"I can only research Gaston Co. I go to the library at least twice a week. I have access to the obits from the [local] paper. The census records from 1850-1880. Marriage records 1848-1901. Death records 1913-1970. I also go to the Gaston County Courthouse at least once a week. There I have access to the birth,death & marriage records. I am also transcribing Greenwood Cemetery in Belmont, NC. I am going one step further & finding parents of who is buried in the cemetery." |
