on Thursday, April 14, 2011 at the home of her daughter. She was born in Ohio but lived her early years in Clay County. Diane then relocated to Texas, where she worked for Dow Chemical Company for over 15 years as an electrician. In 1986, she returned to Clay County and worked for Wellborn Cabinet Company for over 10 years. Diane loved to work with her hands and enjoyed re-modeling homes as well as horseback riding.
She is survived by two daughters: Amy Phillips (John) of Dadeville and Tiffany Harkins (Jody) of Prattville; one son, Ty Ryan of Ashland; her father, Jim Studdard Sr. of Lineville; three sisters: Connie Thomas of Lineville, Sharon McDowell of South Carolina and Michelle Studdard of Lineville; three brothers: Everette “Bud” Leeper of Ohio, Jim Studdard Jr. of Lineville and Charles Studdard of Texas plus four grandchildren: Christopher, Corey, Kyle and Colton.
Diane was preceded in death by her mother, Shirley J. Teats Studdard; one brother, Roger Leeper and one nephew, J.J. Leeper.
Pallbearers will be Corey Phillips, Chris Phillips, Reginial Lundy, John Heath, Caleb Green and Joe East.
The family will receive friends at Benefield Funeral Home in Lineville on Saturday, April 16, 2011 from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. and until service time on Sunday.

OXFORD — Funeral services for Lonniel Warren (L.W.) Bain, 89, will be today, August 11, 2008, at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Miller Funeral Home & Crematory with Bro. Jeff Smith, Dr. C.O. Grinstead and the Rev. David Bain officiating. Burial will follow in the Dogwood Trails Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends today from 10 a.m. until service time. Mr. Bain died on Friday at his residence.

Pallbearers will be Jason Bain, Adam Bain, Daniel Bain, Matt Johnson, Jeff Bain, Robby Kimbrough, Micah Junior, Anthony Munroe and Lucas Tripp. Mr. Bain was a resident of Oxford and was a member of Trinity Baptist Church in Oxford. He was an Independent Truck Driver for over 32 years and a veteran of World War II. Mr. Bain was preceded in death by his parents, Henry Albert and Lillie Warren Bain; father and mother-in-law, J.C. and Arilla Munroe and sisters, Evelyn Garner and Elizabeth Bain. The family would like to express their thanks to Anita Collier and the staff of Wiregrass Hospice and the staffs at NHC Camille Court and Stringfellow Memorial Hospital. GADSDEN — Funeral service for Lovella Hutto "Boots" Ledbetter, 93, formerly of Calhoun County, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, August 12, 2008, at Gray Brown Service Chapel with the Rev. Andy Lambert officiating. Burial will follow at Eulaton First Baptist Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior at the funeral home. Ms. Ledbetter went to be with the Lord Saturday, August 9, 2008, in Gadsden.
Survivors include nephews, Lamar Lloyd and wife, Blanche, of Ashville, N.C. and Stanley Beavers and wife, Pam, of Attalla. "Boots" was born in Calhoun County on July 30, 1915. She resided in Calhoun County until she moved to a nursing facility in Gadsden in 2006. She was the oldest living member of Eulaton First Baptist Church and had been a member since the late 1920s. She is preceded in death by her husband, Lee Ledbetter; parents, I.H. and Nancy Hutto; sisters, Evelyn Lloyd and Eva Dell Beavers; and a brother, Charles Hutto. CHALFONT, Pa. — U.S. Army (retired) Staff Sergeant Phillip G. Rockholz, 50, died August 10, 2008 at Doylestown Hospital in Chalfont, Pa. Phillip is survived by his loving wife, Kathryn; three daughters, Kristin Rockholz Burgess, Julie and Vanessa Rockholz; two granddaughters, Jazalyn and Alannah Burgess; his father, William L. Rockholz; and two brothers, John and Peter Rockholz. He was predeceased by his son, Paul and his mother, Phebie. Phillip G. Rockholz was born November 22, 1957 in Norwalk, Conn. to William L. Rockholz and Phebie E. Gardner Rockholz. He served in the U.S. Army from 1976 through 1996. After his retirement, he was employed as a Service Technician for Tri State Bio Medical in Colmar, Pa. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewings from 7-9 p.m. Thursday, August 14, 2008, and from 10-11 a.m. Friday, August 15, 2008, at Scanlin Funeral Home, 175 East Butler Ave. (Route 202), Chalfont. WOODBRIDGE, Va. — U.S. Army Master Sergeant (Retired) Laurie Potter Thomason, 56, of Woodbridge, Virginia died August 7, 2008 at her home. Laurie was born March 22, 1952 to the late Floyd Potter and Lois Davis Potter, formerly of Delta, Ala. She served in the U.S. Army as a Radiology Administrator and retired following 22 years of honorable service.

Mrs. Foster received her BA from The University Of Alabama in 1992. Robin loved our Lord and enjoyed good fellowship. She was a member of the Blue Ridge Ministry, His Answer Ministry, The Cross Ministry, and the Joyce Meyer Ministry.
