John Chapman Childress, 81, of Lewisville died May 3 at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born August 31, 1925, in Wilkes County to the late Charlie and Betty Childress. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Robert Childress; a sister; and a brother.
Surviving are his wife, Egea Maria Childress; children Victor Childress, John Childress and wife Debra, Deborah Childress and David Childress; stepson Jim Doring and wife Cheryll; sisters Louise Moser, Virginia Drain and Betty Stanley; brothers Bobby Childress and Claude Childress; several grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and several friends.
Funeral services were held at Gentry Family Chapel with Dr. Ray Hamilton officiating. military rites were given by Yadkin VFW Post 10346.
Hallie Jackson Craft
Hallie Jackson Craft, 95, of Vienna Village, Pfafftown, and formerly of Lewisville died April 30. She was born October 8, 1911, in Surry County, the daughter of Henry P. and Fannie Pardue Jackson. She was a member of Concord United Methodist Church in Lewisville, which she loved. She was retired from AT&T. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl L. Craft Sr.; and sons Carl L. Craft Jr. and Melton Craft and wife Martha Ann.
Surviving are daughter Dorothy Songer and husband Bill of Clemmons; a daughter-in-law, Viola Craft of Winesburg, Ohio; six grandchildren, Randy and Karen Songer of Clemmons, Daryl Gillis of Winston-Salem Dale and Linda Craft of North Wilkesboro, Carl L. Craft III and Donna of New Jersey, Walter and Elizabeth Craft of Missouri and Neil and Amanda Songer of Manteo; two stepgrandchildren, Carlene Songer of Winston-Salem and Bill and Terri Songer of Mocksville; seven great-grandchildren, Ryan and Austin Songer, Morgan and Weston Gillis, Caitlin and Mary and Jenna Craft; two stepgreat-grandchildren, Ann Williams and Jennifer Songer; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held at Concord United Methodist Church with Pastor Thomas Albert officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery. Memorials may be made to Concord United Methodist Church Building Fund, 8955 Concord Church Road, Lewisville, NC 27023.
Thomas Franklin Glasscock
Thomas Franklin Glasscock, 83, died May 1 at his home in Lewisville. He was born August 1, 1923, in Davie County to Marshall Everette Glasscock and Katheryn Rollins Glasscock. He was a U.S. Army World War II veteran and a member of the VFW. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Elizabeth Ann Carmichael; his parents; a brother, Clyde Glascock; and a stepsister, Nancy Allen.
Surviving are his wife, Constance Walker Glasscock; two daughters, Katheryn G. Williamson and husband George and Phyllis G. Thatcher and husband Steve; three sons, Timothy E. Glasscock and wife Deborah, Thomas F. Glasscock and wife Peggy and Tracy A. Glasscock and wife Cindy; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mary Spillman and Jane Tutterow; a stepsister, Dorothy Edwards; and a stepbrother, M. Everette Glasscock Jr.
A memorial service was held at Vogler and Sons Chapel in Clemmons with Rev. Mark Portis officiating. Memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative CareCenter, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston-Salem, NC 27103.
Robert Vestal Miller Jr.
Robert Vestal Miller Jr., 78, of Winston-Salem died May 1 at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born in Forsyth County to Robert V. Miller Sr. and Myrtle Ayers Miller. He was a member of Union Ridge United Methodist Church. He retired from R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Co. after 30 years and served in the U.S. Army. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Clara Moser and Amelia Smith; and four brothers-in-law, Jerry Pitts, Richard Moser, Fletcher Martin and Joseph Smith.
Surviving are his wife of 58 years, Grace F. Miller of the home; a daughter, Robin Haneline, and husband Dwayne of Winston-Salem; a brother, “Red” Miller and wife Gayle of Winston-Salem; four sisters, Irene Martin of Winston-Salem, Linda Ketner and husband Clete of Hubert, Donna Phillips and husband Chuck of Clemmons and Candy Newsom and husband Larry of Winston-Salem; many nieces and nephews; and his pal, Gizmo.
