CHANDLER
Janie Leona Chandler, 97, Iberia, died Jan. 16, 2003, at Miller County Care Center, Tuscumbia.
She was born March 19, 1905, in Orlando, Okla., a daughter of William and Amelia James Sands. She was married Sept. 10, 1955, in Waynesville, to Roy O. Chandler, who died Feb. 26, 1996.
She was a homemaker and a member of Independence Baptist Church, Hazelgreen.
Survivors include: two sons, Vern Carroll, Hazelwood, and Ken Carroll, Riverside, Calif.; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and five great great-grandchildren.
One daughter, Darlene Carroll, preceded him in death in 1932.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Rekus Funeral Home, Iberia. The Rev. RoseEllen Hoff will officiate. Burial will be in the Iberia Cemetery.
Visitation will be from noon-2 p.m. today.
Memorials are suggested to Miller County Care Center.
WALTERS
Samuel R. "Sam" Walters, 55, Gravois Mills, died Jan. 11, 2002, at his home.
Arrangements are with Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home, Versailles.
WALLACE
Geneva M. Wallace, 81, Jefferson City, died Jan. 14, 2003, at Capital Region Medical Center.
Arrangements are at Debo Funeral Home, Fulton.
COSHOW
Ralph Louis Coshow, 75, Jefferson City, died Jan. 17, 2003, at Capital Region Medical Center.
He was born May 26, 1927, in Osage City, a son of Ralph L. and Nettie M. Harvey Coshow. He was married Feb. 18, 1965, in Lake Forest, Ill., to Louise Saint, who died April 23, 1997. He was married July 18, 1998, in Jefferson City, to Roberta Woodward, who survives at the home.
He was a graduate of St. Joseph's High School and was a Navy veteran of World War II, the Korean War and the Vietnam War. He worked for the Jefferson City Police Department and later owned and operated the Mari-Osa-Delta Campground.
He was a member of Liberty Road Baptist Church, Jefferson Lodge 43, A.F. & A.M., the Jefferson City Chapter 34 Royal Arch Mason, Ezra Council 32 Cryptic Masons, Prince of Peace Commandery 29 Knights Templar, 21 Degree Scottish Rite, Jefferson City Chapter 496 Order of the Eastern Star, Victoria Chapter 14 Order of the Eastern Star, Moolah Temple Shrine of St. Louis, The Order of the White Shrine of Jerusalem Tippeary Council Knights Mason, Capitol Shrine Club, Knights York Cross of Honor, the Gideons International, V.F.W. Roy Sone Post 1003, American Legion Rosceo Post 5, Fleet Reserve Association, Independent Order of Odd Fellows, and the Knights of Pythias.
Other survivors include: two stepsons, Lonnie Woodward, Freeburg, and Bobby Woodward, Taos; two stepdaughters, Jenalle Schoonover, Spring, Texas , and Jelene Ballard, Dumas, Texas ; eight step-grandchildren and four step great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Buescher Memorial Home. The Rev. Dale Beasterfled will officiate. Burial will be in Hawthorn Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Monday with a Masonic service at 7:30 p.m.
Memorials are suggested to Liberty Road Baptist Church.
WESTER
Services were Friday for Clay Edward Wester, 70, Springfield, formerly of Jefferson City, who died Jan. 7, 2003, at Cox South Hospital.
He was born Jan. 19, 1932, in Springfield, a son of William C. and Annabel Wright Wester. He was married to Betty June Linebaugh Wester, who survives.
He graduated from Springfield Central High School in 1950 and attended Southwest Missouri State College. He graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 1959 with a bachelor's of science degree in civil engineering. He worked for the Missouri Department of Transportation in Springfield, St. Louis and Jefferson City for 37 years, retiring in 1994. He lived in Jefferson City from 1977-1994, when he moved to Springfield. He was a member of Covenant Presbyterian Church, where he was an ordained elder. He was active in Heart of the Ozarks Chapter of Sertoma Club and Meals-on-Wheels. He was an Air Force veteran.
Other survivors include: one son, Michael Jeff Wester, Springfield; one daughter, Laura Beth Pace, Nixa; two brothers, John James Wester, Kansas City, and William J. Wester, Springfield; and four grandchildren.
Services were at Greenlawn Funeral Home South. Jerry Douglas officiated. Burial was in Hazelwood Cemetery.

WEST
Warren Corbett West, 88, Jefferson City, died Jan. 16, 2003, at Capital Region Medical Center.
He was born Aug. 1, 1914, in Meta, a son of Roy and Angie Pointer West. He was married in 1939, in Meta, to Lucille Helton. He was married in 1949, in Jefferson City, to Stella Porterfield. He was married Jan. 24, 1999, in Tebbetts, to Wanda Mae Floyd, who survives at the home.
He attended Meta schools and was a Navy veteran of World War II. He worked as an insurance agent for National Life and Accident Insurance Co. and worked for Kroeger Company. He was a member of Tebbetts United Methodist Church and the Tebbetts Lodge 565 A.F. & A.M.
Other survivors include: one son, Garry W. West, Comfort, Texas ; two brothers, Clarence West, Collinsville, Ill., and Leonard West, St. Louis; one sister, Odella Slaughter, Eugene; and two grandchildren.
One son, Warren S. West, preceded him in death.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Buescher Memorial Home. The Rev. Larry Sapp will officiate. Burial will be in the Southside Cemetery, Meta, with military honors.
Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. today with Masonic services at 7 p.m.
Memorials are suggested to Tebbetts United Methodist Church.
OWENS
Richard F. Owens, 84, Linn, died Jan. 17, 2003, at St. Marys Health Center.
He was born Aug. 4, 1918, in St. Louis, a son of Louis L. and Lola B. Prater Owens. He was married Oct. 21, 1939, in Linn, to Lula Mae Vincent, who survives.
He lived in St. Louis and the Central Missouri area all of his life, working for the St. Louis Board of Education for 45 years prior to his retirement.
Other survivors include: one daughter, Sharon Anthony, Linn; one brother, Gilbert Owens, Linn; two sisters, Margie Schneider and Julie Berhorst, both of Cooper Hill; four grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Morton Funeral Home, Linn. The Rev. Tony Townley will officiate. Burial will be in Useful Cemetery in Osage County.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. today.
Memorials are suggested to the charity of the donor's choice.
LePAGE
Robert C. LePage, 78, Jefferson City, died Jan. 17, 2003, at his home.
He was born Sept. 21, 1924, in Jefferson City, a son of Constant A. and Tressie J. Wilkerson LePage. He was married May 17, 1952, in Jefferson City, to Ann M. Wilde, who survives at the home.
He attended Jefferson City schools and was a Navy veteran of World War II.
He worked for the McDonnell Douglas Aircraft Plant, St. Louis. He worked for the Department of Corrections at the Alogoa Correctional Center until his retirment in 1989.
He was a member of the VFW Roy Sone Post 1003 and the American Legion Roscoe Enloe Post 5.
Other survivors include: one son, Ronald C. LePage, Tampa, Fla.; one sister, Mary Lou Weigel, Jefferson City; and one grandson.
Services with military honors will be at 2 p.m. Jan. 27 at Buescher Memorial Home. The Rev. Dan Kaffenberger will officiate. His body was donated to the University of Missouri Department of Anatomy.
Visitation will be from 1-2 p.m. Jan. 27.
