FANNIE LOU HOLLIS
RAGLAND — Graveside funeral service for Fannie Lou Hollis, 76, will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. in Forrest Crest Cemetery
in Irondale with the Rev. William David Johnson and the Rev. T. Keith Hollis officiating.
Mrs. Hollis died June 28 at her residence. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thedford J. Hollis Sr., and a grandson, James Roy Johnson.
She is survived by one daughter, Phyllis A. Archer and husband Jim of Crainhill; two sons, Jimmy F. Hollis and wife Sherri of Rye, Texas, and Thedford Hollis Jr. and wife Sandra of Ragland; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and a host of brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews.
The family will accept relatives Monday from 5 to 6 p.m. and friends from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Usrey Funeral Home Chapel Hill will direct the service.

ANNISTON — Funeral service for William Lawson, 63, will be Monday at 1 p.m. at Anniston Funeral Service chapel with the Rev. Marcus Dunn Sr. officiating.
Mr. Lawson died June 25 at Jacksonville Medical Center.
He is survived by his wife, Martha Lawson of Anniston; three sons, Alvin Lawson of Anniston, Gary Lawson of Savannah, Ga., and Marcus Jones of Chicago; one daughter, Vickie Lawson of Gadsden; five sisters, Bernice James and Perline Jenkins of Anniston, Rossie Dobbins of Jacksonville, Beatrice Tatum of Goodwater and Mary Helen Sharp of Meridian, Miss.; three brothers, Cecil Lawson and Jack Lawson of Enterprise and Edward Lawson of Lawrenceville, Ga.; and 28 grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be friends of the family.
Honorary pallbearers will be Brother of Thomas A. Williams Elks Lodge 1668.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Diabetes. Association.
Anniston Funeral Service will direct the service.

MELISSA M. POOLE
PELL CITY — Funeral service for Melissa M. Poole, 44, will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at Usrey Funeral Home Chapel Hill with the Rev. Ken Jones officiating. Burial will be in St. Clair Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Poole died June 27 at St. Clair Regional Medical Center. She was a loving wife and sister and was employed by St. Clair Regional Medical Center for the past seven years.
She is survived by her husband, Charles Poole of Pell City; two sisters, Sarah Morrow Bright and Melody Jones of Pell City; two brothers, Shelton Rex Morrow Jr. of Lincoln and Christopher Dean Morrow of Springfield; three nieces; and four nephews.
Pallbearers will be Josh Bright, David Morrow, Richard Morrow, Thomas Morrow, Christopher Morrow and Robert Morrow.
Usrey Funeral Home Chapel Hill will direct the service.

CHILDERSBURG — Betty Jean Goodman Chaney, 73, died June 29 at Coosa Valley BMC.

WEOGUFKA — Funeral service for Minnie Ezekiel, 83, will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Unity Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Charles E. Sims officiating. Burial will be in Unity Presbyterian Cemetery.
Mrs. Ezekiel died June 29 at Brookwood Medical Center. She was a lifelong resident of the Weogufka area, was an active member of Unity Presbyterian Church, active member of Presbyterian Women's Group, member of Coosa County Cow Bells and was a grandmother to everyone she met. She was preceded in death by a son, Billy Floyd Ezekiel.
She is survived by her husband, Lodis Ezekiel; daughters, Donna Helm and husband Randy of Weogufka and Judy Woodard and husband Randy of Fayetteville; sons, Bobby Ezekiel and wife Ann of Weogufka and Tim Ezekiel and wife Gail of Weogufka; brother, Jimmy Lowery of Conyers, Ga.; sisters, Thelma Nicholson of Goodwater, Myrle Holochwost of Long Island, N.Y., Ouida Hayes of Carrollton, Ga., and Jeanette Harrison of Childersburg; sister-in-law, Jewel Lowery of Alexander City; 13 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 5:30 until 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
The body may be viewed Wednesday from 1 until 2 p.m. at the church.
Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
The family will accept flowers or donations may be made to Presbyterian Women at Unity Presbyterian or Unity Presbyterian Cemetery

DOROTHY JEMISON
STERRETT — Funeral service for Dorothy (Dot) Jemison, 68, will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Kilgroe Funeral Home chapel in Pell City with the Rev. Rickey Patterson and the Rev. Phil Smith officiating. Burial will be in Lawley's Chapel.
Mrs. Jemison died June 28. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Mable Davis, and her husband, Pete Jemison. She was a lifelong resident of Sterrett and was a member of Davis Chapel Freewill Baptist Church. She was well known in the Sterrett community for her love of flowers. She worked many hours in her greenhouse and yard, making the community a more beautiful area in which to live.
She is survived by sons, Gerald and Rita Jemison of Sterrett, Gary and Penny Jemison of Sterrett and Glenn and Bambi Jemison of Moody; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brothers, Alton David of Leeds and Carlton David of Sterrett; sisters, Patsy Knox of Fairfield and Faye Smith of Eastaboga; several nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.

Mrs. Lee died June 29. She was preceded in death by a son, Marshall M. Lee.
She is survived by sons, Linden Roy Lee and Harlan G. Lee of Pell City; grandchildren, Alicia Fulk, Roy D. Lee, Kathy McDonald, Harry Lee, Jean Kitchens, Cathy Goodwin and Jimmy McBurnett; 11 great-grandchildren; and sisters, Mary Kilgore of Pell City and Anna Givens of Leeds.

in Sylacauga.
Mrs. McGalliard died June 28. She was a member of Lakeview Baptist Church in Phenix City and was a member of the Eastern Star Wilson Williams Chapter No. 73 in Phenix City.
She is survived by her husband, Wallace McGalliard of Weogufka; son, Kenny Rich of California; stepsons, Glenn McGalliard of Westover and Reggie McGalliard of Weogufka; brother, Kenneth Gallman of Livingston; and her mother, Evelyn Gallman of Phenix City.

RAGLAND — Funeral service for Tonya Renee McGuffie, 30, will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Usrey-Chapel Hill Funeral Home chapel in Pell City. Burial will be in Providence Cemetery.
Mrs. McGuffie died June 27.

MATTIE GRIFFIN LOVE RITCH
TALLADEGA — Funeral service for Mattie Griffin Love Ritch, 100, will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Ridgeview Baptist Church in Talladega with the Rev. John Love officiating. Burial will be in Pine Hill Memorial Park.
Mrs. Ritch died June 30 at her residence. She was a native of Clay County and had been a resident of Talladega for the past 65 years. She was a member of Ridgeview Baptist Church and was a homemaker.
She is survived by daughter, Edna Sue Pitts of San Antonio, Texas; stepdaughters, Nellie Duffie and Elsie Mae Kelley of Leeds; son, Huel M. Love Sr. of Talladega; stepsons, Lawrence Ritch of Talladega and Robert Ritch of Leeds; sisters, Annie Grizzle and Lula Griffin; brothers, Robert James Griffin, Homer Griffin and Jessie Griffin; 16 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
Deacons of Ridgeview Baptist Church and grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends at the church for one hour before the service.

PELL CITY — Funeral service for Margarette Tollison, 69, will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Kilgroe Funeral Home chapel in Pell City with the Rev. J.D. Wales officiating. Burial will be in Oak Ridge Community Cemetery.
Mrs. Tollison died June 30.
She is survived by son, Elton Tollison (Diane) of Pell City; daughter, Donna Fredriksen of Pell City; and grandchildren, Stephen, Jennifer and George Fredriksen and Kelsey and Ryan Tollison.