A graveside service was held at Union Ridge United Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Jim Raines officiating.
John Lee Mittman
John Lee Mittman, 76, of Mount Airy died April 29 at Forsyth Medical Center. He was the husband of the late Annie Mae Mittman. He was born March 18, 1931, in Surry County to the late Clint and Mollie Vaughn Mittman. He was the owner-operator of Mittman’s Paint and Body Shop in Mount Airy and was a member of Mallalieu Jones United Methodist Church in the city. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He served on the Mount Airy Rescue Squad, the Mount Airy City Planning Board and as a trustee of Mallalieu Jones United Methodist Church. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by sisters Lucille Mittman and Pamona Hatcher; and brothers Claude Mittman, Clint Mittman and Ben Mittman.
Surviving are two daughters, Amy White and husband Al of Clemmons and Gloria McNeill and husband Linwood of Garner; his grandchildren, Alfred Mittman White, Amanda White, Nikki McNeill and Adrianne McNeill; brothers and sisters-in-law Bobby Gray and Barbara Mittman of Mount Airy, Jimmy and Judy Mittman of Greensboro, Alzona Mittman of Mount Airy and Eva Mittman of Mount Airy; many nieces, nephews and cousins; and a host of friends.
Funeral services were held at Mallalieu Jones United Methodist Church in Mount Airy with Rev. Cecil Thompson and Rev. Benjamin Mittman Jr. officiating. Burial followed in Oakdale Cemetery in Mount Airy with graveside rites conducted by VFW Memorial Honor Guard Mount Airy Post 2019 and Pilot Mountain Post 9436.
Opal Geneva Groce Phillips
Opal Geneva Groce Phillips, 91, of Yadkinville died May 4. She was born April 10, 1916. She was born in New Castle, Ind., and moved with her parents to Yadkinville when she was three years old. She lived the rest of her life in Yadkin County. She went to Forbush Baptist Church in the Forbush community from the age of three and dedicated her life to God at the age of 12. She was a part of the Forbush Church for 88 years until her health declined. She was retired from Hanes Corp. She was a devoted Christian who loved God, her family and the church family. She always had a kind word and something good to eat for all who visited. She was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Thomas Abram Phillips; her parents, Floyd and Bessie Shore Groce; a sister, Ella Mae Groce; and four brothers Ernest, Ralph, Paul and Nelson Groce.
Surviving are daughters Angelia Phillips Wiles of Winston-Salem and Christine Moody and husband Curt of Clemmons; grandchildren Victor Cranfill and wife Angela of Kernersville, Sonya Walker and husband Brian of Lexington and Kyle Moody and wife Terryjean of Arden; great-grandchildren Matthew and Bradley Walker of Lexington and Joseph Cranfill of Kernersville; sisters Nancy Mackie of Yadkinville and Margaret Smoot and husband Ralph of Elkin; and a brother, Thomas Groce of Yadkinville.
Funeral services were held at Forbush Baptist Church with Rev. Bobby Reece officiating.
Ulysses Gray Flynn
Ulysses Gray Flynn, 80, of Winston-Salem died April 30 at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born March 12, 1927, to the late Ernest Gray and Nonnie Scott Flynn in Forsyth County. He attended Rural Hall High School and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy having served during World War II and the Korean War. He briefly worked for the N.C. Department of Transportation and Bahnson Insulation Co. He also worked for R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Co. and retired with over 33 years of service. He loved to travel and during his life, he traveled extensively through Mexico, Canada and the United States. His favorite places were Alaska and North Carolina where he enjoyed spending time at Saddle Ridge Mountain in Alleghany County. He was preceded in death by his wife, Peggy Jean Mickey; a sister, Frances Merritt; a brother-in-law, Carl Merritt; and a sister-in-law Laura Mickey.
Surviving are a son, Gene G. Flynn and wife Dona of Clemmons; a daughter, Annette Franklin and husband Sam of Morganton; a grandson, Barkley D. Flynn of Greenville; a brother, Carl Flynn, and wife Betty of Rural Hall; two sisters, Ruth Shore and husband Clarence of Lewisville and Peggy Bennett of King; two brothers-in-law, Jack Mickey and wife Ruby of Germanton and Ernest Mickey and wife Margaret Ann of Elizabeth City; and also a special longtime buddy, Tom Beroth.
