ATMORE - Mr. Charlie Gray, 50, of Atmore died Friday, Nov. 12, 2010 at Baptist Hospital in Pensacola, Fla.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 20, 2010 at Jones Street Holiness Church. Viewing will be held from 2 p.m. until 7 p.m. Friday at Christian Memorial Funeral Home.

Hamlin, George Richard

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Trinity Baptist Church for George Richard Hamlin, 71, Gadsden, who died Saturday, Aug. 2, 2003. Bros. Paul Campbell and Ronnie Holmes will officiate. Burial in Fairview Baptist Church Cemetery. Morgan Funeral Chapel & Crematory is directing.
Mr. Hamlin was a member of Trinity Baptist Church, active in all church functions, especially AWANA's program. He did volunteer mission work bricking churches in Arkansas, Tennessee and Kansas and a dormitory for homeless boys in Bolivia. He was preceded in death by his father, George Hamlin; sister, Janet Cox; and brother, Fred Hamlin.
He is survived by his wife, Hazel Guthery Hamlin, Gadsden; mother, Eunice Clayton Hamlin, Gadsden; daughters, Shelia (Mike) Hamlin, Georgia, Brenda (Gary) Smith, Oneonta, Kim Sanford, Huntsville, and Toni (Darrell) Dunn, Gadsden; son, Joe Hamlin, Attalla; sisters, Marlene Wilson, Texas, Sherry (Harold) Wisener, Connecticut, and Jodi Hamlin, Gadsden; stepchildren, Tommy Guthery, Michael (Pam) Guthery, Susan (Jeff) Ford, Phillip (Linda) Guthery, Steve Guthery, Mark (Tara) Guthery and Chris Guthery, all of Gadsden; 22 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Travis Atkins, Tommy Lindsey, James Thompson, Ervin Buchanan, Kip Walden, Chris Tinsley, Chuck Dunn and Robert Teague.
Honorary pallbearers will be Drs. Rowe and Phamar, fifth floor Riverview Regional, Etowah County Hospice, Will Clay and New Testament Church Planning.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Trinity Baptist Church's AWANA's or Missions Programs.
The body will lie-in-state one hour prior to service Monday.
Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8.

George Wilton Armstrong
Johnson Funeral Home, Monroeville
George Wilton Armstrong, 70, died Wednesday, Nov. 1, 2006 at Springhill Memorial Hospital in Mobile.
Armstrong was a native of the Bryneville Community in Escambia County, Fla. and a resident of Repton most of his life. He had worked in construction as a heavy equipment operator and had served in the U.S. Army.
Survivors include one daughter, Debbie (Jerry) Waters of Monroeville; three brothers, Herman Armstrong of Bryneville, Clayton Armstrong of Pea Ridge, Fla., Virgil Armstrong of Flomaton; one sister, Helen Armstrong of Bryneville; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Services were held on Saturday, Nov. 4 at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Johnson Funeral Home with Rev. Shelton Kindig, Rev. Joe Lee and Rev. Paul Armstrong officiating. Burial will follow in Repton Baptist Cemetery.
Roy Lee Bonner Jr.
Monroe Chapel, Monroeville
Roy Lee Bonner Jr., 31, died Thursday, Nov. 2, 2006 in Frisco City.
Bonner was a lifelong resident of Monroe County and resided in Frisco City. He worked with Alabama River Newsprint Company as a paper maker for the past five years and was a member of Mexia AOH Church.
He was preceded in death by his father, Roy Bonner Sr. and two brothers, Curtis Bonner and Troy Bonner.
Survivors include his wife, Shannon Bonner of Frisco City; his mother, Mary Bonner of Monroeville; two sons, Christian Bonner of Monroeville and Roy Lee Bonner III of Frisco City; a step-son, Kyalo Coleman of Frisco City; four brothers, Preston Bonner of Repton, Steven Bonner, Bobby Bonner and Robert Bonner, all of Monroeville; four sisters, Jackie Packer of Monroeville, Pamela Williams of Ollie, Kimberly Wallace of Frisco City and Tammy Childs of Mexia.
Services were held Wednesday, Nov. 8 at 2 p.m. at Mexia AOH Church with Elder Darius Chapman officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery.
