Clara Wilkerson Clausell, 67, died Tuesday, Nov. 7, 2006 at Providence Hospital in Mobile.
Clausell was a native of Monroeville and had lived in Monroe County her whole life. She was a retired cook from Monroeville Elementary School and a member of Bethel Baptist Church of Monroeville.
Survivors include two sons, Fredrick (Rachel) Clausell of Burnt Corn and LeVonne (April) Clausell of Evergreen; five daughters, Debra (Fredric) Ruldolph of Belleville, Marion C. (Terrell) Jefferson of Columbus, Ohio, Joyce Clausell of Monroeville, Anita (Dan) Nettles and Sharon (Chris) Biggs, all of Atlanta, Ga.; one brother, James Wilkerson of Monroeville; three sisters, Willie B. Broughton of Monroeville, Patricia Tucker of Huntsville and Malvenice Adams of Pensacola; and eight grandchildren.
Services were held on Monday, Nov. 13 at 1 p.m. at Bethel Baptist Church with Rev. Ywell Cunningham, pastor, officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery.
Franklin Ira Hetherington III

Franklin Ira Hetherington III, 52, of Fountain died Friday, Nov. 10, 2006 in a Mobile hospital.
Hetherington was a native and life long resident of Monroe County. He was a member of the Fountain Baptist Church.
He is survived by his mother, Edith Hetherington of Monroeville; two sons, Franklin Ira Hetherington IV of Beaumont, Texas, Robert Shawn Hetherington of Fountain; two daughters, Sandra Gaddy of Mayer, Minn., Pamela Coty Mitchell of Beaumont; three sisters, Diane Dixon of Thomasville, Denise Goldman of Monroeville, Mira Reaves of Bermuda and seven grandchildren.
Services were held on Monday, Nov. 13 at 2 p.m. at the Fountain Baptist Church with the Rev. Buddy Williams officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery.
Marion Yvonne McDonald
Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home, Brewton
Marion Yvonne McDonald, 71, of Repton died Friday, Nov. 10, 2006 at his residence.
McDonald was a native and lifelong resident of Conecuh Co. and a retired school bus driver, farmer and logger. He was of the Baptist faith and former fire chief for the Range VFD.
Survivors include his wife, Romona Ross McDonald of Range; three sons, Johnny (Carol) McDonald of Range, Steve (Jackie) McDonald and Eddie (Connie) McDonald, all of Repton; one sister, Helen (Carl) Reed of Monroeville and four grandchildren.
Services were held on Monday, Nov. 13 at 2 p.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Bobby Boatwright and Rev. Carl Reed Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Springhill Methodist Cemetery in Lenox.
Ouida Rena (Hurst) Neuman
Lewis Funeral Home, Navarre, Fla.
Funeral services for Ouida Rena Neuman were held on Friday, Oct. 27, 2006 at 3 p.m. at the Lewis Funeral Home Chapel in Navarre, Fla. with Rev. John Stacey officiating. Burial followed in Harper Cemetery.
Neuman had lived at the Parthenon Healthcare Center in Ft. Walton Beach, Fla. for the past 2-1/2 years and was a member of Billory Baptist Church in Holley, Fla.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Donna Ann (Baldwin) Harrison and three brothers, James Hurst, Jerry Hurst and Johnny Hurst.
Survivors include two sons, Donnie (Aylene) Baldwin of Tacoma, Wash. and Jerry Baldwin of California; five sisters, Jackie (Ray) Shibler of Holley, Mary Schmeisser of Navarre, Martha (Glen) Broxson of Pace, Fla., Bobbie (Joe) Broxson of Holley, Janice (Carl) Jones of Holley; and seven grandchildren.
Delois Grayson Baker

Delois Grayson Baker, 67, of San Francisco, Calif. died Tuesday, Dec. 19, 2006.
Baker was a native of Monroe County and lived in the county 35 years. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include two sons, Issac Grayson and Johnny Baker of San Francisco; two daughters, Marilyn (Richard) Grayson of Alameda, Calif. and Della Faye (Richard) Grayson of Davis, Va.; a brother, Jimmy (Teri) Brown of Morganville, N.J.; two sisters, Lillie (Roosevelt) Lett of Repton and Della (James) Hatcher of Milwaukee, Wis. and two grandsons.
Services were held Saturday, Dec. 30 at 11 a.m. at Unity and Charity of Excel with Overseer Leroy Rudolph officiating. Burial followed in Monroe Beulah.
Earl “Winston” Bell
Monroe Chapel, Monroeville
Earl “Winston” Bell, 84, of Repton died Thursday, Dec. 28, 2006 in Brewton.
Bell was a lifelong resident of Conecuh County. He was a member of the Springhill United Methodist Church where he was a trustee and served as Chairman of all building projects. He was also a trustee for the Lenox Community Center. He served on the County Committee for the Farmers Home Administration and was a veteran of WWII. He retired from Container Corporation of America, now Smurfit-Stone Corporation, after 28 years of service where he worked as a loader/checker.
He was preceded in death by a son, Lawrence Mitchell Bell.
Survivors include his wife, Rosalie Bethune Bell of Repton; two sons, Earl Bethune (Deborah) Bell of Repton and Albert Keith Bell of Repton and two sisters, Mary Guy of Excel and Lynette Cumbie of Pensacola, Fla.
Services were held Saturday, Dec. 30 at 10 a.m. at Springhill United Methodist Church with Rev. Thomas Smith officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery.
The family request that in lieu of flowers that memorials be made to the Springhill United Methodist Church, 1619 Winston Bell Road, Repton, Ala. 36475.
Janetta C. Falls

Janetta C. Falls, 78, of Belleville died Thursday, Dec. 28, 2006 in Monroeville.
Falls was an active member of the Belleville Southern Baptist Church and was involved in missions.
Survivors include her husband, Robert E. Falls Jr. of Belleville; three daughters, Janeene (Jim) Holly of Ft. Walton Beach, Fla., Nancy (Tim) Morgan of Gulf Breeze, Fla. and Jo Ann (Dave) Porter of Wheaten, Ill., five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Services were held Saturday, Dec. 30 at 2 p.m. at Belleville Southern Baptist Church with Rev. Stephen Yuhasz officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery.
The family request that in lieu of flowers that memorials be made to the Belleville Southern Baptist Church Mission Fund or the Alabama Baptist Children’s Home.
Nettie “Bernice” Griffin

Nettie “Bernice” Griffin, 89, of Franklin died Wednesday, Dec. 27, 2006 at Monroe County Hospital.
Griffin was a lifelong resident of Franklin and was a member of the Springhill Baptist, Inc. Church in Franklin. She had worked as a sales lady in the clothing department for the Bedsole’s Store here in Monroeville for many years.
Survivors include her husband, Clifton S. Griffin of Franklin; one son, Dale (Janice) Griffin of Franklin; one daughter, Glenda Kelly of Pine Hill; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Services were held Friday, Dec. 29 at 10 a.m. at the Springhill Baptist, Inc. Church with Rev. John Siegler and Rev. Jimmy Griffin officiating. Burial followed in the Deer-Corinth Cemetery in Franklin.