A graveside service was held at Forsyth Memorial Park.
Mary Aylene Woody Gamble
Mary Aylene Woody Gamble, 90, of Forest City died May 4 at her residence. She was born April 25, 1917, in Gaffney, S.C., and was a daughter of the late William Furman and Mary Elizabeth Harrison Woody. She served as Miss Spindale in her youth, providing gasoline and car care alongside her husband at three Gamble’s ESSO stations during the 1950s, and later, providing joy and comfort to thousands through her floral arrangements as owner of Gamble’s Florist on West Main Street in Forest City for over 50 years. After finally retiring at age 80, she enjoyed fellowship at the Rutherford County Senior Center, trips with the Forest City Seniors, dancing and playing cards with friends and spending time at the family vacation cottage in North Myrtle Beach. She was a member of the Friendship Sunday school class at First Baptist Church of Forest City. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hubert B. Gamble; and her brother, Roland A. Woody.
Surviving are her daughter, Marilyn Gamble Watkins of the home; granddaughter Shannon Watkins of Clemmons; sister Christine Woody Johnson and husband Junior of Forest City; and nieces and nephews, including J. Larry Harrill and wife Libby of Forest City, Randy Harrill and wife Donna of Murrells Inlet, S.C., Johnny Johnson of Gallatin, Tenn., Debbie Johnson Wilson and husband Mike of Forest City, Susie Johnson Davis and husband Johnny of Sunshine, Ginger Johnson Marshall and husband Gregg of Forest City and Jeff Johnson and wife Beth of Charlotte.
Funeral services were held at First Baptist Church in Forest City. Burial followed in Cool Springs Cemetery.
Alie Price Fulton Greer
Alie Price Fulton Greer, 95, a resident of Independence Village of Winston Salem, died May 4 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born April 12, 1912, in Forsyth County to the late Lucius and Daisy Sheek Fulton of Clemmons. She was a friendly outgoing woman who loved reading the Bible and enjoyed making new friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Greer; four sisters, Luna Luckenback, Margaret Fulton Mock, Frances Fulton Mock and Caroline Moore; and a brother, Roy Fulton.
Surviving are many nieces and nephews.
Edward Denard Byers
Edward Denard Byers, 43, of 4260 Brownsboro Road, Apt. B-25, Winston-Salem, known to many by “Ed” and to his family as “Poochie,” passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, March 13, 2008, at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center. He was born March 26, 1964, in Winston-Salem to Amos Byers Jr. and Ella Mae Byers. He was a member of Rising Ebenezer Baptist Church, which he attended all of his life. Mr. Byers was a 1983 graduate of Parkland High School and a 1988 alumnus of Winston-Salem State University. During his athletic career, Ed received a full scholarship for football at WSSU under former coach Bill Hayes. After college, he tried out for the NFL Cincinnati Bengals. He was inducted into Parkland High School Sports Hall of Fame for excellence in football, where his jersey “No. 44” was retired. He was named All-American and played in state play-offs and championships. Ed was currently employed by Guilford County Scales Learning Center, Greensboro, and with WTB New Vision as a resident counselor. During his career, he was an assistant coach for the Greensboro Prowlers Semi-Professional Football Team, assistant coach at West Forsyth High School-football, WSSU Summer Camp-football director, coach for Little League football, various teachers’ assistants for the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County school system, Douglas Battery and Sara Lee Textiles. He was preceded in death by his father; and two brothers, Ozzie Johnson and Maurice Byers. Left to cherish his memories are his wife, Robin Wilborn Byers of Winston-Salem; three sons, Shelton Davis Sr., Monterio Davis and Juwaan Woodbury, all of Winston-Salem; two grandsons, Shelton Davis Jr. and Jaiheem Davis; five stepchildren; two sisters, Gwendolyn Byers and Aretha Byers, both