LINDA FULLER DOBBS
SYLACAUGA — Funeral service for Linda Fuller Dobbs will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Community Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. James Samuels officiating. Burial will be in Marble City Cemetery.
Ms. Dobbs died Aug. 5.
She is survived by son, David Dale of Atlanta, Ga.; sisters, Betty Richburg of Ft. Walton, Fla., and Carol Taylor of Tucson, Ariz.; brothers, Donald Fuller, Neal Fuller, Jerry Fuller and Nolan Fuller of Atlanta, Ga.; and special friend, Marvin McElrath of Sylacauga.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 9 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
Friends of the family will serve as pallbearers and flowerbearers.
Community Funeral Home will direct the service.
BEATRICE FULMER JOHNSON
TALLADEGA — Funeral service for Beatrice Fulmer Johnson, 87, will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at Kilgroe Funeral Home chapel in Pell City with Elder Barry Cordes, Elder Steve Stathelson and Elder Ernie Stump officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
Mrs. Johnson died Aug. 7 at her residence. She was a member of Beulah Primitive Baptist Church in Leeds and was preceded in death by her husband, James W. Johnson and son, Thomas C. Johnson.
She is survived by daughters, Mildred (June) Stathelson and Jeanette Zachero of Talladega; six grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; brother, George Fulmer of South Carolina; sister, Thelma Daffron of Talladega and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 5:30 until 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Southern Care Hospice, 137 Franklin St., Alexander City, Ala., 35010.
Great-grandsons, Wayne Davis, Nik Cordes, Landon Cordes, Ben Cordes, Anthony Zachero and Austin Zachero, will serve as pallbearers.
Kilgroe Funeral Home in Pell City will direct the service.
ESHAILA AMORISSA BAKER
TALLADEGA — Graveside service for infant Eshaila Amorissa Baker will be Saturday at 4 p.m. in Pine Hill Memorial Park in Talladega.
The infant died Aug. 6 at Citizens BMC. She was preceded in death by great-grandfather, Junior Baker.
She is survived by her parents, Steven and Devin Baker of Talladega; brother, Ethan Randall of Talladega; sister, Emaya Randall of Talladega; grandparents, Sheshonee and Johnny Smith of Talladega, Johnny and Felicia Gallahair of Talladega, Susan and Johnny Forman of Ashland and Jerry and Marie Baker of Lineville and great-grandparents, Sylvia and Frank Hill of Talladega, Annie Lou Baker of Ashland and Howard Gallahair of Talladega.
Family and friends will serve as honorary pallbearers.

ANNISTON — Funeral service for Coletha Crankfield, 67, will be Saturday at noon at 18th St. Church of God in Christ in Anniston with the Rev. Rozell Rovell officiating. Burial will be in Edgemont Cemetery
in Anniston.
Mrs. Crankfield died Aug. 4 at Regional Medical Center. She was preceded in death by her husband, Theodore Crankfield; her parents, Robert Lee and Cora Walker and her stepfather, A.B. Walker.
She is survived by son, James Anthony Redwine of Anniston; sister, Pauline Moten of Atlanta, Ga.; and brothers, Isiah Lee and Robert Stewart Lee of Anniston.
Nephews, cousins and friends will serve as pallbearers.
Ervin Funeral Chapel will direct the service.

TALLADEGA — Essie Mae Cunningham, of 909 1/2 Cruikshank St., died Aug. 7 at her residence.

MILDRED LOUISE DUNCAN
ALEXANDER CITY — Funeral service for Mildred Louise Duncan, 74, will be Saturday at 3 p.m. at Benefield Funeral Home chapel in Ashland with the Rev. Jim Arnall officiating. Burial will be in Bethel Christian Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Duncan died Aug. 7 at Russell Medical Center in Alexander City. She was a native of Tuscaloosa County, had lived most of her life in Talladega County and had lived the past four years in Alexander City. She was a homemaker and a member of Talladega Springs Full Gospel Tabernacle. She was preceded in death by a son, Thomas L. Gordon and a sister, Elizabeth Wood.
She is survived by son, Steve Gordon of Goodwater; sisters, Martha Hall of Eastaboga, Elsie Harris of Anniston, Faye DeBlasie of Brooklyn, N.Y., and Annie Ruth Roberson of Pace, Fla.; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home until service time.

HUGH MILTON MERRELL
WEOGUFKA — Funeral service for Hugh Milton Merrell, 67, will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at Curtis and Son Funeral Home South chapel with the Rev. Larry Lindley officiating. Burial will be in Grimes Chapel Church Cemetery.
Mr. Merrell died Aug. 8 at his residence. He was born and raised in Fayetteville and graduated from Fayetteville High School in 1956. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and was retired from Kimberly Clark Corporation with 35 years of service. He was preceded in death by his parents, Kelley and Edna Merrell and one brother, Winston Merrell. He was a member of Weogufka Masonic Lodge and Grimes Chapel Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Eloise Merrell of Weogufka; son, Wendell Hugh Merrell and wife Michelle of Weogufka; daughters, Yvonne M. Robinson and husband Jeff of Sylacauga and Kristal M. Deason and husband James of Sylacauga; brother, Ellis Ralph Merrell of Kahatchie; sisters, Annette Merrell of Sylacauga, Marion DeLoach of Fayetteville and Ruby Walker of Sylacauga; grandchildren, Emily Robinson, Justin Robinson, Josh Cosper, Hanna Merrell and Reagan Merrell and great-grandchild, Dylan Robinson.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 5 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Fred Rayfield, Bill Bowden, Glenn Strozier, Justin Robinson, Barry Walker, Daryl Bryant, Josh Cosper and Adam Grimes.
Honorary pallbearers will be John Moore, Fred Ferguson, Horace Farris, Jack Pressley, James Harvell, Ernest Perry, Houston Bryant, Rick Danford, Theompolis Perkins, John Lenn, Jerry Johnston and Mack Lee.

TALLADEGA — Walter Hap (Pop) Mitchell, 76, died Aug. 8 at his residence.
Funeral arrangements will be announced by Talladega Funeral Home.

ASHLAND — Funeral service for Slaughter Roberson, 90, will be Saturday at noon at Mt. Zion Baptist Church with the Rev. Richard East and the Rev. Malcolm Robinson officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mr. Roberson died Aug. 7 at University Hospital in Birmingham. He was a native and lifelong resident of Clay County, was a farmer and a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dillie G. Roberson.
He is survived by daughters, Velma Nappier and Thelma Davis of Ashland; son, Jasper Roberson of Ashland; eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home until 11 a.m. Saturday.
The body may be viewed at the church from 11:30 a.m. until service time.

HOOVER — Howard Saylor, 88, died Aug. 8 at Ashton Gables in Hoover.
He is survived by daughter, Laura Waldrip of Alpine.

ASHVILLE — James Roy Wadsworth, 34, died Aug. 8 in Ashville.
He is survived by his father, William Van Wadsworth Jr. (Betty) of Pell City; sisters, Cheryl Wadsworth (Danny Gleason) and Laura Wadsworth of Pell City; brothers, Jerry Wadsworth of Ashville and Terry Wadsworth of Talladega; special friend, Bob Lambert of Pell City and a host of nieces and nephews.
