SYLACAUGA — Funeral service for Hilda Marie Harris, 79, will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Radney-Smith Funeral Home chapel in Sylacauga with the Rev. David Rozelle officiating. Burial will be in Providence Cemetery.
Mrs. Harris died July 30. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Lee Harris Sr.
She is survived by daughter, Dianne Rayfield and husband Larry Rayfield of Sylacauga; son, Charles Lee Harris Jr. and wife Melissa Harris of Rockford; brothers, Bill Collins and Foy Collins of Rockford; sisters, Geraldine Turner and Margie Sullivan of Rockford, Mary Holt of Elmore County and Ann Kelly of Montgomery; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

PELL CITY — Funeral service for Newton Junior Smith, 74, will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Usrey-Chapel Hill Funeral Home in Pell City. Burial will be in Dunnavant Cemetery.
Mr. Smith died July 30.
He is survived by his wife, Elvie Smith of Pell City, and sons, Jerry Lee Smith and Richard Earl Smith of Pell City.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 9 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.

SYLACAUGA — Funeral service for Magnolia H. Haynes, 92, will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Curtis and Son Funeral Home North chapel with the Rev. David Mann and the Rev. Jim Bolton officiating. Burial will be in Munford Church of Christ Cemetery.
Mrs. Haynes died July 30 at Sylacauga Health Care. She was a member of Munford Church of Christ, was a native of Munford and had been in Sylacauga Health Care for the past several years.
She is survived by daughters, Betty H. Moore of Weogufka and Norma J. Ekholm of Springfield, Mo.; sister, Blanche Barker of Chattanooga, Tenn.; four grandsons and nine great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Joey Moore, Josh Moore, Elmo Hindman, Bill Hindman, Herbert Haynes and Bobby Haynes.
Curtis and Son Funeral Home North Chapel will direct the service.

RAGLAND — Funeral service for Eugene Vernon Hollaway, 82, will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at Usrey-Chapel Hill Funeral Home chapel in Pell City. Burial will be in Macedonia Cemetery
in Ragland.
Mr. Hollaway died July 30 at Gadsden Regional Medical Center. He was a beloved husband and father. He was a veteran of World War II and received the Purple Heart and the Gold Leaf Cluster.
He is survived by his wife, Lillie M. Hollaway of Ragland; daughter, Judy Freeman of Ball Play; sons, Travis E. Hollaway, Randy R. Hollaway and James Thomas Hollaway of Ragland; sister, Essie Wright of Anniston; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 6 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

PELL CITY — Funeral service for Edna Adele Jackson, 71, will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Usrey-Chapel Hill Funeral Home chapel in Pell City with the Rev. J.D. Wales officiating. Burial will be in St. Clair Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Jackson died July 31 at Medical Center East.
She is survived by her husband, Johnny J. Jackson of Pell City; daughter, Patricia Lynn Kliebert of Corona, Calif.; son, Jeffrey Wayne Jackson of Oklahoma City, Okla.; three grandsons and one granddaughter.
Pallbearers will be Jeffrey Wayne Jackson, Rian Patrick Jackson, Nick Kliebert, Carter Jackson and Preston Cooper.

SYLACAUGA — Celebration of Life service for Charles (Chuck) L. Qualls Jr., 50, will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at Mignon Baptist Church with the Rev. Todd Reaves, the Rev. Dan Seale and the Rev. Jimmy Dale Abrams officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery.
Mr. Qualls died July 31 at his residence. He was a deacon and Sunday school director at Mignon Baptist Church and was an Alabama State umpire.
He is survived by his wife, Cavita Mims Qualls of Sylacauga; mother, Irene Qualls of Sylacauga; son, Chastin Qualls of Sylacauga; daughter-in-law, Myra Qualls of Sylacauga; grandson, Cade Qualls of Sylacauga; and in-laws, Mr. and Mrs. Norman Mims of Sylacauga.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 6 until 8 p.m. at Mignon Baptist Church.
Pallbearers will be Chris Carden, Danny Gill, Eddie Varnadore, James Maddox, David Hicks, Stewart Smith, Brent Atchley and L.C. McMurphy.
Deacons of Mignon Baptist Church will serve as honorary pallbearers.

LINEVILLE — Memorial service for Robert Paul Simons, 62, will be Monday at 3 p.m. at Rachel Scott's residence, 860 Crooked Creek Circle in Lineville.
Mr. Simons died July 27 at Clay County Nursing Home. He was a native of Macon, Ga., and was a former resident of Heflin. He was a cab driver for Yellow Cab in Atlanta, Ga., and was a Christian by faith.
He is survived by daughter, Rachel Scott of Lineville; and two grandchildren.
Benefield Funeral Home in Lineville is in charge of the arrangements.

ANNISTON — Graveside service for Ja'Nighya Neshay West, 2 weeks old, will be Sunday at 2 p.m. in Eden Hills Cemetery
in Anniston with the Rev. Lynnwood Westbrooks officiating.
The infant died July 31 at The Children's Hospital in Birmingham.
She is survived by her mother, Brittanie West of Anniston; father, Jamereon (J.C.) Cunningham of Oxford; grandparents, George West Sr., Lisa Marquez and Jackie Cunningham; great-grandparent, Bobbie West of Anniston; and great-great-grandparent, Martha Beaham.
Friends of the family will serve as pallbearers.
Anniston Funeral Service will direct the service.

Mrs. Williams died Aug. 1 at Terrace Oaks Care and Rehab.
She is survived by sisters, Alice Rowl of Phenix City and Peggy Hillhouse and Jane Gonzales of Columbus, Ga., and brother, Marshall Williams of Phenix City.

ANNISTON — Bishop Henry W. Winston, 72, died Aug. 1 at Regional Medical Center.

LINEVILLE — Funeral service for Myron L. Young, 76, will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at Olive Branch Baptist Church with Brother Wayne Adams, Brother Bruce Willis and Brother Stephen Young officiating. Burial will be in Lineville City Cemetery.
Mr. Young died July 31 at Lineville Nursing Facility. He was a native and lifelong resident of Clay County and was retired from Ace Products and from Ingram Motor Company after 27 years as an auto body technician and mechanic. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Navy in the Philippines for four years. He was a member of Olive Branch Baptist Church and was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Young, and three brothers, Earl Young, Cleveland Young and Tildon Young.
He is survived by daughter, Lynn Young of Athens, Ga.; sons, Mike Young and Bobby Young of Lineville, Ricky Young of Ashland and Larry Young of Valley; sisters, Sara Burns of Birmingham, Lucille Blankenship of Langdale and Virginia Birchfield and Kathlene Browning of Ashland; brothers, Harold Young and Perry Young of Lineville; 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Jim McCellan, Ronnie Robinson, Hubert Hallman, Ed Wesley, Jerry Wesley and Rusty Camp.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home until one hour before the service.
The body may be viewed at the church for one hour before the service.