of Winston-Salem; three brothers, Rodney (Stacy) Byers Sr., Vernon (Esthelita) Byers and Tony Ray Crosby, all of Winston-Salem; an uncle, Earl (Patricia) Byers of Winston-Salem; a great-uncle, George Smith of Gaffney, S.C.; an aunt, Wilhemenia Byers of Winston-Salem; two special friends, Darnella “Dee” McIntyre and Ernest Tanner, both of Winston-Salem; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Funeral services were conducted Thursday, March 20, at New Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church, with the Rev. William Brown of Rising Ebenezer Baptist Church officiating. Jennifer Nicole Fishel
FISHEL LAND O’ LAKES, Fla. - Jennifer Nicole Fishel, 32, of Land O’ Lakes, daughter of David B. Fishel and Rita Van Duser, passed away Sunday, March 16, 2008, at her home, in her sleep. Jennifer was born Feb. 24, 1976, in Winston-Salem, N.C. A graduate of West Forsyth High School, she held a Bachelor’ s degree in marketing from UNC-Wilmington. Her passion was fine food, and after college she began a 10-year career in catering and food marketing. She worked for Winston-Salem area firms until 2003 when she moved to the Tampa area and continued her career, serving as a manager and marketing director for two restaurant chains. Beginning in October 2006, she lived a dream, serving as the chef on a charter yacht sailing from St. Thomas in the Caribbean for eight months. Although she had a unique talent for dropping electronic equipment overboard, the pleasure her clients expressed with her food and service was one of the sincere joys of her life. At the time of her death, she was a student at the Florida Art Institute’ s School of Culinary Arts and was ranked in the top of her class. She was also a food and restaurant columnist for Manatee Media Inc., publishers of a chain of weekly newspapers in the Tampa area. Her love of fine food was only slightly greater than her devotion to University of North Carolina basketball. When her Heels were on the court, nothing else mattered, and now she will be in the front row for every game. She is survived by her mother, Rita Van Duser of Venice; her father and stepmother, David and Patti Fishel of Land O’ Lakes; her beloved paternal grandmother, Ruth Fishel; and her maternal grandparents, Charles and Janet West of Winston-Salem. She is also survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Craig and Susan Fishel; two nieces, Eden and Cecily; and a nephew, David Anthony, all of Marietta, Ga.; and Kemer Petty of Winston-Salem, her true and loyal friend. Other survivors include her uncle and aunt, Randy and Amy West of Clemmons, N.C.; aunt and uncle Cathy and Sam Hutchins of Beaufort, N.C.; and her aunt, Carol Cawley of Albuquerque, N.M. In keeping with her expressed wishes, Jennifer will be cremated and her ashes scattered on a quiet beach where she can always be near the ocean and watch the sunsets. Jennifer was not one for memorials and flowers. Instead, for those who loved her and wish to remember her, the greatest respect she could be paid would be to spend a few minutes with her thinking about her words, written a few months before her death: “This is my advice to you. Live life to its fullest. Love and enjoy every moment. Have no regrets. Feel everything good and bad as it is. It is worth it. Know peace. Know love. Know energy. Know light. It will change your life.”
Anna Martin
Mrs. Anna Martin, “Ann,” of 3517 Glenn Ave., Winston-Salem, passed away Tuesday, March 18, 2008, at Forsyth Medical Center. She was a native of Clemmons and a retired employee of Thomasville Furniture Co. She was a member of St. John Baptist Church, where she was a member of the Senior Choir. She is survived by a daughter, Nedith Woods of Killeen, Texas; two sons, David Martin of the city and Richard Martin of the home; 17 grandchildren; a host of great-grandchildren; and a host nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. Funeral services were conducted Monday, March 24, at St. John Baptist Church, with the Rev. Leonard Lewis officiating. Interment followed in Evergreen Cemetery.
