Mrs. Jeffreys died Monday, March 3, 1997, at Medical Center Shoals.
She was born in Colbert County to James P. and Ellen Lowery and was the wife of the late W. Edard Jeffreys. Mrs. Jeffreys was a member of Harmony Freewill Baptist Church.
She is survived by three sons, Edard Jeffreys Jr., James Jeffreys and Gary Jeffreys, all of Town Creek; a daughter, Joyce Willis of Town Creek; three brothers, Maurice Lowery of Leighton, Neil Lowery and Hollis Lowery, both of Town Creek; two sisters, Fannie Lee Boyd and Mildred Berryman, both of Town Creek; seven grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Nephews were the pallbearers.

Hettie Louise Young died Tuesday, March 4, 1997, at National Healthcare Center in Moulton.
The funeral was held Saturday, March 8, noon, at Freeman Tabernacle Baptist Church with the Rev. H.N. Snodgrass officiating.
Burial was in the Moulton Cemetery with Reynolds Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. Young was born in Lawrence County and was a member of Freeman Tabernacle Baptist Church.
She is survived by three sons, Marshell Young, Ernest Young and Limos Young, all of Moulton; five daughters, Minnie Gholston of Mount Hope, Florence Young and Elizabeth Jones, both of Moulton, Annie Gossett of Spartenburg, S.C. and the Rev. Sammela Young of Aliquippa, Penn.; one brother, Sam Fuller of Detroit; four sisters, Ida Mae Priest of Moulton, Gladys McGhee of Dayton, Ohio, Molly McDozzer of Columbus, Ohio and Mahalia Priest of Pennsylvania; 32 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
Grandsons were the pallbearers.

Funeral for Healon E. Lloyd, who dies Wednesday, March 5, 1997, at West Morgan Health Care Center, was held Monday, March 19. The 1 p.m. service was held at Byler Road Church of Christ with Freeman Malone Jr. officiating.
Burial was in the Moulton Memory Gardens with Thompson and Son Funeral Home of Florence directing.
Mrs. Lloyd was born in Lawrence County, was a lifelong resident of Law-rence County and a member of Byler Road Church of Christ. She also par-ticipated in the Alabama A&M University Home Extension program.
Survivors include one son, Wessley Lloyd of Industry, Pa.; three daughters, Louise Jackson of Moulton, Jorean Webb of Canton, Ohio and Annie M. Adams of Jackson, Tenn.; one sister, Myrtle Jackson of Moulton; 25 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Steve Jackson, Randy Jackson, James McDaniel, Daryl Pointer, Darnell Truss and Gerald Cross.

Mrs. Johnson died Sunday, March 2, 1997, at Decatur General Hospital.
She was born in Morgan County and was a member of Love Chapel CME Church.
Survivors include her husband, Abraham Johnson; five sons, Sammy Wayne Johnson and David Johnson, both of Hartselle, Lincoln Johnson and James Johnson, both of Decatur and Curtis Johnson of Trinity; four daughters, Rose Orr, Sonya Mason and Tammy Staten, all of Decatur and Linda Wiggins of Huntsville; three brothers, Sammy Freeman of Hillsboro, John Freeman of Courtland and Willie Freeman Jr. Of Canada; five sisters, Elizabeth Pickett and Pearline Boykins, both of Decatur, Nancy Robinson and Sally Fuqua, both of Huntsville and Mildred Crutcher of Courtland; 19 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Donald Johnson, Sammy Bouldin, Daryl Mosely, Carl Johnson, Albert Elliott and Eugene Cohn.

Mr. McGuire died Tuesday, March 4, 1997, at his home.
Mr. McGuire was born in Lawrence County and was a member of Jackson Chapel Christian Methodist Episcopal Church. He was also a retired farmer.
He is survived by his wife, Mollie McGuire; two daughters, Pearlie B. Wilson of Russellville and Nellie Williams of Decatur; two brothers, West Mayes of North Courtland and Lennie Mayes of Lima, Ohio; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Ricky Gholston, Roneal Gholston, Ennis Willingham, Sam Willingham, Tommy James Elliott and Andrew Smith Jr.

Mr. Miller died Wednesday, March 5, 1997, at Huntsville Hospital.
He was born in Lawrence County and was a member of Bethlehem Primitive Baptist Church, where he served as chairman of the trustee board and was a member of the choir. He was employed at Wyker’s for 33 years.
Survivors include his wife, Willie Ann Miller; one daughter, Ruth Clay of Hillsboro; one brother, Marvin Miller of Hillsboro; five sisters, Hortense Miller and Barbara Jones, both of Hillsboro, Fannie Sanford of Courtland, Nina Davis of Decatur and Kay Miller of Huntsville; 10 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Walton Gray, Rubin Bankhead Jr., Donald Prince, Frank Birgan, Claude Hampton and Rodney Carter.

Mr. Heflin died Monday, March 17, 1997, at Princeton Hospital in Birmingham.
He was born in Lawrence County to Clarence and Ida Heflin. Mr. Heflin was a veteran of World War II, a member of Mountain Home Baptist Church and the Gideons Bible Association. He was retired from Mutual Savings Insurance after 23 years of service.
He is survived by his wife, Juanita Plant Heflin; two sons, Richard A. Heflin Jr. Of Moulton and Timothy Keith Heflin of Hartselle; three daughters, Janet Peymani of Moulton, Daryl Berryman of Hatton and Tammy Heflin Luter of Hartselle; four stepsons, Phil Lancaster and Kirk Lancaster, both of Decatur, Joey Lancaster of Trinity and Danny Lancaster of Athens; three stepdaughters, Janice Landers and Tina Reed, both of Trinity and Angela Roberts of Hillsboro; three brothers, Thomas Heflin of Trinity, Clarence Heflin of Courtland and Fred Heflin of Sylacauga; one sister, Virginia Terry of Hillsboro; 27 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