Irene Hire Blakeley
Mrs. Irene Hire Blakeley, 79, of Winston-Salem passed away Sunday, March 23, 2008 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born June 24, 1928 in Forsyth County to Glenn Franklin and Zora Etta King Hire. She was a loving mother, grandmother and a special mamaw to everyone she knew. Mrs. Blakeley was a member of Clemmons First Baptist Church and retired from Jostens’ Publishing Company. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil E. Blakeley and a sister, Bonnie H. Odom. Surviving are a daughter, Glenda Diane Phillips of Winston-Salem; a granddaughter, Christy Medeiros and husband, Mike of Winston-Salem; a great grandson, Ethan Medeiros (Boo) who was special to her heart; two sisters, Mozelle H. Pickle of Clemmons and Exie H. Branon of Winston-Salem; a brother, Ray T. Hire of Winston-Salem; four nephews and six nieces. A graveside service will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 26 at Westlawn Gardens of Memory in Clemmons with Dr. Robert Phillips. There is no stated visitation. The family and friends are welcome to visit the family at the home of Christy Medeiros.
Robert Hughes Hill Jr.
Robert Hughes Hill Jr., 87, of Meadowbrook Manor, Clem-mons, died December 12. He was born November 9, 1915, in Davidson County to Robert Hughes Hill and Martha Jane Swing Hill. He was a retired truck driver and farmer. He was a member of Vernon Forest Baptist Church, formerly Urban Street Baptist Church, where he was an active member for 56 years. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mamie Rowland Hill, in 1999; and a son, Ronald Hughes Hill.
Surviving are his daughter, Martha Clodfelter and husband Gene of Winston-Salem; a special granddaughter, Kelli Alease Clodfelter; a sister, Nell Lumsden of Richmond, Va.; and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held at Woodland Cemetery with Rev. Lee Stocks and Rev. Amis Daniel officiating.
Roger W. Sizemore
Roger W. Sizemore, 83, of Boonville died December 15 at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. He was born December 15, 1919, in Yadkin County to Arthur and Betty Sizemore. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, having served during World War II. He was retired from Anchor Motor Freight after 22 years. He was a member of Union Grove Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Beulah Vestal.
Surviving are his wife of 62 years, Edna F. Sizemore of the home; three children, Doris Adams and husband Bill and Dale Sizemore and wife Kay, both of Boonville, and Brenda Puckett of Lewisville; five grandchildren, Tim Adams, Leslie Comer, Dawn Mahan and husband Junior, Susan Gough and Jason Sizemore and wife Amanda; a brother, Bruce Sizemore of Boonville; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held at Huff Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Kenny Gooden officiating.
Henry Franklin Watson
Henry Franklin Watson, 90, of Clemmons died December 10 at the Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center.
Surviving are his daughter, Myrna Hughes and husband Ed.

Roger Eugene Tuttle Sr.
Roger Eugene Tuttle Sr., 83, of Winston-Salem died December 11 at Forsyth Medical Center after a period of declining health. A native of Forsyth County, he was born March 10, 1919, to the late Samuel Alexander and Edna Chadwick Tuttle. He was a member of Fairview Moravian Church and had retired from R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Co. as a truck driver with more than 34 years of service.
Surviving are his wife of 61 years, Louise “Lucy” Moore Tuttle; a son, Roger E. Tuttle Jr. and wife Vikki of Lewisville; two daughters, Judith Marion and husband Ottie of Winston-Salem, and Doris “Jean” Jones and husband Phillip of Tobaccoville; six grandchildren, Ray Wiggins Jr., Cheri Sapp and husband Randy, David Marion, Jamie Tuttle, Jamie Williams and Rebekah Williams; two great-grandchildren, Jessica and Hillary Sapp; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Walter Tuttle and wife Edith, and Howard Tuttle and wife Becky; two sisters, Ruth Gentry and Lena Slate; a sister-in-law, Ruby Tuttle; and several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
A graveside service was held at Bethania Moravian Church Graveyard with Rev. Reddick Weber officiating.
Milton Keith Miller
Milton Keith Miller, 47, of Lewisville died December 13 at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born in Forsyth County on September 30, 1955, to Milton C. and Mabel Agnes Miller. He was employed with K.A.O. Specialties Americas and was a member of Sunrise United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his father.
Surviving are his wife, Elizabeth Grubb Miller of the home; two children, Russell Pierce Miller and Cameron Gates Miller, both of the home; and his mother, of Clemmons.
Funeral services were held at Voglers Clemmons Chapel with Rev. Danny Leonard and Rev. Dennis Conner officiating, and. burial followed in Westlawn Gardens of Memory.
Ina Mae Loggins Fair
Ina Mae Loggins Fair, 84, a resident of Arbor Acres in Winston-Salem and formerly of Kernersville died December 13 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born October 12, 1918, in Forsyth County, a daughter of the late Luther J. and Carrie Fulk Loggins. She was a member of Bunker Hill United Methodist Church and a retiree of Royal Cake Co. She was preceded in death by her husband, Virgil D. Fair Sr., a son, David Wayne Fair and a daughter, Karen Linda Fair.
Surviving are a son, Virgil Dee Fair Jr. of Clemmons; two daughters, Janice F. Idol of Kernersville and Teresa F. Todd of Loris, S.C.; a sister, Carey Lee Drane of Clemmons; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at Bunker Hill United Methodist Church Rev. Dana McKim and pastor-interim Marilyn Weiler officiating, and burial followed in the Woodland Cemetery in Winston-Salem.
Willie Beatrice Adams Eldridge
Willie Beatrice Adams Eldridge, 85, of State Road died December 16. She was born in Surry County November 29, 1917, to Sinkler Adams and Bertie McCann Adams. She was a resident of Hugh Chatham Nursing Center in Elkin. She was a homemaker highly skilled in cooking, sewing, crocheting, needlepoint, gardening and caring for her family, whom she loved dearly. She was a lifelong member of Poplar Springs Baptist Church, where she sang in the choir and enjoyed the fellowship of the members. She retired from Lucia Manufacturing Co. after many years of service. Her loving husband of 39 years, Percy Eldridge, preceded her in death August 28, 1977. Three brothers, Gratis, Frank and Tommy Adams also preceded her in death.
Surviving are a son, Ned Eldridge and wife Claudia of High Point; a daughter, Margie Harrell and husband Gavin of State Road; and five grandchildren, Page Eldridge and wife Jenny of Lewisville, Sarah Shingler and husband Stephen of Sarasota, Fla., John Eldridge of Delray Beach, Fla., Christa Sheek and husband Wade of Duluth, Ga., and Nathan Harrell of State Road; five sisters, Pauline Sprinkle of Elkin, Lizzie Gambill and husband Conard of State Road, Louise Pinnix Sprinkle of Swan Creek and Barbara Nixon and husband Roger of Boonville; a brother, Herbert Adams and wife Betty Ruth of State Road; and many nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors.
Funeral services were held at Poplar Springs Baptist Church with Rev. Roger Hensley and Rev. John Wishon officiating, and burial followed in the church cemetery.
Hattie Walser Hege
Hattie Walser Hege, 93, of Clemmons Village II died December 19. She was born March 6, 1909, in Davidson County to the late Venus Marshall and Ollie Pickett Walser. She was a member of Arcadia United Methodist Church. Her husband, Adam P. Hege; three brothers, Cletus, Wade and Gilmer Walser; and a sister, Gladys Walser Leonard, preceded her in death.
Surviving are a son, Philip Hege and wife Aileen of Shelby; a daughter, Pearl Hayman and husband Ernst of Beaufort; two sisters, Myrtle Hege and Hazel Hanes, both of Lexington; three grandchildren, Karen Hendrick and husband Andrew III of Charlottesville, Va., Scott Hege and wife Debra of Oswego, N.Y. and Ernst Hayman III of Beaufort; five great-grandchildren, Madeleine, Andrew and Bryan of Charlottesville, Va., and Adam and Kristin, both of Oswego, N.Y.; a sister-in-law, Ollie Hoffman and husband Lester; and a niece, Ruby Byerly, all of Clemmons.
Funeral services were held at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Rev. Dianne Marsden officiating, and burial followed in Westlawn Gardens of Memory.
